7. Dealing Traitors.

Even though she liked how handsome he was, and how her heartbeat increased after seeing his naked body, she couldn't help but feel a trace of fear in her heart.

What if he came back to her to shut her mouth forever? It was possible, especially after she remembered how that man killed another person with his jaws. She could already imagine being killed by that in multiple ways.

A shiver travelled down her spine at that. She looked at the window that was opened and jumped out of the bed to close it before tucking herself inside the blanket all over again. She was packed so much that only her widened eyes were visible and she stared at the ceiling fearfully.

Why couldn't she calm down?! She had already closed the window to shut out another chance of him entering her room.

But what if he had already entered her room?

Hazel's heartbeat thudded faster than ever. She jumped off the bed again as she looked at the dark area inside the bed. It was so that the lingering fear in her heart only increased after seeing that.

He could be here!

With her trembling hands, she opened the torch app on her phone and brightened it up. When she saw that there was no one inside the bed, she sighed in relief as she got back to her bed.

She was worried for nothing. She just needed to sleep.

But even then she couldn't close her eyes for fear of encountering that human wolf. What if she closed her eyes and he appeared in front of her again?! If you dare to close our eyes and sleep, she just knew that he would come and kill her with those sharp jaws!

She gulped and tucked herself closer to the bed. After that, she couldn't handle it anymore and pulled the blanket over her head. But she kept sneaking a glance outside with her frightened eyes.

MEANWHILE.

At the same time, in the dark alley, the man was still standing there when Hazel left that place. He still didn't know anything about her at all, not even her name. His eyes squinted at the girl rushing away as he stood there and watched. Just as he was doing this, he heard the sound of footsteps echoing behind him.

By the time he turned around, Hazel had already disappeared on the street and the man's expressions had come back to normal. It almost seemed as if it wasn't the man who had become naked and teased a young girl. This time, a man with brown curly hair appeared in front of his eyes. "Didn't I ask you to wait for me?"

"Dylan." The brown haired man spoke in a cold voice. "I have another traitor with me."

Dylan's eyes sharpened at those words. He looked at the brown haired man and said in an icy voice, "Really? Do me a favor, Austin and bring that person here."

Austin nodded and turned back without saying a single word. After a few minutes, he came back to the alley with a man's eyes and arms tied with a black cloth. After throwing at Dylan's feet, Austin removed the cloth from his eyes and arms and walked a few steps back as if he were standing in a protective position so that he could capture the traitor if he ran away.

The traitor's eyes widened when he saw Dylan in front of his eyes.

Dylan's eyes squinted at the man, and he said in a husky voice, "Do you know what you have done?"

The man on his knees trembled when he heard those words. His lips quivered as he parted them again and again, but not a single sound could escape his throat. It seemed as if his voice was choked up because of air in his throat. He wanted to scratch it and force himself to tell a lie to save himself, but he couldn't.

Why was he so useless?! His hands that were tied behind clenched as he stared at the man standing in front of him.

No, he wouldn't get afraid just because of those words. The boss didn't have any evidence, and he knew perfectly well about it! The man was damned sure that the boss was just trying to get a concession out of him. He gritted his teeth and controlled himself.

He wouldn't lose his self-control just because he was being blamed like this. So he forced himself to calm down and said in a trembling and shaky voice, "B-Boss…." He stuttered and looked down. "I didn't do anything! You know I'm loyal to you, right?"

Dylan didn't say anything. He stared at the traitor coldly for a long time before opening his mouth. His cold voice echoed in the background. "Your neck is so fragile. It can break any minute with my hands. What if I accidentally turn it around and kill you?" He pressed his hands against the traitor's throat as the latter became even more frightened. "Think before you speak."

When Evan heard this word, he trembled even more. Thick sweat covered up his forehead as he stared at the ground. He didn't dare to lift his head up and look at the boss's expression.

How could this happen to him?! He was just exchanging money a few minutes back, and he was just going to get out of this hellhole when the boss's people came to him all of a sudden and dragged him back here.
