Guild Wars

A few weeks passed and the Griefers continued to grow and they even took over a large part of The Nether while on their conquest. If their progress was to be described by your average MMORPG player back on earth, it would be explained simply as orcish or barbaric.

There's no structure or reasoning, they demolish everyone and everything not on their side with the sole goal of getting more achievements and items with the hopes of getting more Raven Coins on their return...they want to be the first to complete the game, as Mr. Oscars mentioned and want a firm foothold in both Minecraft (source of income) and Altissia (their home).

During this time, the Crafter Guilds Castle has been constructed in MC. In addition to the castle and defenses, there is a long bridge connecting them to the mainland (Peninsula). The castle was bulky and was tan-colored with blue conical-shaped roofs.

Many fortifications and defenses could be seen on the inner and outer walls such as the numerous creative and deadly traps littered throughout all entry points.

Chests were located every so often on the walls with bows, arrows, etc... They even had the newest creation from the alchemical group (those who pursue completing the alchemical tech tree in MC), the Damage Potion.

All in all, this progress showed the dedication of these members as none of them have logged out of MC in all this time. They only have a few designated people go back to Altissia to check their stations there to ensure their guild members are not being found out or followed to their hides...Rango is mostly to thank for that as he stayed in Altissia, not entering Minecraft to help until The Guild is established enough to protect themselves in both worlds.

...

After the castle was built and the members of the Crafter's Guild were assembled (those who could make it here and were not scattered to the far ends of the MC world), they geared up using Guild resources and set their spawn to the barrack's beds in the castle. The Guild Leader had an urgent mission for them...

When the twenty-five or so members of the Guild were assembled in the main hall, the guild leader (Greg) and vice-guild leader (Leah) approached the highly geared and tense group of non-combatants turned soldiers.

"Hello everyone, be at ease...I know you all are anxious but don't worry, for better or worse this world is much more forgiving than TFNs. Death doesn't hurt as much and neither does pain...I trust that you will consider this and perform to your fullest in this mission..."

Seeing as the group's backs became straighter and eyes firmer, Greg continued "Now, for your mission...the urgency comes from the following discovery; the size of The Nether dimension is much smaller than the overworld. Why does this matter you say? well, that's simple..."

"The size differentiation is 1:8 meaning that if you travel 1km in the nether and build a new portal there, you will appear 8 km from where you were in the overworld. The coordinate system can be used to take advantage of this fact..."

This group of people was some of the smartest Divers currently available, so they immediately understood their mission and the gravity.

"Sir, if I may?..." one of the women in the front of the group asked...

Greg Nodded in approval and listened to the lady ..."So our mission is to enter the Nether from a portal created at our castle, then secure the portal on the other end to keep the Griefers from invading from the Nether? ..."

"That's right...our spies just discovered that the Greifer's guild has finally located our castle and planned to use the Nether dimension (and the 1:8 size differentiation) to attack. They're on their way now..."

"Before they arrive, we need to build a stronghold. Your team will enter the portal built in the secure portal room within the castle and guard the building team we will send in for stronghold construction..."

"Any questions?..."

I want to take this chance to thank Technoblade for all he has done. He was a big part of my high school years and I will miss his content. Rest in Peace man, we will miss you.
