Interlude (Raven's Additions Part 1)

Meanwhile, back in Altissia...

' Things are heating up in The Four Nations all around the globe but I can't just sit by and watch the plot I've already seen no matter how fun it may be. I can always watch the recordings later but for now, I have my own things to attend to...'

"Sir, I hope you are doing well"... My robot butler is on my screen, video calling me while I sit leisurely on my sofa within my secluded mansion in Altissia.

"I'm fine, why are you calling me again? Is it the infrastructure department? I thought I finished my deal with them yesterday..."

"Yes sir, it was Blue Star's infrastructure department. They simply wanted to reiterate their happiness with the arrangements and also congratulate you on your successful creation and popularity on the internet..."

With an exasperated sigh I respond "well, I see, you hang up first and only call me if there is something important..."

Standing up from the sofa to stretch, I then make my way outside. I start to walk the streets of the now empty (of Travelers) Altissia since none of the beta testers seems to have died yet. ' This is ideal for my next set of plans but I need to hurry before they come out of that world...'

While walking I contemplate the deals and phone calls I've made over the past few days. I'm truly surprised by the information network the Oscars (well I) have but I guess money speaks wonders when it comes to gathering intelligence.

After the opening of Altissia for beta testers, a meeting of high-level officials was held and as a result, no one in the meeting saw any harm my creation(s) could have on their interests.

Not that I care but it would be troublesome to safeguard my 'real' body while in VR, it's doable with my wealth and protection but too tedious. This was a real concern of mine since the last thing people with wealth and power want is to lose their wealth and power.

Luckily, the high levels don't seem to care yet about the prospects of my world, something highlighted in their meeting: Other than the novelty and original ideas, it doesn't affect them since I don't charge money for entrance in Altissia and all Travelers have to pass a screening so not many people will migrate.

Based on what my informant in the meeting said, due to the harsh nature of The Four Nations shown on streams, many will even shy away from Altissia. That being said, the streaming companies are ecstatic that my world is a success.

The biggest problem I faced was solved yesterday and that was the infrastructure committee of Blue Star. They see some potential in my multiverse and since they "maintain the Block Chain" they feel as though they deserve a piece of the pie if there is some to eat.

While I know for certain they can't touch me without affecting the whole blockchain, I don't find their claims to be completely illegitimate so I don't mind throwing them a bone for their service.

So, after signing a one-year secrecy agreement with their higher-ups located in BSU, I explained the plans I am currently (at this very moment) going to carry out and they were happy knowing they get one percent of all gambling profits of Heaven's Arena. It's not much to me but they were happy.

In good faith, I also shared with them a complete document outlining casinos since I have that information from my Percy Jackson IP archive and, I'm not planning on building casinos in Altissia so a mutually beneficial partnership and strong backer is always good to have.

I shake these thoughts out of my head as I head South of the Gate of Worlds to what will now be known as the "Altissia Entertainment District for Travelers", a section of Origin City that I left relatively bare until now since this plan has been brewing for quite some time...
