Chapter 14

Nylon is a small restaurant inside the City L's military camp. It is known for the delicious meals they serve.

Upon entering the restaurant, the men in uniform inside the place recognized Chase and saluted him with respect. Chase did the same but he was annoyed with their glances on Drew.

"They were in the news, right?" "She's more beautiful in person." "Look at that body, so sexy." These were the words coming from mouths of the men in uniform at the restaurant. Chase stopped himself from punching those men because he will only make it worst.

Maddog and his team were busy training so they were not able to see the news.

"Big sis, you're still not answering my question. Are you Maximus' girlfriend." Maddog asked.

"We're only comrades, we're in the same team in City C." Drew said.

"What!? You already came back? Why didn't you chose us? How dare you!?" Maddog said faking his anger.

"It's a long story." Chase said.

"Let's order and after eating, we're going." Chase continued.

"That fast?" Maddog asked.

"Yeah, the General wanted to talk to us." Chase replied.

"Anyway, we'll have more time to catch up." Maddog said that made Chase's forehead creased.

"What do you mean?" Chase asked curiously.

"It's a secret." Maddog said.

After lunch, Chase and Drew bid their farewell to the group.

"See you soon Maximus." Maddog said.

"Do your work properly." Chase reminded Maddog.

"Yes, Boss!" Maddog said with an OK sign on his hand.

Chase wore his helmet and started the engine. He signaled Drew if they will have a race but the latter shook her head as NO. Chase laughed.

"Hi, dad!" Drew said while entering her father's office.

"Uncle Henry, you're also here?" Drew said seeing the man sitting on the couch.

Drew gave them a peck while Chase saluted.

"How was the ride?" Frank asked his daughter.

"It's fine dad. Chase's bikes were really gorgeous." Drew said that made the men smiled.

Even though, Drew is the leader of the elite group of City C sometimes, when it comes to bikes and cars, she's forgetting everything.

"How was City L?" Henry asked his son.

"Same as before." Chase answered.

"How about Maddog's team?" Henry asked again.

"Importunate as they were before but I think they doing their job well." Chase replied.

"The video was already deleted and and the news was taken care of but still, you should be careful. You know what I'm talking about. Your faces were seen everywhere and we're not sure if those guys were working alone or they're members of a bigger group." Frank said calmly but worries about her daughter so much.

"You're known to be police officers on that video. We already told the police station to keep it as a secret but we should not be calm about that." Henry said.

"Every time you're doing your missions, don't ever forget your military mask because if you do, that's the end of Epsilon." Frank said.

City C's men in uniform have hidden Epsilon's identity very well. They have promised not to tell anyone who are the Epsilon members.

All elite force members' identities were well hidden from City A to City Z because of security purposes. When dealing with their missions, their dealing with either the small criminals up to the big catch criminals. If their faces will be expose, their lives will be in danger because they will be hunted.

"Next week, City L's elite force will be here. You'll have a joined training." Frank said that made Drew's brows raised.

"But why?" Drew asked curiously.

"Because their head trainer is with you." Frank said looking at Chase. Drew looked at Chase but the latter only shrugged his shoulders.

"What if there'll be unexpected missions?" Drew asked.

"Then, it's much better. You'll be helping them and vice versa." Henry said.

"But you know that Epsilon work on their own." Drew said.

"You have to learn how to cooperate with others because maybe one day we need to join forces with them for bigger problems." Frank said and the only thing Drew could do is sigh.

"What if City L will have the unexpected mission?" Drew said trying to persuade her father. "It's far from here." Drew continued.

"Helicopter." Frank said. Drew sighed again.

"We've already talked about it and all the higher officials agreed. Ones this joined training will be successful, it will be carry out through all the cities." Frank said.

"That would be all. Tell your team to be ready. And City L elite force will stay at your house." Frank said.

"What?" Drew said.

"Is that clear?" Frank said in his military tone.

Drew knew his father. When he uses his military tone, his order should be followed.

Drew and Chase stood up and saluted. "Sir, yes, Sir."

"Why didn't you tell me that your the trainer of Maddog's team." Drew asked while they're walking towards their bikes.

"I thought it's not a big deal. Besides, I already resigned as their team trainer because I already accepted being part of Epsilon." Chase said.

"You knew about this joined training?" Drew said stopping in front of Chase.

"Not at all. Since, you said that, I remember what Maddog had said. See you soon, right?" Chase said. Thinking of it, Drew spoke.

"Yeah, and he also said that you have more time to talk about joining Epsilon and not them." Chase nodded.

"But I think they didn't know you as the Alpha." Chase said.

"Yeah, you're right, because if he knew me, he will not treat me like a while ago." Drew said.

"Anyway, they are nice and well behaved but when it comes to work, they rock." Chase said smiling.

"We'll see about that." Drew said with a wicked smile. Chase shook his head.

"This little witch is planning something." He said inwardly.

Before going home, they stopped by a grocery because of Dylan's beer thing. Drew directly go to the beer section to get what they needed. Chase roamed around to look for his needs. A group of girls saw Chase and they were feeling romantic excitement.

"He's so handsome." "He so sexy and hot." Those were the words than can be heard from them.

"Let's take a bet. Whoever gets his name and number, will be free from the dormitory's chores." One of the girls said.

"Deal!" All of them spoke at once.

The first girl..."Hello mister. Me and my classmates have a project, we need to interview the customers here. If they are satisfied with the services and supplies of this grocery. Is it okay?" She said but to her dismay, Chase only smiled and walked away from her. Her friends laughed at her.

Their laughters were paused when they heard a scream and it was followed by a gun fire. The people inside the grocery also scream and hide themselves.

Chase and Drew became alert. They looked where the fire was heard and they saw a man near the cashier. He shot the manager who's trying to press the emergency button. Luckily, he was only shot in his shoulders.

The man is pointing his gun on the cashier.

"Give me the money!" The man said looking outside.

"Okay, okay, please, don't shoot." The cashier said with trembling hands.

Chase and Drew moved in different directions. Because they've use their guns a while ago, they were empty now. They only got their fists. Drew observed the man and her guts is telling her that this man is only a newbie.

"Sir." Drew said that made the man became alert and pointed the gun to her. Chase was startled.

"What are you doing, Drew!?" Chase said inwardly.

The cashier immediately press the emergency button.
