Spring flowers are blooming, and I'm climbing out of my hole below the house. I go out to stretch my legs and get my body some exercise after 4 months of minimal activity. While gently trotting to my designated hangout spot to finally get something other than flatbread in my body, I relish in the fresh air in my thawed lungs and sunshine on my skin giving me some needed vitamin D. I am pretty sure I have a deficiency of every vitamin.

Soon after I get to my little spot, I go to a large tree and dig up some dirt next to its exposed roots, exposing two whittled sticks with hooks on them. I stored them here for no particular reason, but just knowing that wouldn't be able to use them at all during the winter I had to put them somewhere.

Anyway, for now, my main goal is to get a full set of grassed-weaved clothing, I'm kinda tired of my not-so-low hanging balls to be blowing in the wind. After washing them off in a nearby puddle, I sit under a tree and start to weave some grass with the rinsed crochet hooks. I've had a lot of time to contemplate and correct my crocheting technique. Going at a pace faster than ever, I'm halfway done with a pair of underwear that will gratefully be used soon after its completion.

The threat of winter is no longer looming over my head so I don't have to focus on the warmest piece of clothing and I can now make the more convenient pieces. After eating leaves, weeds, some flatbread, and a good night's sleep, I finish the admittedly uncomfortable underwear the next day. Hey, It is still better than nothing. Now with my balls not hanging out anymore, I can comfortably start training. The VERY basics.

Holding a straight arm plank with a push-up here and there, squats, and finally walking. As many as I can while still having enough energy to get back to the house or more specifically the hole underneath. All that while weaving and eating between is a healthy workout for a one-year-old, If my count is correct then my first birthday in Earth years will be in a week.

.

"Happy birthday to me, Happy birthday to me, woohoo" I sing to myself in a deadpan voice as I wearily lay under a tree. It's my birthday but no one's gonna celebrate, obviously, but honestly, I don't have time to celebrate. I could slack for a day but that would be worthless, I mean good job to myself for surviving a year in these conditions, but why waste the effort when I already celebrated 100 times in my head? If I remember every thought I think then why waste more effort, It seems like enough celebrating for me, especially since no one's celebrating it with me.

Enough on that, in this past week, I've finished a pair of shorts and am a fourth of the way done with a pair of pants. My body is soar but it's not that bad at all if compared to the training for walking. I can feel myself getting stronger in real time which is either cause I'm a baby and I started so weak or because of these bodies, maybe both, I can't tell. Either way. It's a very strange feeling but an enjoyable one. Well, today is my rest day, right now I'm going through some relatively intense stretches, as I've stated before they are very important, but further than that I have a plan for when I get bigger on how I'm gonna train. Simply put acrobatics. Gymnastics, parkour, and calisthenics. This type of training is by far the most versatile and also useful for almost any situation even if just a little. It is also the easiest to branch off of and change to fit your needs. For example, if I need to switch to a more powerlifter style later on, it is a good base to start at. I also don't have many other options since I have no weights or advanced equipment. I already have martial arts, which could be better but I would need a training partner for that, which frankly I'm pretty alone in this world for now.

The most efficient option for me and the most accessible is acrobatics. Which all starts with basic bodyweight workouts and deep stretches. Soon I should be accustomed to these exercises and I won't need to take so many rest days to maximize growth. I only rushed walking so much because I was on a time limit, and looking back it did indeed save my life. I would have surely died that winter if I had started walking even a week later. Though with that, I admit it was not the most efficient workout program, I was panicking and I overdid it a bit, and I'd prefer not to do it again.

I've still been practicing walking, and more recently, running, and it is paying off. I haven't fallen while running yet, I'm taking my time but I'm still progressing fast. I can't run for that long but that will be fixed with time, but once I believe I can run for a decent amount of time at my max pace and not fall, I've decided to take a bit of a chance. I will follow and do my best to shadow him for a day when he goes out 'shopping' and brings back bread and water. I predict that it to take about another month to a month and a half, but for me, that will be no problem, if I've done one thing since I have gotten here it is work hard. So why would I stop now? Just one more goal on my list to get out of this hell hole.

.

It's been a week since I set my sights on a specific man and in that time my training has gone as well as it could have. Small strides here and there but nothing major in that regard. For my weaving in my free time, I have finally completed my pants and now I am working on a massive 3-layer thick blanket. I can't think of any other necessities for now so it is time to think ahead. For next winter, I don't want to rely on spacing out for practically months at a time, though I probably won't be able to do much else. It is the principle of the matter, I shouldn't have to. I should be pretty warm this winter and it shouldn't even be negotiable. Time for the best part though, do you think when I just consistently keep getting faster and faster I would only finish a pair of pants? No, I went further with my new speed I managed to whip up a decently long rope in two days. It is sturdy enough to solidly hold my minuscule weight but not much else, I tested this by hanging it off a very low-hanging branch that I barely managed to throw up there. It was honestly a bit of a task, but I am guessing you are wondering why is a rope so good and why I am going on and on about it so much. Well, this lets me expand my training with so many more relatively safe exercises.

Rope climbing, negative pull-ups, and any number of forearm exercises. These are all part of the basics for acrobatics and this is a huge leap forward. Also with how easily I made it, I can easily make a new one, and increase the length, size, and or sturdiness as I get bigger. Until I get a sturdy bar, this is the most versatile piece of equipment after the ground.

As long as I keep working and working, everything should turn out fine. If I don't bother too many people and I manage to continue how I am without too many alterations. I can't see too many things getting in my way. The only thing left to do is see how my father gets the food and all the loose ends that I can tie up now will be gone. Let us just hope it is not too troublesome.
