Interlude (Raven's Additions Part 2)

{Author's Note: We're finally at >15,000 words today! If you want two chapters today show some love and drop those stones! Also, I want to reiterate once more (Yes I know, this will be the last time I ask in the near future) if anyone can design a cover image for this novel. Proper credit will be given!}

I think over my plans carefully once more before I start construction. Those who "Rule" their VRs cannot make "fundamental'' or "earth-shaking" changes to their realities but what I'm planning is not so grand.

Heading South of the "Gate of Worlds", going down the right side of the road I stopped after arriving in front of a few empty plots.

I first added a 1:1 replica of a few iconic places, the first of which was the "Restaurant Yukihira" from Food Wars. I gave an assigned Sereph the required skills (I obtained from the Food Wars IP) and let them prepare the shop.

Following Yukihira's restaurant, many different places started to pop up... Ichiraku Ramen, Inn from SAO, coffee shop from Tokyo Ghoul, Jasmine Dragon, and more... I spaced them throughout the entire district, assigned Serephs with requisite skills, and even placed easter eggs.

Even though the Travelers who visit these shops, at first, will not understand them, in the future when they go to that IP world it will sink in. For example, I put a picture of "Team 7" in the back corner of the Ichiraku.

I just finished building another hotel (since Travelers can't own property here they can only rent) when I came to the large, two-story building where I plan to add an arcade with many games based on some IPs from my archive. For example, Plants vs Zombies was inserted in the form of twenty tablets placed to the side of the drink bar.

Of course, one hour in the arcade will cost one Raven Coin. Oh? What is a Raven Coin you might ask?

Well, that's easy: Everything (with one exception) in Altissia that requires currency can and must be paid for using my currency, Raven Coins. All Travelers, while in Altissia, must use Ravens as currency during transactions between one another as well.

Ravens are awarded primarily after finishing a "dive" into one of my worlds. For example, if you lived a good life for a year in The Four Nations, but didn't impact the story at all and had little influence, you will be awarded approx. 500 Ravens for the minimum effort.

Of course, more Ravens will be awarded for a longer time in the world, more effect, better performance, etc... Anyways, the guardians of each world handle performance evaluations so rewarding Ravens is not my responsibility. Like any good leader knows, handing tedious and cumbersome work to subordinates is the proper way...

The final two "cherries on top" are the Origin Pavilion and Heaven's Arena. The Arena is a 1:1 replica from HxH and was pretty easy on my mind to build seeing as it's only a high-tech building. It will be structured the same way as well with floor masters and the like.

It is finally time for me to enable Travelers with the ability to obtain the supernatural powers that make many of my future worlds (and the current world) so alluring. Thus, Travelers can now use all abilities or skills or information you've 'acquired' in my worlds after "unlocking" them in the Origin Pavilion.

The simple explanation from the Pavilion is that with enough Raven Coins, one could obtain anything (absolutely anything) from the IP they went to as long as they have personally experienced it "in-game".

Wanna earthbend outside of The four Nations? As long as you were an earthbender in the world you can purchase whatever level you acquired (simple, master, metal bending, etc..) and the same goes for other supernatural skills from other worlds.

There are plenty of rules such as no fighting outside of the gyms or Heavans Area, no taking powers from different worlds to each other (yet), etc.... but I will not get into those.

That being said, I don't expect universal peace in Altissia. It would be impossible now that I'm opening up 'superpowers' to Origin City but a violation of the law if caught by the Seraphs, will result in harsh punishment. Moreover, if the crime is too extreme, I'll take action personally (even without you being caught since nothing escapes my view in the world, I simply agreed not to intervene normally and "Rule").

To explain this fantastical system further: Do you like an instrument or song from a world? Clothes or weapons? Lucky enough to get Iroh's Tea recipe? All you have to do is go to Origin's Pavilion to "unlock" that item, acquired skill, or information and you will then acquire it for a price...

The only exception to the 'Raven Coins Rule' is at Heaven's Arena. If you are outside of my multiverse, for example, a simple citizen of BSU who is a gambler, you can place bets remotely while watching the streamed duels held in the arena. If inside my multiverse, you use Raven Coins for betting, simple.

Finally being done after what felt like days of continuous work, and ensuring Seraphs at the Gate of Worlds knew to direct Travelers to the new district after existing The Four Nations, I retreated home to start planning on the next IP to bring into this world...
