We then rushed towards the front lines, I think some people saw Nova in my body and was so shocked that they stopped for a second to get their heads pummeled in by the enemy the next second. It took a while till we got to the front, but when we did, the expression on Chaos' face was priceless.
Zach then placed his hand on Nova's back and our soul then transferred back and Nova left my body and retreated. I can then felt the connections reassembling itself again, alerting my bonds, but currently I got no time for that.
"Blood bind + Blood maiden" I casted as Chaos' body parts then exploded into rope made of blood and tie her up in one place before engulfing her in a golden iron maiden of blood that closed ad pierced its body..
Then several streak of lightning bolts flashed at the spot of the cocoon while a large strong lightning bolt struck on the spot. The blood that was used to make that vessel was my blood, I can control it however I want, but Chaos seems to recover quick and stopped me from exploding all its blood vessels, but it was too late, all our curse has activated.
No more regeneration, duller senses, can't ever hide their presence, even the fake absorption of mana is now stopping, causing all the mana in that body to dispersed, but it can still be stopped and is still possible to absorb mana, just think of it like breathing, you sometimes have to manually breathe which I just caused by you reading this.
Chaos now have to absorb mana manually, but all the runes and enchantments that we inscribed on the bones and internal organs has now activated. And not just that...remember my ability 'Narrator'? It can work by just writing as well, so yes, i had to write the greatest curse ever to bind the soul of Chaos, but a regular narration will only hold the soul for so long...
We used forbidden magic, the law of equivalent exchange, I gave up the ability totally to enforce the soul binding, if it was anyone else, the effect would've been permanent, but against Chaos, several decades is the best we could do, not that we're complaining.
That body was made as a replica, so it would have my abilities temporarily, we could make a more severely inferior body, but that would have given us away, so we willingly gave it a vessel, it would technically be stronger now that it has a host, but...it will have a lot of drawbacks and it will take years to break out of that body, and if we kill Chaos in that body, Chaos will die along with it.
< Explosion magic: Gamma ray burst > Me and Zach casted simultaneously at it and we then launched several more spells as the others back away, some who were too slow got caught and died along with the enemy.
I looked through the explosion to see the blood maiden being crushed into a speck which Hecate held in place for a while before it expanded again and regained shape despite being crushed by intense gravity.
Flashback...
"Chaos will survive our attacks, that is something we can't avoid." Hecate said "Chaos has been waiting for this for years, no matter how strong we are, we can not kill Chaos yet, it's impossible."
"So we can only chase it away?"
"Yes, scare Chaos away for now." Hecate nodded "We'll kill them some other day."
"Make sense." Zach shrugged "We can't kill a god who has been planning this for like thousand of years."
"Power of talk no jutsu and the power of friendship!."
"So focus on that and eliminate their forces as much as we can." Nova joined in as everyone ignored my suggestion "And the next time...well, we can't trick Chaos, so while it has that weak body, we better make use of that opportunity since it can die."
Back to the present...
"You tricked me...you fucking tricked me!" Chaos shouted with the scariest glare that I've ever come against.
So I activated my 'Conqueror' ability to counter it, but instead of having a bigger presence, my ability can only made somehow become the equal. Some of the others like Louis couldn't even activate 'Presence' due to exhaustion and fear, luckily I'm in one of the most relatively good condition.
"We put our blood and sweat into that thing, and I meant that quite literally, that vessel is made from me. And as you notice, those clothes despite being of lower grade and damaged several times...I used 'Narrator' and with Hecate's help, they'll be stuck on you forever.
"We placed a curse on it so that you can't wear any other cloths, so no other armor, and the only way to get rid of it is for you to die since it's also bind to your soul like the vessel, even if it's erased out of existence, it will come back."
And I know that our allies was in fear earlier and despairing in the fight against Chaos, even the souls of Valhalla, they are fighting a hopeless battle, so...I got out the jar of Pithos and opened it up where a golden orb flew up from it.
"Go on Elpis, give my allies hope."
Elpis then flew everywhere everyone she passed by seems to have been given a more hopeful expression.
"Retreat." Chaos ordered "We need to modify this body before we can fight again."
We then charged against them as they all run through this portal where we see some of their allies fighting on the other side, a few gods volunteered to stay behind to stall us from getting to the people running away. Chaos despite in that stupid cursed body, can still shoot out very destructive spells as our army also got mowed down.
"Enjoy your rebirth, Chaos!" I shouted as their portal close.
I can then see people staring at me in awe, I need to change the subject.
"Ragnarok is happening, this is but the first wave, let's go!"
