Chapter 162 Struggling

Chapter song: Too good:

By Drake ft Rihanna

Janice smiles down at her sleeping husband, despite all they have been through these past ten weeks he still managed to finish his training at the top of his class, he's very good at what he does that is for sure. All the coordinators of the training are in awe of how gifted he is and she couldn't be more proud of him.

They all arrived home three days ago and his family welcome all of them with a grand party. He was going to resume his normal work schedule tomorrow and she will resume her classes, only a few more months to go before graduation and the birth of her baby, now if only she had a clue on how to keep her husband sane until then. She smiles running her fingers through his hair and smiles even more as he moans and sinks deeper into his pillow.

She turns her head and her eyes catch one of Fabian's wedding photos on the wall, framed of course by a white photo frame, Ty's favourite colour. Fabian and Amara were doing great, they were very much in love and eagerly awaiting the arrival of their twins.

Caleb, on the other hand, seems to be struggling a bit, he and Maya don't seem to be able to agree on anything and their constant bickering sometimes gets very annoying, in her opinion, it started when they came back from their honeymoon.

Now according to Maya he dropped her off at his apartment and told her he would be right back, he did come to the house and gave her a ride on his bike and then he was with her at the hospital later that afternoon, but then his mother, sister and his dad had arrived later saying they would take her home, and that was about six thirty or so in the evening.

Now if Maya said she didn't see him again until eleven that night, where the hell was he, certainly not here at home, he left shortly after they all took her home. The fact that he refused to account for his where about half the time was what caused most of their quarrels, no marriage was without it ups and down, right? She thought shaking her head as she went to check on the kids.

A week later as Ty was picking Janice up from class, she practically runs to the car, climb in and fasten her seat belt. "Where's the fire kitten?" He asks with a laugh kissing her cheek. "Oh, no fire, I just really want to get out of here." She said her eyes scanning her surroundings.

"Why? What's wrong?" He asks with concern. "I'm not sure but I think someone has been following me." She said sounding afraid. "Really? Who? Do you recognize the person?" "No, I don't recognize him but I saw him the other day at the supermarket, then at the gas station, and I'm not sure but I could've sworn I also saw him at the church gate on Saturday and then again today across the road from my class." She said her eyes still scanning.

"Do you see him anywhere now?" He asks. "No," "Okay, I think it's time we call Jayden, you need your bodyguard, and we need to put the family on alert, we don't know who this person is or who send him, we need to be very careful," Ty said his defences rising.

"But every time Jayden guards me you've to pay him, i….I..don't want to be a burden." She said without looking at him. "You're not a burden kitten, this's what Jayden does, he's good at it and he takes his job very seriously and yes I do pay him because he has a family to take care of so I don't expect him to guard my wife for free." Ty laughs.

"Even though he would, because you're family and we look out for our own, now on the other hand, you're the love of my life and I would spend every last cent I have to make sure you're safe, so don't ever think you're a burden to me or my family, got that?" "Okay, I love you Ty." She said squeezing his hand. "I love you too kitten.

Ty arrived home to see Caleb helping his mom with some bags and decides to have a talk with him. "Hey bro, don't run off just yet alright, I need to have a chat with you." He said to Caleb who raises his brow as he took three bags into the house.

Ty then opens the car door and helps Janice out. "Go ahead kitten; I'll take care of the bags." He said rubbing her stomach. "Bags?" She asks confused, then said, 'oh', as he opens the trunk of the car. "I was so preoccupied I didn't even realize you had been to the supermarket." She said sadly.
