The pain grew more intense with every contraction. Amie was having trouble keeping up with the sudden shock of being in labor. She was screaming at Heidi, "I thought you said it was going to be slow at first!"

Heidi tried her best to talk down the irrational Amie, "Yes, well every birth is different. Sorry dear, hold still while I check how far along you are."

Amie couldn't handle the pain she was in. She was shaking uncontrollably, retching, and was shouting with every contraction, "MY BACK! MY BACK IS GOING TO BREAK!"

Heidi ignored her shouting and went to check if the baby's head was visible. She got quite a shock when water gushed out onto her.

Amie paused her shouting for a moment, "What was that?"

Heidi calmly told her, "Oh it's nothing, I think I accidentally popped your water."

Amie snapped, "WHAT DO YOU MEAN ACCIDENTALLY!!!"
