Kayla flops down on her living room sofa as tears ran down her cheeks. Trisha who was babysitting heard her come in and came to see how her visit with Tyler went and sighs as she saw her friend crying. "What now?" Trish asks sitting beside her. "He hates me," She cried. "It can't be that bad." "Well it is, I think I've lost him for good this time, he isn't wearing his ring, what am I going to do, where am I going to live?" Kayla cried. "Wait what ring?" Trish asks. "The one I put on his finger to show that he was my property," Kayla said. "He had taken it off at one point but I did manage to put it back on his finger that night before he was taken into the hospital, as long as he was wearing my ring I knew I still had a chance but now….I don't know."
"So what did he say?" Trish asks. "He said he's done with me." She pouts. "But didn't you explain? Can't you make him understand?" Trish asks with a sarcastic smile which Kayla didn't see. "I don't know but I'm not giving up, he'll be mine again but in the meantime, I need to find somewhere to live."
The baby began crying which made Kayla even angrier. "And I need to get rid of this damn kid!" She shouts. "Calm down drama queen, what do you want to do with him?" "I don't know, give him up for adoption or something, I really don't care at this point." "What about the man that is still taking care of him? Can't he take him?" "He's married so no, he told me that he'll give me money for him but I should let my family help take care of him." "So why don't you give him to your mother?" Trish asks. "Oh please, she can't even take care of herself or the brats she already has," Kayla said in disgust. "That's not what I heard, a friend of mine who lives a few houses down from her said that your mother has been living it up lately, I heard that she doesn't even have to work anymore," Trish said rocking the baby gently.
"Living it up, what the hell are you talking about Trish?" "I heard that she is currently expanding her house and your sisters don't even have to take the bus to school anymore, they have their own driver now," Trish informs her. "And guess what?" "What," Kayla asks annoyed. "She and your future husband both attended the same church," Trish said and Kayla laughs and shakes her head. "And that answers everything. Ty is still giving her money." Kayla said and began pacing back and forth.
"I can't believe that old bat is living it up on my man's money while I get nothing, who the hell does she thinks she is, well since she's so damn well off, she can take this damn brat off my hands," Kayla said angrily.

Caleb took a deep breath as he enter Fabian's room, his brother was sitting on his bed with his laptop on his lap, and from the look on his face, Caleb knew he was still angry at him. "Come on brother, how long are you going to be angry at me? I said I was sorry, what else do you want from me?" Fabian knew that his brother still felt justified in defending Janice's honor, he also knew that Caleb hadn't fully grasped the fact that his actions could have devastating consequences.
"I want you to get a grip on your damn anger before you kill someone." Fabian snaps. "And I've been doing that, so why are you still angry at me?" "Because I'm still expecting the police to show up here and drag your ass to jail and that would probably kill mom and I'm constantly looking over my shoulders for a friend or family member of his who is going to put a bullet in me because my brother attacked someone for them," Fabian said in frustration.
"Keep your voice down will you and don't you think that if someone was going to come after me or my family, they would've been here already?" Caleb asks annoyed. "Nobody is going to put a bullet in you okay because no one saw me, so will you quit worrying already."
"No I can't, because I have come to realize that you're a very dangerous person and not just to yourself but to everyone around you. I mean how many times have we all heard of retaliation killings based on something that someone in your family has done, how many times Caleb?" "A lot okay but that is not going to happen to you, listen man I'm sorry, it won't happen again, I promise," Caleb said innocently.
"Oh please, don't make promises you can't keep because when you get angry, you don't think you just act, I was very angry at that man and her ex for what they did to her, damn we all were but you were the only one who took it to a violent level," Fabian said typing on his laptop.
"But you have to admit he deserves what he got." Caleb states. "True again but it wasn't your call to make and it changes nothing, which takes me back to when Ty was in the hospital, you said that if he didn't make it out alive you were going to put an end to Kayla." He said as he continues typing.
"And now I know you weren't just blowing off steam, you were actually threatening her life and I for one think that if Ty didn't make it, you would've gone through with that threat, am I right? " "You best believe that." Caleb said coldly. "Come to think of it I may still take the bitch out for what she did to my little brother," Caleb adds.
"And yet you just told me it would never happen again, seriously brother I'm worried about you and in this case, there may only be one option left," Fabian said sternly. "Oh man," Caleb groans. "You're not going to send me back to anger management classes are you?" "Nope, I've something better in mind," Fabian said with a wicked smile. "I'm not going to like this, am I?" Caleb asks nervously.
"On the contrary, I think you'll get a kick out of it." "Alright, what do I have to do, to make it up to you?" "Well apart from swearing on the lives of your unborn children that you'll never attack anyone ever again, you have to attend church every Saturday for the next three months." "Whoa, whoa, whoa, now wait a damn second, what does me going to church have to do with my anger?" Caleb asks. "Well, God is love so maybe going to church will make you see things differently."
"No way man; ain't going to happen, I can't spend three months' worth of Saturdays sitting in a church, damn dude, I have a life." But Fabian just shakes his head and smiles menacingly. "Wow, you actually think you have a choice, well actually you do but I guarantee you won't like it. Besides you didn't seem to mind when you were tailing after Janice." Fabian states. "I was trying to get a taste of that delectable hot chocolate but then I realized she was in love with Ty so I backed off but seriously brother, there has to be another way." "It's either church or Grandpa's boot camp in India; you do remember Grandpa's boot camp, don't you?"
"How can I forget, I spend one week in that place and had nightmares for a month, I'll take my chances in jail or church whichever name suits that place best." He groans in defeat.
