Indeed, the answer is life.

Even the God of Life and Death is not so sure about life. Although it is within his authority, he did not fully understand it.

The same could be said of the other Gods regarding their authority. Otherwise, the Demons would not have reigned as they were doing now.

They would just have been a figure in the dark trying to disrupt the world's order. Or perhaps, the power of the Gods and Demons could have been balanced.

Rumble! Crack!

In the next second, the sphinx cracked into fragments. Then, a figure of an amicable old man emerged from them.

"So, it is you who answered the riddle."

The old man waved his hands and created a chair from the light of the sun towards the subspace.

"Back in my time, I am desperate to seek my origins. I kept searching for clues; I searched from the north to the south. I searched in all directions of the primordial ocean."
