Chapter 4

Chase cleansed Drew's wound with hydrogen peroxide and betadine then he put a gauze pad, taped with a microphore, and put an elastic bandage to her shoulder to secure the wound.

Drew was a little awkward on their position. She's sitting on the couch while Chase is beside him, seriously treating her wound. She's used to men because her team were mostly men and in the military, there were more male than female.

Accidental touching, holding, and other body contacts are unavoidable.

But Chase exudes something she can't name. When Chase would unintentionally touch her skin, she will become stiff and felt a tingling sensation.

Chase was feeling the same. It is his first time to treat a woman. In his military trainings and missions, he used to treat his teammates and other military men. Whenever he touches Drew's skin, he felt tensed.

"There! Let's go." Chase said smiling. Drew gave him an angry squint remembering on how he commanded her team but still said, "Thank you" before stomping her going out the camp. Chase shake his head while grinning.

"What are you doing?" Drew asked when Chase hopped in her BMW R 1250 GS STYLE HP.

"Hitching! I don't have my ride." Chase said. Drew rolled her eyes. If only they were not in a hurry, she will kick this jerk's ass off her bike. Because of the case of the sniper rifle hanging on Drew's back, Chase can't hold onto Drew's waist or even her shoulders so he just balanced himself.

"Woah! Can't you be a little gentle!" Chase said when Drew suddenly stepped on her bike's accelerator. Drew smiled evilly.

"Enjoy the ride!" Drew said and to Chase's horror, he felt that he left his soul behind.

"We're in position." Bravo said.

"Coming." Alpha replied.

"Epsilon aim your target." Alpha commanded her team.

"By the way, Senior, what will be your code?" Bravo asked while busy aiming his rifle.

"It depends on your Alpha. She gave all of you your codes so I'm leaving it to her." Chase said positioning his rifle.

"Concentrate!" Alpha said a little irritated.

"Yessss, Boss!" Chase said teasing Drew.

"Asshole!" Drew said inwardly. The rest of the Epsilon can't avoid smiling.

"Aimed, man on the left window." Echo said.

"Man on the right is on me." Delta reported.

"Got man beside the cashier area." Charlie followed.

"Okay! Mini mini mini mo." Bravo said choosing his target that made the rest laughed. Bravo was the one who's making the mission a little light. He's always cracking jokes to lighten the mood of his teammates.

"Got one at the back door." Bravo said. "Senior?" Bravo said.

"Aimed, two in front door." Chase said that made the three men whistled.

"Woah! Two birds in one stone!" Delta said admiring their new recruit.

"Show off." Drew said whispering but the whole team heard it and just pretended they didn't hear anything. Their Alpha will surely punish them if they will comment something about it. Chase smiled.

"Alpha to Omega...Alpha to Omega... we're in position. Locked and loaded." Drew said.

"Roger that Alpha, loud and clear." The operator replied.

"Ready, Epsilon?" Drew asked.

"Ready!" All spoke at once. They mentally count into five.

"Fire!" Alpha said and all their rifles shot.

The hostages were screaming and the bank robbers were startled because their guns were destroyed. Police hurriedly entered the bank and put handcuffs on the men's hands. Because all of them were in shocked, they weren't able to fight back.

"What in the world happened?" One of the robbers asked. The police only smiled.

"It's our secret." The police said and the robber was in dazed.

The Epsilon members met below the buildings they chose for their positions in targeting. They all made high five to each except for Chase and Drew who just looked at each other. Chase smiled at Drew while the latter only raised her brow.

"How did you do it senior?" Bravo asked excitedly. The rest of the Epsilon were also waiting for his answer.

"Experience." Chase said smiling.

"Really?" Lou asked not covering her admiration for Chase.

"Yeah." Chase said.

"Can you teach me how?" Lou said with her twinkling eyes.

"Sure, no problem." Chase said that made Lou smiled happily.

"Let's go back!" Drew said annoyed with Chase and Lou's exchange of flirting words.

The team started walking where their bikes and vehicle were parked. Chase followed Drew hoping he could hitch again her bike.

"Where are you going?" Drew asked with her raised brow.

"Your bike?" Chase said innocently.

"There's the ARV, there's still vacant seats inside." Drew said pointing the car. Chase scratches his head and walked towards the vehicle.

"Come, sit here." Lou said pulling Chase to sit beside her. Before Chase closes the car's door, he waved at Drew and the latter made an angry squint that made him smiled.

Drew decide to pay a visit to his father at his office to deal with him about the new recruit. When she entered the military camp, all the staffs saluted to her when she will pass by them.

She entered her father's room and was surprised seeing Lieutenant General Henry Garcia inside. She saluted both of the highest ranking officials. After paying her respect, she gave a kiss to his father and to his father's best friend.

General Bautista and Lieutenant General Garcia studied, trained, and came from the same military unit.

"How are you doing, cupcake?" General Bautista said teasing her daughter.

"Dad!" Drew said faking her anger.

"Good job again." General Bautista said with his proud demeanor.

"Thanks, Dad." Drew said smiling.

"Hello there, Uncle Henry! How are you? How's auntie?" Drew said smiling at Lieutenant General Garcia.

"We're doing better especially now that our son is already living with us but for some important reason, he is on a mission again but I'm still happy that he's near to us." Lieutenant General Garcia said.

"Your Auntie Mildred misses you a lot. From the time you took over Epsilon, you never had the chance to visit her." Lieutenant General Garcia said.

"Tell her I'll visit her when our Chief gives us a vacation." Drew said looking at her dad. General Bautista only shrugged his shoulders.

"How's the new recruit?" General Bautista asked making her daughter frowned.

"What's with that face?" General Bautista asked looking at his best friend meaningfully.

"He's a pain in the ass!" Drew said. The two comrades smiled.

"Just like you?" General Bautista said smiling to her daughter.

"I can say he's better that the others but he's full of himself. An arrogant jerk!" Drew said that made Lieutenant General Garcia laughed.

Chase and the rest of the Epsilon arrived at the camp. Before entering the house, Chase bit his tongue.

"Damn!" Chase said tasting the blood.

"What happened?" Lou asked hearing his swearing.

"Someone is talking behind my back." Chase said that made Lou curious.

"Just bear with my son. He's really a jerk but when it comes to work, he's the best. I can guarantee that." Lieutenant General said proudly that made Drew opened her eyes and mouth widely.
