Chapter 86: God's descent
"Are you crazy?!" Cordelia screamed "We found out why it's angry, let's just find the egg and the treasures, our forces before was easily defeated, my brother, a soldier stronger than the current grand commander can't defeat it, we'll delay it at most"
"It deemed me a threat already, don't worry, I got this, but you'll owe me a lot after this"
-Dabria, if I were to say have Damon throw me through the barrier towards the giant leviathan, will it be possible?-
-The barrier is meant to block people from coming it and does little to prevent you from flying out, so it is possible- she answered
"Damon throw me up there" I then got out my sword and Damon grabbed onto me
"Perseus stop what you're doing immediately" Professor Emma commanded
Cordelia and professor Emma tried to stop me, but Damon leaped high into the air, breaking the ground at where we were standing, he transformed into his dragon form midair and threw me as hard as he could, I flew super fast heading towards the leviathan
-This is awesome!-
-Get out your sword, you're about to go through the barrier!- Diana shouted
I then got out Dream Eater out of its sheath as I went through the barrier and slowed down in the water, my sword than glowed black.
"Dream away for now, I'll stay here and wait till the others retrieve something that belongs to you"
3rd person view
"What a magnificent ability" Jake applauded "Even after becoming mortal, you are still courageous"
"Come on, we do not have much time, let's go find the treasures and most importantly its egg" Damon said as he landed "Perseus will hold it 20 hours at most, but that leviathan just now was out of our expectations, 10 hours at most, so let's get to it"
"What's that black void?" Cordelia asked "The leviathan isn't moving, i-is she dead?"
"Don't be ridiculous" Diana answered "He may be strong but he can't kill an enemy at that scale, the leviathan is merely asleep, we must hurry"

1st person view
-Turn off the void, I got the egg and the treasures, we are heading towards your direction- Damon said
I then deactivate it, but still held the sword anyway, just in case as the void slowly shrunk. Damon then held a huge egg in his dragon form and the royal guards held the treasure.
-It's weird seeing you in your dragon form flying or swimming should I say in the water-
My other bonds, Jake and Professor Emma were on Damon's back as he traveled through the water.
The leviathan then woke up and was about to attack us again till she sees the egg and calmed down, she then spoke to us
"Seems like you finally returned what was rightfully mine" her voice sounded like a middle aged women
Damon got the same reaction as me, because even though she speaks by opening her mouth, her voice in inside our heads. She then turned to me and squinted her eyes
"You and that dragon have similar presence, a bond perhaps?" she asked "Speak like you usually do on land, I'll be able to hear it"
"Um yes, he's my bond, so now that we returned your things and your egg to you, will you let these people go, they didn't do anything wrong"
It feels weird talking underwater.
"What about the fools who stole them in the first place?" she retorted
"We got the mastermind and the people they hired to steal them, you can punish them as you like"
"May I ask?" Cordelia interjected "Where are my brother's and father's bodies?"
"Bodies? I didn't kill them, child, I kept the king and the the prince as prisoners, I only killed the others, follow me, dragon, you bring my child"
She then swam and we followed, I use water magic to to surround myself in a jet stream and traveled quickly in the water, we then arrived in this underwater cavern with an air pocket and in there was an old guy and another dude who looked like he was in his early 30s, both in armor.
"Dragon, place my egg along with the others" she instructed and Damon obliged
"Father! Big brother!" Cordelia rushed in to hug them both
"I will forgive this incident as you have returned my child back to me," the leviathan said "But punish the fools who stole my child, otherwise I will destroy the kingdom I swore to protect"
"So why did you keep the king and the prince alive?" Damon asked
"Not many knows this, but the royal family and I share the same ancestor" she answered "That is why I protect the kingdom and kept them alive, I do not kill my own relatives"
"Who's your ancestor?"
"Adrian, the god of the sea" she answered
-A descendant of a god, cool!- Ace said -I wonder how strong the royal family is-
-The prince is at the white core level, the king is too, but a bit weaker, my brother can still beat them in a one on one fight though, but they will give him quite a challenge- Diana commented
-Of course, when in comes to physical strength, I would not lose easily- Damon smiled
"Now child, the others might not notice it, but there's a weird presence around you" the leviathan lowered her head in front of me
"What's so weird? Is it because I bonded with a dragon?"
"No, your presence feels familiar, similar to when Adrian answered my prayers"
-So magic beasts pray too? Good to know-
-Well duh, they can have beliefs too-Dabria retorted
"You have a presence of god" she continued
-Not this again- Siege shook his head
"Of course!" Jake agreed "He is after all a reincarnation of the god of life, Nova"
"No, that is not true" the leviathan denied "Then his presence would feel a bit weaker, tell me human, what are you?"
"I can't lie my way out of this and say I'm a regular human can I?"
"No, if you do, I will kill you and your dragon, I despise liars" she bared her sharp teeth
-I can show myself- Dabria suggested -And I can use my magic on them to make sure they can't tell anyone else-
-Can't you erase their memories?- Ace asked
-No, that would be against the rules, I can't do much to help, but I can make sure that they can never talk about this- Dabria countered
"Seems like you will need my help" a familiar voice said
-Nova?-
-How would my dead brother help you with this?- Dabria retorted
-Maybe fear has made him hallucinate- Diana suggested
"Tell me human child" the leviathan leaned forward and got closer to me
Strings of light then got into a cocoon and Nova emerges out of it
"Seems like my presence that was in you gave you a bit of trouble" Nova smiled
-No...va- Dabria mumbled in shock, and from the sounds of it, it sounded like she was crying -You're...alive?-
"Yeah, seems like it, this is our first time meeting face to face outside of my dreams isn't it, nice to meet you again, you handsome prick"
"Hahaha" he laughed "You do not seem to change"
