Shortly afterward, A middle-aged man appeared in the sky and sighed after looking at the golden brilliance, " Sigh...Looks like it started. "

The golden brilliance stayed for three days as the whole world talked about this strange phenomenon.

But after three days, all golden brilliance gathered in the sky before becoming a grand mountain filled with lush greenery and water bodies.

Along with that, Every single person heard a grand voice, as if a king's decree.

[ Mortals! Your time has come. After three years, you will fight against despair and will be wiped out. BUT there is a chance to fight and win against that despair. Join the Myriad Mountain and start your journey in the Wild Expanse to get strong! ]

Cosmic Peak

[A/N: I will be going fast-paced because I want to enter the main focus of this story. This build-up of Aren's character is enough for now, but I will still show more of the journeys after the Archipelago arc. Their progress will fast with time skips and I won't show much status, but I will not keep loose ends. Despair will arrive soon and after that, the real focus will start on new horizons.]


The coin toss was won by Tyrance, so he got the Ancient Tome. The others rewards were split among everyone else.


In the next hour, everyone completed the first two objectives of killing four Nightmare duke beasts and clearing the cave of the eternal night.


Clearing the Cave of Eternal night gave everyone a whooping 10m exp. However, none of them were surprised, instead, all of them had serious expressions.


"Don't tell me the next step is going to be even harder?" Vini said with a frown and cursed. "We almost died in this fucking cave."
