Werewolf Hunting Princess Goes on Her First Date (3)

It was only a short drive to the nursery where the plants were sold, and Feng Jiao enjoyed every minute of it. She hummed as they drove through the pretty streets filled with quaint cafes and little stores, filled with trinkets.

Feng Jiao knew that it was one of those rare sunny days in the early part of the year, where it wasn't bone chilling cold. She needed to make the most of it while the sun was still out, and what was more useful than dragging someone out with her to buy trees?

Feng Jiao was enjoying herself quite a bit, so even when they got down and stopped in front of the muddy nursery, she didn't feel like complaining.

Her only complaint would be the fact that she had to buy the trees at all.

Why couldn't they just be magically transported to her house without any work from her? Or even better, why couldn't they just walk over to her house?

Feng Jiao could not be bothered to fight with the moon goddess about how trees were created, and why they didn't have temporary legs for walking to their owner's house. She jumped out of the car and was practically floating around the nursery.

It was an open space with endless rows of potted plants and at the back, there were trees.

Even though Feng Jiao had initially come for the cherry blossoms, she was walking around randomly and looking at whatever caught her interest. Of course, these were all pink flowers, but that wasn't an issue.

She looked at the lotuses and the pretty pink water lilies and suddenly wondered if she should make a pond in her backyard.

But with one bite from the mosquitoes near the pond, she figured that it wasn't worth it.

Gao Longwei soon caught up to her. He had just come back from parking the car at the entrance, and then went to where he had dropped Feng Jiao off.

It only took him a few minutes to catch up with Feng Jiao.

She was staring into the pond greedily, and Gao Longwei suddenly felt like he was going to be doing a lot more labor than he accounted for today. And perhaps that labor would be something along the lines of digging a pond in her backyard.

To his great relief, it looked like she was done staring at the pond, and wasn't interested in it anymore.

No more pond digging for him.

"Oh, you're here?" Feng Jiao giggled before tugging on Gao Longwei's arm.

She had been dragging him around all this while, so Gao Longwei had gotten used to her warm palms on his arm. It was like she had imprinted her warmth onto his arms. Not that he was complaining, he quite liked it.

She dragged him over to the front counter of the nursery.

Every single woman in the nursery had their eyes fixed on Gao Longwei, and every single man on Feng Jiao. They were eye catching enough separately, but together they were simply a couple of models that had walked straight out of a magazine.

Even models didn't have their auras.

Feng Jiao had the aura of killer, a rockstar, a temptress, a seductress. She had a dark and mysterious aura that dragged men in like a siren, and made them unable to escape her. Even in her school uniform.

If she was wearing a little black dress, her killer seductiveness would go up by a huge amount.

As for Gao Longwei, he had the overbearing aura of a man in power.

He was the kind that women liked the most, perhaps only after bad boys. He was a powerful man who was quite obviously rich. All of the women in the room were practically drooling over him, the same way the men were eyeing Feng Jiao.

Neither of the two realized that people were admiring them.

Both felt the stares, because of their habit of risk perception, but neither of them could tell why the people there were staring at them.

"Do you have a lot of enemies?" Feng Jiao tugged on Gao Longweis arm to lower his head toward her.

It looked like a gentle and loving tug to the people around them, but Feng Jiao's amount of force would've made anyone else cry out in pain. As a dominant alpha, Gao Longwei barely felt anything, but that didn't change how strong Feng Jiao was.

Gao Longwei considered her suggestion for a second, thinking it through properly.

He indeed, did have a lot of enemies.

But would they follow him to a nursery? Probably not. There was no harm in figuring out Fneg Jiao's line of thought. Perhaps she was thinking of something useful.

But Feng Jiao was never thinking of anything useful.

Gao Longwei should've known better than to expect something useful from Feng Jiao, but he went along with his mate's whim anyway. It was the true making of a simp.

"Yes, I do. Should I be worried?" Gao Longwei whispered into her ear, making her turn red as his hot breath touched her ear. She just wasn't used to it.

"Look at those two! So cute! I'm so jealous!"

"When will I find a man like that? I want to date too!"

"I want the girl, you can have the man."

The people in the nursery were whispering amongst each other. They had all come in groups after all, and what were the groups going to do, if not gossip?

Feng Jiao wasn't exactly aware of gossip culture. She was the kind to openly say what she was thinking, and all of her friends were boys, the kind of boys who did not gossip.

She was instead, ready to make a run for it.

This place was not very safe in her opinion, but she wanted her trees first.

"Can I get three cherry blossom trees please?" she asked the lady at the front desk politely before tugging on Gao Longwei's arm and whispering again, "As soon as we get the trees, we're getting out of here."
