Chapter 16: Foundation Day

Narrator's POV

They had a meeting after class because tomorrow is the foundation day of the school. The students agreed with the photobooth and café.

The next day, they went to school early to decorate the classroom. Thalia was putting the banner, but she can't reach it, and then Zane helped her. Thalia faced Zane, and she is trapped in his arms. She looked at Zane.

When they are done decorating, they all took pictures.

"Let me take your picture, Thalia and Zane," Elkie said.

"Ok?"

"Closer. All right. Smile"

Thalia and Zane are very close to each other, and they smile at the camera.

"Done. You look good together here,"

When foundation day started, lots of students are going inside their classroom.

Thalia's POV

Lots of students are buying in our booth. I think it is Zane because he is the waiter at the café, and don't forget that he is handsome.

I feel like roaming around because I have nothing to do.

"Zane, I will just roam around,"

"Ok. Be careful"

When I was roaming around, I bumped into someone.

"Miss?"

"What is it?"

"You're I.D fell"

"Oh, thank you so much,"

"No problem"

My precious I.D. By the way, that guy is handsome, and he had a different uniform. He is from another school.

After roaming around and buying, I returned to the classroom and helped with our booth.

A student arrived.

"Oh, Kate. Hi. Do you want to try our desserts and take a picture at the photo booth?"

"Yes. I would love to. By the way, is Zane here?"

"Why?"

"I want to take a picture with him,"

"Oh. Let's go to him then,"

Kate and I went to Zane.

"Zane"

"Oh. What is it?"

"She wants to take a picture with you,"

"Ok"

Kate is so happy. I bet she likes Zane.

I have to be honest. I am jealous.

"Thalia"

"Oh, Kate"

"I know that you and Zane are close. Can you give me his number?"

I am hesitant to give Zane's number.

"Ok"

"Thanks, Thalia. You're a good friend. I got to go,"

Kate left.

I looked at Zane and I's picture, and I set it as my wallpaper.

"Did you give her Zane's number?" Elkie asked out of the blue.

"Oh, Elkie. You startled me,"

"So?"

"Yes"

"Why?"

"I don't know why,"

"I know that you like Zane. Am I right?"

"What? No"

"You're so in denial. I know you like Zane, Thalia,"

"Ok. I like Zane, but I think he doesn't like me,"

"Confess to him,"

"As if it's simple. I like it when we are always together. That's it"

"Ok. If you say so. I will leave now,"

Elkie left.

Zane's POV

When I was taking a break, my phone beeped, and it was a text from an unknown number. It says that she is on the rooftop and has something to say to me.

I went to the rooftop, and after some minutes, I arrived. Wait, I know that girl.

"Oh, you're here. By the way, I didn't introduce myself. My name is Kate Reyes,"

"What do you want to say to me?"

"I like you, Zane,"

"I'm sorry. I like someone. By the way, who gave you my number?"

"Thalia did"

"Please delete my number,"

I left and went back to the classroom to look for Thalia.

When I saw her, I grabbed her arm and dragged her to the place where there are no people.

"Zane. What's wrong with you. You're hurting my arm. Let go"

I let go of her arm.

"Why did you give that girl my number?"

"Because she asked to?"

"And you gave my number to her without my permission?"

"You know that she is beautiful,"

"I don't care,"

I left, but Thalia grabbed my shirt.

"I'm sorry, Zane. I will not do it again,"

I still did not face Thalia.

"I will treat you takoyaki. I know a booth that sells tasty takoyaki,"

I face Thalia.

"Ok. You're forgiven. But do not do it again without my permission,"

"Yehey! Let's go!"

I can't be mad at her forever.

To be honest, I came to a realization that I do like Thalia. I don't want to confess now because I like it when we are always together.

Unknown's POV

I think I met the girl that I like and her name is Thalia.
