Chapter 21: The goddess' memories
"What?! No!" Dabria denied "Why should a great person like myself embarrass myself for your fantasy. You should be either groveling and beg for mercy or be in awe of me"
"A lap pillow?" I asked
"No! You perverted 11 year old"
"Awww" I was a bit disappointed "Seems like your boasting of yourself being beautiful wasn't a complete lie"
"Of course, why would I lie about such a fact" She coughed "Stop checking me out!"
She caught me checking her out, tch. Well like Eliza she seems to be not too big and not too small, Dabria is the definition of 'Medium is premium'.

"Oh sorry, so is there any side effects I should be worried about?"
"Hmmm, one of your eye colors will be the same as mine, so your eyes should be one brown and one purple"
"That's it?"
"Well this is the first time I've done this" She replied
"Ace, Siege, you guys know what to do right?" I asked
"Yep, we will make up some excuses for your reason of being in a coma like state for at most a week" Ace said and saluting, he looked very cute
"I'll guard you and make sure you are safe" Siege said
"So how do we get it started?"
"Lie down your bed"
"Oi, aren't we moving too fast? I didn't think you were this type of person" I said as I pretended to cover myself
Dabria facepalmed "You'll be sleeping for a whole week, get on it, you need somewhere to sleep comfortably"
"What about you? Won't my parent's see you asleep in my room?" I asked
"I'll sleep at my usual place, I'll be gone don't worry"
I then lie down on my bed, she then kissed my forehead.
"Man, this will be so awkward if I got a god instead of a goddess"
"Well I'll go back, I'll wake up earlier than you, if a situation where both Ace and Siege can't handle comes up, I'll intervene" Dabria said ignoring my earlier remarks, she then vanished into black particles
I then fell asleep.
Guys, she lied about her age in the earlier chapters, she is currently 312 years old. I experienced her life as a goddess during her sleep starting from when she was created into the world as the manifestation of Death, she also have a twin, the god of life, Nova. He had white hair with a few light blue tips at the edge of each strand and also purple eyes.
They were always together, even when they observed other gods and reincarnates in other worlds, they observed how the other gods interacted with mortals.
Only a few gods or goddesses will earn the chance to host a mortal, which is decided by a draw, the gods who sponsor the mortals see this a form of entertainment, because they were curious about mortals, especially human being, despite having a limited lifespan, they were unique, accomplishing what the gods thought they couldn't, creating civilization and creating technology that the gods wouldn't even think of. But the best part of the entertainment was the cruel ones, they would do the cruelest and horrible of things, from killing their own kind to even feasting on them. The gods weren't allowed to directly interfere with what the mortals do, even if it's against the god's belief. Nova was especially interested in mortals, he was curious and he thought that he will never get a chance to sponsor one by the age of 400.
"What do you mean you want to become mortal?" Dabria asked
"Sis, us gods will live forever and the only fun thing to do is to sponsor a mortal, I might never get a chance to sponsor one, the chances are very low and you know it too" Nova answered
"But you'll die"
"We lived for a century, I want to find my purpose, I'm the god of life, I also want to find my own purpose like every other being. They were able to live happily and die happy because they found their purpose, I want to know how a human life feels, the closest thing is the sponsor one and experience their life with them"
"What if I get one and give it to you, there are 2 of us, we have a slightly higher chance of getting you one"
Nova shook his head "I'm sorry sis, I made my decision, I will become mortal and live the rest of my life as one"
"Please don't leave me alone" Dabria cried as she held his hands "What if you're killed by the cruel ones?"
"You won't be alone, if it's you, you'll get your chance to sponsor one, don't ever pass it up" Nova patted her head "Besides, you can just observe me if you're feeling lonely, even when I become mortal, I'm sure I will still have a few powers left, I won't worry about any danger"
Nova became mortal and lived his life as a sheep farmer, she observed him day after day, he looked like he didn't regret his decision at all, and when he died at the age of 187. She met his soul one last time.
"Ah look at you!" Nova said using his wrinkled hands to cup her face "You look just as beautiful even after all these years"
"But you're dead now, after this, I won't ever get to see you again" Dabria cried
"I didn't regret my life one bit, I made friends and I found my purpose. Besides I already lived for a very long lifespan for a mortal, make sure to not pass up the chance to sponsor a mortal, you will eventually experience what I experienced"
"It was a wonderful life" a tear dropped from his eyes "Please take my advice Dabria, or become a mortal if you don't get the chance, it's a wonderful experience, I hope you will achieve happiness"
After Nova went for his reincarnation, Dabria took his role as the god of life and become the goddess of life and death, but she would only introduce herself as the goddess of death, because she felt a bit a shame that she will never live up to the role like her brother.
She won the chance to sponsor one along side Helena, and she took up her brother's advice. She wanted to experienced what he experienced. She then scoured around every world to find a mortal that would help her experience life. But both her and Helena will have to wait for both mortal to die before they can take them to our current world.
After 2 years, she found me, a person who only left his house to work and back, I was not like what her brother said, she wanted to find another person but she then felt an odd sensation of death and anger on me.
She was then intrigued, she thought I was a person who didn't have a purpose and so she picked me as her mortal, she wanted me to find my purpose just like her brother did.
Albert died an early death due to a traffic accident, as for me a random lightning strike. So she observed me for about 3 years.
After meeting me, she didn't like my dream of wanting to be a slacker but she did enjoy my presence, me teasing her reminded her a bit of her brother despite saying that she regretted that she picked me, she never regretted her decision.
She wanted to know why I distrust people, she wanted me to make friends other than my own family members, she can't wait to see my memories to see my reasons. She is curious about my thoughts and the way I think.
When Dabria appeared in front of me, she was a bit nervous that I would be scared and ran away, but was a bit disappointed instead when I checked her out.
And the memories end when she came back to her realm and slept.

During the days of Perseus sleeping, his family was concerned.
"How is he getting stronger through sleeping?" Axel asked
"Don't worry, I will make sure no harm comes to him" Siege replied
"Uncle John can tell you, even though he is sleeping, he is okay" Ace added
"He is in normal conditions, no abnormalities, he's in a coma-like sleep, he should be fine, we shouldn't wake him up, but he'll be very hungry when he wake up" John commented
"How long will he be asleep?" Mary asked
"A week at most" Ace answered
"It's been 5 days, if it's after 2 more days and he still doesn't wake up, I'm finding someone to forcefully wake him up"
"That's fine by us" Ace replied and Siege nodded
"Well this is a surprise for surprise visit" Luke said
"I'm sorry Luke, you got your wife and daughter to visit us during such a difficult situation" Mary apologized
"It's alright, Eliza also wanted to visit because she likes his cooking, his invention of Ice-cream and bubble tea is now booming. After this, we should take a trip to the North to relax, Ellie seems to like the plan" Luke said
"Well Mom never been to the north before, it seems like a good plan" Eliza said
"He's awake!" Ace shouted and ran to Perseus' room
Siege ran after him

I woke up even more groggy than the last 2 bonds.
-Well I feel terrible-
-Your memories sure are a surprise, maybe I should've wandered out further- Dabria said
-Betrayal can do a lot to a person-
-You're awake?- Ace joined in suddenly
-Yeah- I answered
I then heard footsteps running to my room
"What happened to your eyes?" Olivia asked
"Didn't Ace and Siege tell you?"
"Well yes, but both of your eyes are purple, not just one like they said" John answered
Dad took a mirror and let me use it, I saw myself with 2 purple eyes.
-Well that's a first- Dabria commented
