Note: If you like the Video game genre (MMORPG) but with a twist like the whole world is forced to play the MMORPG game...to survive, then you will love it. (It's not exactly an MMO game but game-like settings.) So, well, even if you are not a fan of the video game genre, you might still like it so give it a try. This novel has more things than just the video game genre. :D.

However, all path options given to individuals are suitable because they are given to them through a dream test that nobody remembers after their lifeform elevation process is finished.
So what exactly is the goal behind this despairing phenomenon and the mysterious voice that suddenly forced them to go into a magical world to get strong if they don't want to die in despair?

Hey everyone. This will be a detailed review, in hopes that it would give you the push to read the novel. Written at ch. 110 -------- As a reader of the author's previous and first novel, Tale of the Void Emperor, I have to say, I am very impressed. The author's first novel is very unique in its own sense, however, it had mistakes in the beginning due to being author's first novel, later on, you would rarely see such mistakes. I took too long saying unnecessary things, but for me, I hsd to say those things because this novel actually has, in my humble opinion, more potential than the previous one. The idea is very unique, the power system is very well-written, not only that, but the writing style from chapter 1 to latest is very consistent with little to no mistakes at all. The MC, Aren, is a normal human being, not someone with future memories or anything, he's someone who has a goal of overcoming the disaster so that he would be able to live peacefully. He's not lame, he's smart, calculative, and above all, has a clear goal in his mind. As for the world building and side characters, author did a pretty good job, he didn't do any info dumping, but introduced everything once it appeared, explaining it in a way that wouldn't bore the reader. The side characters are given their own time to grow not like other novels where MC meets friends and they are thrown in the background and forgotten. There aren't a lot of them introduced right now since (Spoiler)... Author is currently updating at a rate of 1/day, however, he's planning to increase that soon. Finally, the novel isn't filled with a lot of fillers, other than first 10 or 20 chapters since author had to do some world building. ------ Anyways, this is it for my review, hope I didn't take long.
Written at chapter 126: Honestly, this novel so far is very VERY good. Practically all aspects blend together perfectly and leave me wanting more chapters. The power system is unique with extremely interesting and cool abilities and the world itself has a lot of potential for expansion. The MC is a really nice blend of emotional and logical, although there are 1 or 2 situtations where I’m like ‘wtf’, they serve to make him more relatable. I would give this novel a 4.8 currently. Now, one may ask, why not a 5/5? It’s due to a pet peeve of mine, and also the only thing I have found to dislike so far to the point of annoyance. It is how puppet-like the MC gets treated by the higher existences. Don’t get me wrong, it doesn’t necessarily take away from the story or ruin the reading experience from what I’ve read so far…it’s simply annoying. If they don’t want him to make a certain decision, they will quite literally force him do something else and he, quite literally cannot do anything about it lol. I can’t into detail without spoiling some things but it’ just something I dislike personally, nothing too big. It’s happened a few times so far and they led to cool/interesting things so I won’t complain too much 🤷♂️ Overall: I don’t want to make is sound like the novel has a glaring flaw, as it’s probably something small or unimportant to most, so definitelty give this novel a try as the story so far is really good and the potential is among the best on Webnovel imo. You definitely wont regret it
This book is like an mmorpg but in real life with high stakes like death,in this story we follow a young talented kid named aren who goes in as a person in poverty but quickly excels in the new world he is in where he fights monsters and does quests to level up,in most mmo style games youll chose a class but in this everyone gets to choose from three paths that were chosen because they were suitable for the person every path is unique so you wont find two people with the same abilities i could go on but we would be getting into spoiler territory if I did so ill stop here thank you for reading.
I see tremendous potential in the story. I read what the author wrote in chapters 8 and 9 in the comment section and it just hyped me up more. So the world is heading for an apocalypse in 3 yrs and everyone on earth has the option to enter another world and get stronger. It's not a new concept, but that doesn't really matter. The story itself is alright, if you are into gamer stories with lots of screens and numbers, Good writing quality and update schedule too. The main problems of this story is the way it is currently structured. There isn't really an engaging plot. Like the main goal is just to get stronger, and going into different dungeons or opportunities to get stronger. That's it. There's no overarching plot in the Otherworld. It's just to kill monsters, earn money and level up, and repeat. He isn't solving problems that help people of the other world or anything. He just appears to be amassing strength the entire time. Also feels like the author sometimes falls into that pitfall, where the MC is the only one with good ideas and carries everyone else. Story has a lot of potential, but the author needs to work harder to make them happen.
well... i considering this story is just in its starting period, ii ant to read more and more😅😅😅 story is op and i love it!!!💗🔥🔥[img=update][img=update][img=update]
everything is good so far i have read up to 132 chapters and the writing quality, stability of updates, battle systems and world backgroun were pure gold this is the best novel i have read so far
This book is flying way under the radar. Maybe because therE are only 90 chapters. But based on the foundation this will be a top 25 novel
I love this book please Write more chapters every day. You should also have more fights and tests the that huge snake underground was a bit too early.
I have only read a few chapters but I can tell the story is off to a really good start, it has a lot of potential, the writing quality is good, the world background is nice even though I am not used to it as yet, overall amazing, keep up the good work.
Just by the beginning of the novel, you can already tell it's going to be good. I'm also going off from the experience of his other novel and that's a 5 star for me. The only things he needs to change are little mess-ups with some pronouns and other things. This will be a great read.
this is an amazing book especially if you are into a weak mc getting strong bit by bit through hard work and hoping to save his world through. I would definitely reccomend this book to all fellow wuxia and xianxia lovers like me. because I guarantee that you will absolutely love it just like me.
113 chapters in & I'm enjoying this story very much. The attention to detail while also not resorting to infodumps is refreshing. Eager to see where the story leads.
I've only read only the free chapters which are about chapter 51 at the time that I'm writing this review. If you like smooth writing, mmorpg, fighting, grinding, type of novel then this is for you. Writing Quality: You can pretty much read this novel smoothly and there's little to none info dump so that's 5/5. Stability of Updates: Although I've only read the free chapters, I always get notified for updates so it's pretty stable 5/5, World Background: It has unique classes or "path" as they call it here and it seems like every person have their own unique classes. So far this seems like a western fantasy with goblins, dungeons, elves, dragons, and etc. In these 50 chapters, they haven't talked about kingdoms, who's against who, famous adventurers, or anything but it has hinted about factions. But I still give a 5/5 cause it's kinda interesting for me. Story Development: The story is going well for the first 40 chapters but to me, it felt like the plot was forced when they went in a dungeon so 4/5. Character Design: Characters have unique classes, especially MC. MC's class is pretty fun and gives a lot of freedom to let the one who owns the class be creative. However, when they were about to go to a dungeon, it felt like the MC who was being developed in the first 40 chapters went into ruin at least to me. In the first 40 chapters, the MC was portrayed as an eloquent, smart, reckless but on another side of the coin can be seen as courage type of guy. But when they went into the dungeon, it felt like he gave up easily. Overall: I would recommend this novel for people who likes mmorpg stuff.
The main character in the beginning, was someone you could empathize with. Then, you start cheer for him. Throughout the rest of the story, I found myself hoping he would find the life he dreamed of and worked so hard to get.
this novel is good i actually read this on other site yesterday and its on 🔥 hope to see more character improvement and improve the world background a little that's all thanks.
