Chapter 81: Freakshow
School started again and class went on as usual, but this time students look at me with both in awe and fear.
-I'm being stared at more then usual today even though I left Damon in our room-
-Well it's not everyday that you hear someone has bonded with a dragon- Siege replied
-Well let's hope with Albert there, attention will be at least drawn away-
-Yes, we are currently being watched like a freak show- Siege nodded
We arrive in close combat class and was joined in with the healing class. Albert was already there first.
"Hey, did you enjoy the attention?"
"Not really" Albert scratched his head "It made me very uncomfortable"
Lucas, Cecily and Eleanor then came to us
"You've heard about our trip, it's to an island in Gloria" Eleanor said
"I'm quite jealous, I would've loved to go" Cecily sulked
"Maybe I can find a cool new aquatic friend" Lucas smiled "Too bad it's going to be on your birthday and you can't celebrate it with your parents, you'll have to settle with us"

Damon accompanied me to the beast tamer class today, where he would transform and let the others observe him.
Everyone freaked out when he did, they were surrounding from every angle till Damon scared them a bit by slapping his tail on the ground to remind them not to get a head of themselves
"Don't forget everyone, our trip to the beach isn't just for fun, we all must prioritize on finding a bond, and no it doesn't necessarily have to be a dragon" Professor Emma reminded "We will also travel to an island where we will be spending a few nights, we will of course be accompanied by the holy knights of the church of Dabria"
-Sounds annoying but I'll endure it, learning aura from that one spar with Jake helped me a lot-
-Who are you and what have you done with Perseus?!- Dabria exclaimed
-Yeah you're nicer than your usual self today- Diana agreed
-Well I'll be like this for one day, cuz I don't think this trip is going to go smoothly-

"So why is the saint traveling with us again?"
"We would not waste our chance to travel with our god" Jake said proudly
"I thought you've retired from the holy knights"
"I am, but I am allowed to travel with you on this trip" he replied
"So this is your dragon?" Richard asked "As expected of our lord, to bond with such a magnificent beast"
"Well now that my identity as a bond has been revealed, I can go on field trips with Perseus, so you should see me out more often" Damon responded
-I'm getting too many titles that I do not want to associate with right now-
-Just deal with it- Siege said
We then got on a big ship that was carrying the students to the island, birds started to fly and land to our ship, among the few were magic birds, and some have attempted to bond with them.
"Man, I want a cool bond too, since dragons are already taken, maybe I should go for a phoenix" Lucas pondered
-That's already taken as well- Ace said
"That's a lot of wishful thinking" Eleanor replied "We haven't even bonded with a regular beast"
"I can have dreams too, maybe the forest will have some exotic wild beasts, you never know" Lucas said
"We have to go in accompanied by a holy knight you know? Might not be as fun" Eleanor responded
"Hey Beatrice, how's your day been?"
I greeted the saint who was approaching me
"I'm doing good, but may I ask about why are you wearing strange clothes?" she asked innocently
I wore similar clothes like when I met up with Alice, but instead of denim pants, I wore khaki pants.
"It's comfortable, and it's not that strange"
"I like it, maybe you should me some for me too" Lucas joined in
"Maybe those are the clothes that gods wear, I should take notes"
-Well she's technically not wrong, I've seen a few in Dabria's memories-
-Yes, but they are very few in numbers, since we mostly wear formal clothing- Dabria said
"Are you and miss Beatrice close?" Professor Emma asked
"I would think so" Beatrice answered
-I mean she's technically your saint and I'm kinda your host, so it would be a yes right?-
-I would believe so, yes- Dabria agreed
"Technically yeah"

-I already got a rival and it's a saint, I've got no chance- Emma said
-I think she's older than you, so you should have a slight chance, it's not impossible- Wally replied -Though I would admit that she is more beautiful than you-
-Guys you are forgetting that he's 12 right?- Wilson said
-Shut up and eat your apples at whatever part of the ship you're at right now- Emma retorted

We then landed on the island and set up our camp.
"You guys got your own custom tent this time, I've taught you well"
"Well I pack a lot of unnecessary things now cuz every time I hang out with you, I always get in trouble, I even brought my best armors with me today" Lucas replied
"Oh yeah, the armor you guys requested to be made with Damon's scales are almost finished, Luke called me last night to inform me"
"Thank you, they must've had fun using them" Eleanor said
-Oh you have no idea- Diana shook her head
-To become a forgemaster, you have to be able to make 15 S-rank equipments without materials stronger than titanium, but those 2 just want more stuff to experiment with-
-I heard that we're getting some as well- Ace said
-Of course, but we'll have to wait and see what they'll make us-
"We have a free day to enjoy the beach today right?" Lucas asked
"Yes, today food will be provided, but from tomorrow onwards, we're on our own" Eleanor answered "But we should focus on finding a bond, that's our main focus for today"
I set up 2 beach chairs, one for Damon and one for me, with an umbrella in the middle and relaxed, I only had swimming trunks and a hoodie on, I got out cold orange juice and enjoyed it with my bond.
"Yo mind if we joined in?" a familiar voice asked
I turned to see Urie accompanied by a guy in full leather
"Why is he wearing leather in the sun?"
"I've asked him the same thing, see Draven, even he thinks your outfit is weird for the occasion" Urie said to Draven
"Hey, I'm Draven, a ghoul, nice to finally meet ya" he let out a hand that I shook
"So does a ghoul really love coffee?"
"Ah shit, here we go again" he mumbled
