Unto the Knights' Place

"Hey, what is up with this outfit?"

Right now, below a shining bright sunlight, Lumia and I were walking side to side in the streets of Saturinia Empire.

Lumia, wearing oversized yellow rugby shirt tucked in her fit pants, while having two swords placed in the scabbard that is attached at her back.

While me, I wore a gray overcoat in the outside and in my inside is a fit black pants, and a black shirt that has the crew neck style. It was first time for me to dress like this. Also my hair, back at Lumia's place, she really transformed me into this. My hair, my messy hair! It became too perfect.

She even force me to leave my scythe at her place and after some arguments, I agreed and hid it so that it will not be stolen.

Back to the topic, we are heading towards the Knight's state because of what she forced me earlier. It is not like because I agree to her decision, it just happen so in my current situation.

Yet, I was really annoyed in this situation that I had wished that we should just jump roof to roof to go there.

" Why?"

She asked as I talked to her with a complaining tone.

" It is attracting too much attention to me"

Yeah, and I hate it. Their glittering eyes looking towards me. It really felt like I was in the past, a happy yet disastrous eyes.

" Why would you complain? Doesn't men normally like that, or perhaps you only want woman to look at you? Then, I will tell the boys not to look" she chuckled saying this.

" Huh? Are you kidding me. All of them are annoying. Well, you are not entirely wrong of the men looking at me, they worsen my mood more."

It is true. But the men were not looking at me with happiness. It was either envy or jealousy. I have never felt this a long time because I had lived my life now full of screams and fears that I loved the most.

" But you are looking pretty handsome wearing that outfit. Maybe you can move the heart of this immobile Witch of the Knights"

She said it as if she was teasing me. Gosh, this woman really is beautiful. Can't wait to cut her soon as I recover.

" Huh? Are you an idiot? I am right here wishing to kill you right now. If only this was not my case"

I mockingly replied to because she was like mocking me too.

" So, what about the case of devouring fear? Are you not going after that?"

No matter what the talk, this girl really is cheeky. Always smiling.

No matter what you retort or even you get angry with her, she will just reply with honesty and a mix of teasing.

" You will feel fear after I beat you up. Don't worry." I retorted.

" Hehe, are you really confident about your lacking skills right now?"

I guess everyday while being injured, I will always hear her like this. So, I just need to get a use of it for now.

" Strategy is the way to kill you. I still have some weeks before a complete recovery. In that time I need to plan, right?"

With not being in an annoyed tone, I replied her with an unfazed face. No sign of being annoyed, happy, nor sad. It was just a blank reaction.

" Then,.... Good luck because after that you will experience pain"

Hm? She accepted that reaction that easily? Can't believe this girl, everything about her is making my blood boil. She also said I will experience pain. Will she beat the shit out of me, or Is she specifying some other conclusions?

" What do you mean?"

" Secret"

I clicked my tongue as hearing word.

Tsk. Now that I notice it, she is really weird. Talking, walking, and eating with a serial killer. Then saying some unbelievable stuffs.

Wait a minute, now that I think about it, she resented the people whom we fought separately yesterday. If the mastermind of that event was really the man who reached out his hands to Ashen. What could have happen between them. That man, all I can say and feel, is that he was kind, at the very least. I hate that.

Well, I want to know that but she told me to not talk or mention about the people yesterday. So, I guess a question I want to ask for a while now can be asked.

" By the way, Lumia. Are these both cursed weapon?"

This has been bothering me for a while now. The way these swords are designsd is different, it was shining. As she shown last night, one sword was a crystallized blue sword and now, the other one is a crystallized white sword. This is really not a normal swords.

" Oh, yeah, so that is the reason why you have been stealing glances at my swords. If you are wondering if they are a cursed weapon, I can say that it is a yes and no."

Who would not be stealing glances at that, they are indeed shining and the sun illuminating it makes it shine more.

" What do you mean?"

Being dumbfounded between the yes and no, I asked her.

" They are cursed weapons but for me they are a blessed sword."

It means that it is defined as a cursed weapon but she denies the word being cursed and turned it into a blessed sword.

So, these are really a curse weapon. My guess were right. These are really a big deal. But, they?

" You said they, right? Is it because these two swords are different to each other and are not alike?"

Having two cursed weapons. I remembered in my childhood that having two weapon is a betrayal to the first and we will be cursed if we anger one.

" Yes, all I can say is that they are both lovers who died but continued being together. These two are Luminos and Luminas"

Huh? So some lovers who both died are now reincarnated as a cursed weapons. I don't wanna talk about it if that two lovers is from two different families which hated each other. It is not because I hate them, I just wished that both of them escaped together leaving everyone and enjoy with themselves.

" So curse swords have growth that is giving them human feelings, huh?"

She only replied with a nod. But, this woman really is open for everything. Is she really that confident? Giving information to a person who wanted to kill her the most.

" You are thinking, right? 'why did I just gave that kind of information to you' like I said ,after you recover, no matter what happens to me. The outcome is already given. You will be the one who will receive too much pain."

" That is the part of you which I hated the most, being so honest then suddenly becomes mysterious"

" Good thing you understand my royalty"

Good thing, my ass. Everything about you, I don't really understand.

" You said to that curse weapons talk, right? So how about the two of them?"

I hope somehow I could talk to that scythe. Hate to admit it but I think I needed its power in order to defeat Lumia.

" Yeah from time to time, I talk to them in a world that only my consciousness exist."

So, that means I could also. If she can do it, I will to. Let us leave it like that. In any case, I hope she would spit out some secrets.

" Well, thanks for answering. I appreciate you this time."

" You are welcome"

Just be happy for now, Lumia. Keep that attitude because sooner or later, you will be suffering, crying and begging like the others. I will make it happen.

" Ah, how about your scythe. Why don't you meet with him?"

I guess rejecting would be bad or would make her suspicious. I will just affirm it.

"Huh? If I could do that, I would talk to him"

" Oh, we already arrived. We need to talk about this later after our goal."

Well, how could you say it our goal if you only forced me? Shesh this woman is really like a fire boiling my liquids.

Right now, we are in front of a very large gate, an entrance to a part of the empire which is called the Knight's state. It was a very massive place.
