New Base and Guild

After riding on the boat for some time, I began to feel more comfortable and the tension in my virtual shoulders relaxed as I sighed in relief...

"Hooo, that was crazy, I can't believe I did that...I'm so fuc[ing awesome!!!..."

....

While riding in the boat leisurely, Greg began to read through chat, and the number of posts regarding his fight with the now cemented "Griefers Guild" was astonishing...many have had bad experiences with this guild (which continues to grow daily), and are looking for something or someone to take them down...

This idea caused Greg to look dazedly into the distance trying to figure out if his thoughts were viable but, as he glanced in the distance, what he saw was simply too breathtaking to continue thinking...

Spread out before him is the tip of a peninsula....there was nowhere for him to dock near the peninsula since the land was so high, it was a straight cliff up to the top...

What set Greg's 'Builder Mind' at full speed was that the point of the land mass was covered in a flower field biome, and sixty meters from the peak of the peninsula is a small island that shot up into the sky; an individual mountain with the same height as the adjacent peninsula-tip yet not connected.

"Hehe...I guess this answers my question...why would I just happen upon the perfect spot if it wasn't destined...."

...(1 Week Later)...

Located in a corner of the entertainment district in Altissia, sitting just above the closest waterway is a rinky-dink inn named "The Bee and Barb". Within the inn is a group of men and women who have secretly reserved this venue from the Seraphs for a couple of hours due to its remoteness...

The atmosphere is tense and nervous as this is the first in-person meeting of the newly formed Crafter's Guild but there is still a cohesiveness not seen in the Griefers.

Those here all had terrible experiences with the Griefers Guild or support 'the cause' as the goal of this new Guild is to build and maintain a haven in Minecraft for people like them...They're not comprised of mostly fighters (like their adversaries) but are some of the most creative and resourceful people now Diving in Altissia...

At the head of the table, the once meek and insecure Greg Watson sits. He has gained some confidence due to his exploits and the backing of his newfound guildmates...he is the proud Guild Leader of the Crafters.

Suddenly, he stood up and began to speak to his comrades...

..........

As the crowd hushed Greg inquired "Leah, has the Inn and the surrounding area been cleared? Are all of our invited members here yet?..."

"Yes Guild Leader, they have all arrived but there was a problem. Two spies from the Griefers were discovered by one of our stationed sentries and killed while trying to track down our guild's location in Altissia..."

Greg's face darkened and asked quickly "The Seraphs? Did they approach? Mr. Oscars would obviously know what's happening in Origin City..."

"The Seraphs seem to have acquiesced to such Guild battles. They most likely won't bother us if the fighting is only between Guilds and those uninvolved are not affected. Moreover, we didn't disturb the surface life of the city so as long as we keep the main fighting in Minecraft, Mr. Oscars shouldn't mind..."

Nodding in understanding after some thought, Greg then spoke again "and the spies? how skilled were they?..." he needs to get a better understanding of the strength of the opposition to know what they're up against.

"Well, that's the thing...both spies were taken out in one quick shot by Rango so we didn't get too much information on them but based on their bodies, they were known members of the Griefers..."

......

Bodies in Altissia were like bodies in the real world. They would rot and decay...obviously, Mr. Oscars wants Altissia to be like the real world as much as possible. To that end, if you die in Altissia, you are banned from Raven's entire Multiverse for one year before having the ability to apply again, even then you're not guaranteed another spot...

Nobody wants to die in Altissia, that's the biggest fear of Divers now...to be taken away from such a wonderful and novel place just like that.... to many it's more impactful than dying in the real world.

......

Leah continued to explain, "The first spy was a very successful TFNs veteran like Rango, he was a swordmaster's butler in that world so he had some skill after purchasing it from the Pavilion. However, the second was completely invisible according to Rango..."

"I can get him from his station if you need a full report but according to him, if it was not for him seeing "swirling particles" and "kicked up dust" with his inhumanly good sight inherited from his time as a Yuyan Archer, he wouldn't have spotted the 'invisible man'..."

"We theorize that this could be an unknown potion in Minecraft that hasn't appeared on the forums yet due to the Griefers hiding the information..."

To her explanation, Greg nodded in understanding and responded "no need to get Rango, he's invaluable at his job, we need this meeting to go off without a hitch. Just have him continue to keep watch.....he has the latest known Greifer member information right?..."

............

As time went on, the meeting finally moved to its main topic. The construction of the Crafter's Guild Hall atop the island near the peninsula Greg found. Once the plans were made, everyone was given the coordinates and was told to make their way there ASAP without being followed. They need to get settled quickly if they're gonna battle the ever growing Griefers...
