Chapter Thirty three Revelation

She saw Mrs. Melissa step from her car, she then went around the back of the car opened it, and took out four big bags. The passenger's side opens and one of Ty's cousins steps out. She remember this one, his name was Christian, he looks like a girl, with his long hair and slender figure and he was as soft-spoken as she was, she had only met him once and she could already tell that he was gay.

She left the window and went to the door to help Mrs. Melissa with the bags and saw Christian pulling a large suitcase behind him. "How are you feeling dear?" Mrs. Melissa asks with a warm smile. "I'm good ma'am thanks; may I help you with the bags?" She asks.

"Oh yes thank you, here take these two." She said. "What's up girlfriend?" Christian asks with a wink. "Hi Christian, moving in?" She asks with a mischievous smile. "You wish, Nah, these are a few things I bought for you and Faith while I was in Paris. Now put those bags in the kitchen and meet me in your room." He said in a soft voice that sounds so much like her own.

She looks at Mrs. Melissa with an astonished look on her face. "Don't look at me; I had nothing to do with this. I'm going to make some muffins for snacks." She said with a broad smile and went towards the kitchen and Janice follow her, put the bags on the counter then turn and follow Christian up the stairs.

She enters her room where Mrs. Alice was humming to a sleeping Faith. The lady then places Faith in her crib and smiles at the sleeping baby. "She's such an angel; I'm going to help Mrs. Mona now because Mrs. Mel is going to need all our help later to complete an order." She said and quietly slips from the room.

"Ready?" Christian asks arching his brows really fast. "Um…Chris…." "Stop…the only thing I want to hear is bring it." He said narrowing his eyes at her. "But…" "Woman, what did I just say? Alright, repeat after me. Bring it." He ordered. After taking a deep breath she said. "Okay, bring it." She said in a shy tone.

"Alrighty then." He said wiggling his brows as he unzips the big suitcase and began dragging things out. "Faith is about two months now right?" He asks. "Yes, she's." "Great, then these will fit perfectly, these are for two to four months. O m g, I literally couldn't help myself, these are the cutest things I have ever seen." He squeals in excitement holding up a little pink dress.

"It's beautiful, um…can I ask you a personal question?" she asks leaning her head to the side. "Personal huh, okay shoot." He said throwing a blouse at her. Her eyes widen when she looks at it. "This's gorgeous." She breathes in awe. "Wait till you see the heels to match." He laughs.

"You bought me shoes?" She asks in disbelief. "Oh girlfriend, I bought you blouses, skirts. Pants, shoes, bras, and dresses, not to mention accessories to go with all of them." He laughs again. "How did you know my size?" She asks. "I'm good at things like that." He said giving her a dress that looks like something a model would wear in a magazine. He then gave her heels to match.

"I was going to ask if you were gay but now I know you are." She said biting her lips. "So you think I'm gay because I bought you nice things?" He asks folding his arms across his chest.

'No, there's a lot about you that tells me you're gay, it's not something I can describe; it's just your personality, how you carry yourself, I guess I pick up on it more because I'm a woman, so am I wrong?" She asks. "What if I said yes?" "Then you would be lying." She said in a firm tone. He suddenly looked uncomfortable. 'I'm guessing no one knows?" She asks touching his arm gently.

"Only a hand full of people but none of my macho cousins, so please keep this between us." He said in a worried tone. "No problem, I just wanted confirmation, I think it's cool." She smiles. "I know there was a reason I liked you." He said and to her surprise, he hugs her.

"Now let's get on with it, shall we?" "But of course girlfriend." She said snapping her fingers like a diva and he burst out laughing then slaps his hand over his mouth and peak over at Faith. They breathes a sigh of relief to see that Faith was still sleeping, then they both began giggling as she went to try on one of the expensive outfits.

Ty was sitting across from Kayla as they waited for their dinner to be served when he thought of something. "Um, Kay can I ask you something?" "Sure baby." "What's my favorite color?" He asks. "What?" She asks sounding puzzled.

"My favorite color Kay?" "What kind of a question is that Ty? We have never had a conversation about your favorite things so how would I know what it is?" She asks sounding annoyed. "Do you know what my favorite color is?" She asks rolling her eyes.

"Yes I do, it's the same color as your car, your favorite jacket, and your earrings that match your necklace, and watch that you're wearing right now." He said without hesitation. "She looks at him in surprise as she plays with her dark blue diamond stud watch and her eyes widen even more when she realized that he had also bought her engagement ring in that exact same color,

How could she have not noticed that before, the dark blue diamonds were real, she always wondered why her ring cost almost a million dollars but couldn't figure it out until now, these diamonds were rare?

"Ty, I'm so sorry, I promise I'll figure it out." She said as the waiter bought their food, he had taken her to a Japanese restaurant and they were sitting at what you would call the VIP section, now this was the life and she was loving every minute of it.

The funny thing is I never had a conversation with Janice about my favorite things either but still she figured out my favorite color in less than five seconds and two weeks later she figures out his favorite drink, snack, hobby, foods, and style of clothes, now how the hell could she have figured out all that without him telling her anything but Kay couldn't. He wondered to himself. "Is it green?" She asks. "Nope." Not even close he thought shaking his head.

"Oh, by the way, were you planning on going to see your sisters tomorrow for their birthday?" He asks. "Maybe, why?" "Well tomorrow is going to be a very busy day for me, so I was hoping you would take this to them for me." He said pushing an envelope towards her.

"Wait, you're still giving her money?" She asks disbelief evident on her face. "Why does that surprise you, I gave you thirty grand to give her three days before I caught you in bed with…"

"I know, I know, but I thought you would stop after you moved out and…." "And what? Let her suffer for what you did to me. I'm not that kind of person Kay. Your mother is sickly and she and your two younger sisters need our help, now can you deliver that or not?" "Yes, consider it done." She said putting the envelope in her bag.

Mrs. Jackson was immersed in thought as she decorated the three-story wedding cake that she had taken from the fridge a few minutes before. Sandra had stopped by last night to drop off a few items for Janice and Faith. Her husband had then suggested that they all had deserted in the living room while they watched the video of his parent's anniversary party that they had sent to him because he wasn't able to attend.

Her husband had then remembered that Janice had told them a few weeks ago that she was from St. Elizabeth so he and Sandra then became curious as to how she managed to get from St. Elizabeth to where Tyler had found her that night.

She was reluctant to say anything at first but after a few gentle persuasions from Fabian, Anna and Sandra she finally broke down and told them everything, and no one in that room was prepared for what she revealed to them. They were floored, to say the least.

She had revealed that after escaping from her baby's father a taxi man gave her a lift into the town square where he told her to get as far away from there as she could. A few minutes later she saw a market truck at the town's only gas station and begged the driver for a lift to Kingston which he reluctantly agreed to.

Three ladies in the back took pity on her and each gave her five hundred dollars, a few fruits, and two bottles of water. It wasn't much but it was something. On arriving in Kingston the ladies encouraged her to get medical attention for her and her daughter because she had told them that Faith had fallen to the ground when Leon had followed her outside and pushed her down.

And even though Faith had fallen on some of the clothes that had also fallen out of her bag she knew that the child might still be hurt. She knew the ladies were right but even though pain was racking every inch of her body and her fear for her daughter's health grew, she knew she couldn't go to any hospital or even to the police because she remembered on more than one occasion hearing Leon boasting about his friends in high places. So instead of seeking any help, she concentrated on her next destination.

She was passing a few men when she heard one of them mention a place called Red Hills. She heard one ask the other if he was going to drive that far just to see a girl and the other man said yes.

The word 'far' caught her attention and she ask him if she could have a lift and he said yes but as he was driving he told her that it was going to cost her two thousand dollars to get to where she was going. Which to her sounded strange at the time; because not even she knew where she was going.

She told him that she only had one thousand five hundred and to their shock and horror, she told them that the man told her that she had to have sex with him to make up the difference.

She had then told him that she couldn't because her child was only two weeks old and she was still menstruating but to her dismay that didn't spare her from the man's abuse because he then told her that she would have to go down on him instead and that if she didn't he would take her to some of his friends and let them have their way with her.

So fear and panic made her comply with his disgusting request. When he was satisfied he stops his car and told her to get out and she did. She had then walked until she saw the benches and that was where she sat, made peace with God, and prepare herself to die. Because she knew that at the rate she was bleeding and the amount of pain she was in she wouldn't have survived the night.

She told them that she was in the process of praying when she saw a vehicle drove up and a man steps out, he was fumbling to get something from the back seat of his car and when he finally got it out he walked over to a bench that was a little distance from the one she was on.

She recognized that it was an oxygen mask he had in his hands and was again fumbling to get it over his face. She had seen enough of asthmas attacks and knew what he must have been feeling so with her baby in her hands she decides to do one last act of charity by helping him before she dies.

But he passed out before she could reach him. She had then sat beside him, put Faith on top of her bag, put the mask over the man's face, and put his head in her lap. He was barely breathing and for a while she was very worried but a little while later he woke up and she was relieved.

Moving away from the cake Mrs. Jackson went to the sink and washed her hands. She was wiping the tears from her eyes when Mrs. Mona and Miss Alice entered the kitchen and seeing the distress on her face rushed to her side.

'Mrs. Melissa are you okay?' Mrs. Mona asks first. 'You don't look so good' Miss Alice said in concern. 'What's wrong has something happened to one of the children?' Mrs. Mona asks in a panic.

'No, No they're fine, I'm fine. I'm just sad that's all.' She forces a weak smile. "Janice has been carrying a very heavy burden around with her all this time and she finally told us last night and none of us was prepared for the level of horror she went through that night.

'Speaking of which, you ladies should sit down because this isn't a pretty story but seeing as though you're just as concerned for the poor girl you really need to hear this.

Twenty minutes later they were all sitting at the counter with tears in their eyes. "The poor thing, how in God's name did she survive all that and still had the strength to help young Tyler?' Mrs. Mona asks sadly. "God's mercy kept her and the Holy Spirit brought her to the exact spot that Mr. Tyler was coming. We may not have seen it before but the Holy Spirit was the one that led this girl here.' Miss Alice adds.

"This girl is here for a reason, we just have to wait and see what that reason is.' Mrs. Mona said with a half-smile. "Maybe we should go check on her." Miss. Mona suggests. "Yes, yes….we should and I'll bring her some breakfast.' Miss Alice said moving towards the stove.
