Disturbed

Lisa's POV

My day wasn't as bad as I thought it would go. Maybe because I had my best friend by my side so I felt nothing could go wrong. I smiled as I walked into the apartment I and Ann shared. Yep,I don't live with my mom,I'm a big girl after all. I only visit her on weekends so she could have company. She wasn't much of a social person,just like me.

I lazily dropped my books on table and fell flat on the bed. Ann has ditched me and went with Ethan. I'm beginning to think he'll end up snatching the only friend I have away from me and I'm gonna kill him if he does that.

Yeah,I was back to my over thinking. I need to do something about it soon. I walked to the kitchen and picked up an apple. I'll wait for Ann to come back and cook or we order pizza or maybe I'll just make something today.

On a second thought I'll wait for Ann. I chuckled. Mom was right,I'm so damn lazy to do anything.

I sat on the bed and picked up a book to go through but as usual I fell asleep.

Where am I? I mumbled to myself. Last thing i recall was dozing off on the bed. How did I end up in this place?I looked around hoping to see another human but found none.

Everywhere was dark and cold and a mist surrounding me. To say I was scared was an understatement. I was totally freaking out.

"Hello" I called out but no response. I stumbled upon a tree at least that's what i thought but i felt cold hands hold me and I backed away in fear only to find a young man in front of me.

"Hello" he said and bared his fangs at me.

I woke up with sweat on my forehead. I was panting like I just ran a race,not like I even cared to run or exercise at all. I was tired of these nightmares. Why do I have to dream of things that weren't real but felt so real at once.

I blame mom for making me sit throughout the episodes of vampire diaries. This must be why I dreamt so often about vampires.

I walked to the kitchen hoping to find an aspirin for my headache. I gulped down a glass of water and searched the cupboard. Finding what I seek,I took the aspirin and washed it down my throat with another glass of water.

I felt my head with my hand.

Maybe I was over reacting. Besides I watched that movie years ago before senior high why has it decided to haunt me?

The door opened and Ann walked in.

"Hey girlfriend." she said in her bubbling tone.

I mumbled."hi"

"Cmon,I'm not that late am I ?"

I glared at her and took a look at my watch. It was past seven. I slept for three hours!and it felt like few minutes.

"It's fine Ann. Did you enjoy your date."

"Yep."she said in glee. On a normal day I would have loved to know how it went and make her spill every detail but not tonight.

I was still lost in my own weird world. I had no idea she was already talking about her date until she shook me.

"Lisa are you okay?"she asked looking worriedly at me.

I shrugged."I'm fine Ann. Don't I look fine?"

She pouted." You don't look fine. Besides I feel like you haven't heard a word I've said so far."

"You had a good evening I'm sure of that. You kissed Ethan that's hundred percent on me. I'm sure about that too."

She stared at me wide eyed. I shrugged."what?"

"You were listening after all." She smiled.

"Yea.." Honestly I wasn't. I just guessed it. But I can't tell her that,she'll feel bad. She had always listened to me when I spoke about high school and all that happened.

My friends and the fun we had.. Oh yea I had friends in high school. I was kinda like the big deal back then but everything changed when...

"Lisa.."

I heard my name again and stared stupidly at the red haired in front of me.

"Are you sure you are fine?"she asked

I nodded."sure."

Here I am caught up in my own world again. I shrugged dropping the glass I forgot I was holding. "Just make dinner already Ann I'm starving."

"Let's just order then." She said when she heard my stomach growl. I laughed a bit and she smiled. "Okay then I'll get my purse." I said walking away. I fetched my purse and felt a cold wind blow into the room. I closed the window and ran my hands over arms.

Ann was on the phone when I got downstairs. Placing an order probably. I motioned to her and dropped my purse on the table and headed back to the room to take a shower. I reeked of sweat.

I was in the shower when Ann called out." Hurry up lazy,pizza is here!"

"Did you order sushi?" I called out to her.

"Yea.. He'll take a while." She popped her head through the door. "Get out of there Missie."

"I just got in." I whined.

"Its up to thirty minutes."

"You sound like my mom." I said taking the towel and shooting her a glare. She laughed. "I'll let her on on that."she walked out of the room.

Feeling refreshed from my shower and dressed in a flannel shirt and loose pants I walked to the living room and met her seated over a large pizza. I grinned and bounced on the seat beside her. She chuckled.

I took a slice of the pizza and popped open the can of cranberry juice as she turned on the television.

"Wanna watch some movies? I've got a pile of CDs in my room."she asked.

"Yep." I said popping the p.

She ran to the room and returned with a carton.

I laughed at her." You must really love watching movies on DVD."

She shot me a glare. I laughed." I'm not sorry for saying you are old fashioned."

"Take that back!" She chuckled and stared at me menacing.

I grinned and shook my head."Nope. Said already."

She sat beside me after rummaging through the carton and held a CD." I love this movie. Let's watch it."

I took it from her and stared at it. Twilight. It was about vampires and werewolves. I felt cold run down my spine." No!" I blurted out.

"Why? It's a great movie."

"Pick a movie other than vampires or I'll go upstairs and take this big pizza along and eat it all by myself." I threatened lightly.

She frowned at me." Fine."

She finally settled for a love movie and I smiled at her." Good girl."
