Chapter 4: Annoyances Early Morning

Five in the morning, the sound of soft ringing fills the quiet air. A pale hand unfolds itself from the nest of plushies and pillows, searching for the disturbance of their sleep. Finding the phone, it pressed snooze and the silence returned.

A soft sigh was heard and a girl came out of her pillow plushie nests, her ivory hair gently cascades down. She yawns and stretch while making her way to the bathroom sleepily.

About half an hour, she walks out more awake and fully dressed. She was wearing her new school's uniform which is consisted with a long sleeved white shirt, a black vest, a hot pink necktie, pale gray skirt reaching mid-thigh, her black knee-socks, and black doll shoes. She then wore her favorite white fingerless gloves and carefully braided her hair which reaches just behind knees. Her eyes gleamed a bit as she study her new uniform. She takes the broach with the emblem of the school and attached it to her vest pockets.

After that, she gathers her stuff and checks the time on her phone. 5:58. Bit early but that's fine. She went to Feifei's cage and feeds her and left after checking everything's done.

{At the Cafeteria}

Naneel was sitting by the corner, enjoying her breakfast and solitude. The cafeteria had very few student at this time. Naneel took out her phone and chatted her little brother.

~Lark Meo~

Naneel: Meo?

Meo: Oh, morning sis. We just got back from the airport. At Country E right now.

Naneel was confused, but didn't show it on her face.

Naneel: Why?

Meo: Dad said Grandpa wanted to see him. So we'll be here in a bit before going back to Country B.

Naneel: Oh.

Meo: What time is it at your place? It's still 5:27 here.

Naneel checked the time again and looked over her schedule before replying.

Naneel: 6:28, two hours and twelve minutes before my first class.

Meo: I'm guessing you're eating rn, without brothers? Anyways, mom said to call later when you guys are there. But don't go skipping classes. Ok?

Naneel: Yes. Bye.

Meo: Bye, tell bros we said hi.

Naneel smiled slightly. She digs through her bag and found her airpods. Placing one in her ear, she plays a soothing music and continues eating. Not long after, someone sat on the seat in front of her. Ignoring them, she first finishes her food. Right when she did, two more people sat on either side of her and the temperature seemed to have dropped critically. Scoffing silently she recognized the two who sat beside her.

"Aivo Scrèlta." Her brothers said in unison. Politely greeting with a death glare fixed on the person in front. Curiously, Naneel's amethyst eyes peered a bit.

"Tsk. Who knew the two Cold Kings would be such a sis-con." Annoyance was laced on the person's tone as they greeted them with a death glare of their own. Their hazel eyes filled with annoyance.

"What do you want, Aivo?" Even more annoyed was her brother as he said the person's name.

"Well, Mr. Zylan Mahceil, as annoying as you are. I am assigned to tour your little sister here, as I was to both you annoying twins." Venom dripped as he spoke.

"Your intentions are well hidden. Not much would take notice. Are you sure there is no other reasons?" It's like there's sparks flying through their eyes.

Having enough, she took two sandwiches from their plates and stuffed them on her brothers' mouth, "Enough."

Still glaring, the two chewed on their food. Naneel stood up after seeing this, she slipped out of her seat and looked at Aivo, "Privacy. I need to talk to my brothers."

Aivo gazed at the girl before standing up, "I'll be outside, you better hurry because I hate waiting Ms. Palacio."

Ignoring his response, she took her phone and scrolled a bit before passing it to Xerelt. He accepted it and read the messages with Zylan. 2 minutes later, they passed it back to Naneel.

"Alright, we'll informed the guys. We should be there at 8 pm or something." Zylan says as he sips his coffee.

"On the other hand, watch it around Aivo. That guy's no good. If he tries anything, kick him in the balls." Zylan nods at Xerelt's advice.

Naneel only scoffed at them and left to meet with the 'no-good-guy'.
