Chapter 3: Playing Angel In Their Eyes

Naneel clutches the paper left by her mother in between her fingers as she stares blankly.

A tap on her shoulder shook her out of her stupor, "Blankly staring won't help arrange your luggage, sis. Let's go." The two brothers chuckle and guided their sister to her dorm.

"Huh. Who knew the boys would do a great job with arranging your stuff." Zylan contemplates as he looks around the room.

Xerelt leafs through an open book and notices a familiar note sticking out, "I don't think the boys did it." He waves the piece of paper at his brother.

"Oh... Should have guessed. She is their favorite." Zylan sighs defeatedly as he takes the paper, "Nel, the 'guys' left you a note!"

Naneel just got out of the shower when she heard her brother. She went to her closet and picked out a blue long-sleeved croptop and black high-waisted jeans. After changing, she went to her brothers in the living room.

"Finally. What took you so lon— Oh." Zylan stopped as he turns to his sister, cup of coffee at hand.

"Nel, sit down." Xerelt sighs at the sight of his sister's still wet hair. Naneel took Zylan's cup and sat infront of Xerelt.

The two shared a defeated sigh at their sister's antics. But they both have small fond smiles etched on their faces.

"Hey Nel, we'll leave first. You finish eating your cake and sleep, okay?" Zylan pats his sister's head which was responded with a hiss.

Xerelt, "See you tomorrow Nel." Waving goodbye as they went out the door. Passing a few more doors Xerelt broke the silence, "Anything suspicious in Nel's dorm?"

"Aside from being infront of 'that' guy's dorm, nothing. You?" Zylan says in a hushed tone while his peach colored irises scan their surrounding.

"None, Feira said she has something to report tomorrow. It might be something." Xerelt passes Zylan his phone.

"Hm. Indeed it might." He smirks after he sees the message.

{Meanwhile, with Naneel}

She hums a song as she feeds her pet snake, Feifei. While doing so, she noticed a shadow standing by outside her window. She was curious who would be outside when her dorm was at the 4th floor of the building.

She slowly took Feifei out of her cage and the snake coils itself around Naneel's arm, then they quietly approach her window. Feifei has been the girl's pet ever since she was 3. So the Lavender Albino Ball Python is about the same age as Naneel and understands the girl very well.

Naneel slowly opens her window, the shadow moves it's head sideways as if looking for something. The teen stretches her hand and Feifei uncoils itself and crawls outside.

It took only a few moments before someone outside screamed, "F*** snake?!?!"

The person desperately balances themself while furiously swatting a metal bat at the snake like their life depends on it. (Cos it might? =3=)

"Thodi! Stop waving your bat at it! It will attack if you do!" The shout came from below.

"Like f***! What do you want me to do?!" The guy, Thodi, continues as he shouts at the other person.

Naneel, who had enough fun on her side, perches on the windowsill and calls to her pet, "Feifei. Come back now."

The snake hisses one more before slowly slithering back to it's owner.

Thodi and his companion were dumbfounded at the sight of a fair maiden sitting by the window. Her white hair sways under the moonlight making her look more ethereal. Coupled with her violet eyes and pale white porcelain skin she looks like an angel enjoying the starry sky.

She looks at Thodi before slipping into her room, without another word.
