Lie

Miron still continuing his role-playing, looked at the boss as if he hadn't yet come back from what had happened to him.

“What?”

“The terrible shock that happened earlier that caused this.” Seloky continued, pointing with an imperious finger at the deep crack.

The arriving young man glanced cautiously, wonderfully imitated at the indicated crack.

“But I don't know anything about it myself.” He finally answered. “There I was, trying to escape, and falling into the ravine, and this great giant was chasing me, destroying everything in his path. At one point he grabbed me and hugged me so tightly that I passed out. I have no idea what happened next, but something or perhaps someone caused a huge jolt, freeing me from that deadly embrace, and devastating everything around us. That's all I can remember.”

“I can see that. And what could that thing or person have been, as you said, that caused such a disaster? You didn't see it.”

Miron shook his head innocently.
