Soon five years passed.

Somewhere in the Whitebell town.

"Tom should we kidnap that guy? What do you think." Sam asked his friend while looking at a farmer who was selling his crops.

"Hmm? That guy indeed have a good face... damn it! He is handsome than me even though he is peasant! I will kill this bastard!" Tom angirly said when he looked at that guy.

"Stop your nonsense and be quiet. People will get suspicious. Look, some are already looking at us." Said a brawly man who seemed to be their leader.

"Boss that guy is indeed beautiful. A noble will definitely give a good price for him. I think we should kidnap him outside the town." A short man said who had a cunning look on his face.

The leader thought for some time then said to the three.

"So here is my plan..."

"As expected of boss. You immediately came up with such a good plan. Following you was definitely the best decision of my life." The short man immediately tried to flatter.

"Shut up, Rat. Your flattery won't work. I will beat you up if you do it the next time." The leader scolded the man named Rat.

But internly he was thinking 'This Rat is a smart guy. I should give him more share this time.'

"But boss I didn't expected that we could make a profit in this barren town. We are really lucky this time."

"Hmm, you said right. Anyways, get the horses ready."

In a forest not far away from the town.

The trio along with their leader were hiding near the road waiting for their prey. As there is a turn here and the road is also narrow, it is a perfect place for ambush.

"We are waiting for so long. Rat, are you sure that guy will pass through here?" Sam said while slapping a mosquito on his arm.

"Are you doubting me? I have already checked about that guy. He is from the Silverfield village. And this is the only way to go there. Just wait a bit more, he will come soon." Rat said, then he suddenly slapped Sam on the cheek.

"Damn you Rat, why did you hit me?" Sam got furious and tried to grab him but Rat immediately backed away.

"Calm down, there was mosquito on your cheek." Rat said while showing his palm to Sam.

"Cut your nonsense, that guy is here." The leader said glaring at the duo. Both immediately hid under the bush.

They saw a wagon was coming towards their direction. While the wagon slowed down near the turn, the four jumped out from the bushes.

"Brat, I am level 8 warrior. You know what this means, right? If you don't want me to beat you up hurry up and come here." The leader said, pointing his sword towards the boy.

"If you dare to run then I will cut your legs." Rat added.

The young man glanced at them for a moment and said.

"What do you guys want?"

"We want to kidnap you. Now-"

"Not interested." The boy cut him short and the wagon began to move.

"Brat are you dumb or something? Do you think we will let you can go just like that?"

The leader shouted but his shouting seemed to fell on deaf ears.

Seeing the boys' actions the leader grew furious. He tried to get on the wagon intending to beat the dumb boy who dosen't fear death but at that moment he heard the boy say.

"Sigh, didn't expected some dummies would try to kidnap me again. Anyways, I just got a new skill today. Let me try it on you guys."

"How dar--"

"Annihilation Strike"

A sword manifested in the boy's hands. With unbelievable speed he appeared in front of the leader and his minions and slashed towards them. Their bodies turned into dust in a instant.

"Neat." The boy commented.

"Next time I will use this skill on guys like these. Saves me the trouble of taking care of the corpses."

The wagon moved again, towards Silverfield village.

It stopped near a house in the village. The boy got off the wagon and entered the house.

"Mom, I came back. I also bought the sweets that you wanted."

"Oh, my dear Nicholas is back? Wait, let me get water for you first. You must be thristy." A woman came out from the kitchen. She had green hair and golden eyes which were. She was Hannah.

"Mom here is the money I got from selling the crops. We got five extra coins this time."

After eating dinner and talking with his parents Nicholas went to his room.

He laid down on the bed thinking about today's events. He didn't think much about killing those guys. They wanted to kidnap him so he simply killed them. And it is not like it is his first time killing someone.

A panel appeared infront of him.

Looking at the panel Nicholas couldn't help but sigh.

More than three months ago this screen had appeared infront of him. At that time it looked like this.

Upon seeing it the first time he guessed that it was the system people get after awakening. His father had one.

But the confusing thing was why did he get it now and not when he tried to awaken at the Adventurers' association. Morever he had failed in awakening means that he couldn't awaken any more.

So why the system appeared now? He didn't think much about it since he had decided to live a normal life, it didn't matters to him.

Even if he did get awakened then so what? He had to kill monster and complete missions to level up which he won't do. So him getting awakened won't hinder him in any way and he can continue his normal life.

Or this was what he thought.

But after three days he found some changes in his body. During these three days he found that his strength and speed had increased. Even his father had a tough time against him when they practice with sword.

Nicholas found that his strength is increasing per day. Whenever he wokes up, he founds that he had become more stronger.

On the third day he thought about checking the system, thinking maybe this had something to do with it. And what he found shocked him.

He got a class and had reached level three at that. It was unbelievable! Because he neither killed monsters nor he did any missions. So there should be no way his level could increase.

Also the level 3 wasen't directly shown. Instead it was zero followed by plus three.

After some time passed but Nicholas couldn't any reason behind this. In the end he stopped about thinking this matter as he couldn't do anything about this.

The next day his level increased by one reaching level four. Just like this more than three months passed and here is now, his level reaching hundred.

He could feel unimaginable strength in his body. If he punched on the ground right now he is sure that the whole village will be flattened. Not like he is going to do it.
