I was skeptical about the size of the carriages, don't get me wrong the carriages was quite big but looking behind me, I could see dozens of people looking at number 70.

The shinigami guiding us seems to know what we were thinking so he said "Don't worry, the carriages are spacious on the inside and were also taking trips down back and forth because we know that we can't bring you people all at once."

"So, the people who have 71 to 74 please get on the carriages."

I was on 74 so I went in one that was nearest to me and waited for the carriage to fil up since I know that the carriage won't move until its full.

I didn't have to wait long before the carriage was full and started to move.

The scenery was the same but it started to get better the more district we pass before going out of one of the districts and going towards a cross road.

We went right and continued to travel for a while before we started to see buildings again but the conditions of them were the same as the 80th district before.

The carriages went in and stopped after passing 6 districts. "Alright were here, those who have east rukongai, district 74 please step out."

"Well this is my stop." I thought.

I went out of the carriage and got on the side of the road, after watching the carriage move away, I went to a restaurant to eat.

While I was eating, I heard some news and rumors but what really caught my attention was something between 2 men were talking about.

"Hey Hiro did you hear about the shinigami selection coming up?"

"Of course I heard about it, everyone is talking about it."

"Is your son participating in it?"

"Of course but I doubt that he'll pass."

"Oh? Why do you think that?"

"Its because a shinigami in the past said that he couldn't become one of them because he couldn't sense any reiryoku on him."

"Aren't you believing a bit too much on that shinigami? I mean who knows maybe that shinigami was wrong."

"I know that he could be wrong but my son's body isn't good." Hiro signed after drinking.

"If your son's body is bad, then why are you allowing him to take the test, you know that after a year of studying the academy will host a survival test for the new students." The other man asked confusedly.

So there's a survival test huh, I think that it was mentioned in the anime but I forgot what its name was, oh well I really don't care, and besides its not likw I'm afraid of a bunch of weak hollows.

"Like I said, I doubt that he would even past the examinations, as for why we're letting him participate."

"We actually don't want him to but he still wants to participate in it, even after knowing his body's condition."

"That's tough man."

"Yeah, I just hope that he wont feel to bad when he fails."

"Anyway what about your son? I heard he was going to participate."

"Yeah he is, his body is more than enough to handle the workouts they'll give."

"Nice but I heard that they changed some things this year."

"You mean that after a year they'll held up a tournament thing?"

"Yeah, I heard that the winner will be able to join in any of the 12 division and will be able to graduate earlier if they past the examination."

"That's really convenient for my son."

"Hoh? Aren't you a bit too sure already? I mean the examinations haven't even started, and there might be some stronger people out there too."

"Of course I know, there are also rewards for being able to pass through each round on the tournament."

"I'm not expecting him to get 1st place but I'm confident that he could get past some of the rounds."

Being rewarded despite not being 2nd or 3rd is a great way to make students motivated to train more so that they can win more rewards. Looks like they want more strong shinigamis.

I stopped listening to them once they changed the subject and finished my food then went out.

While I was walking, I saw that there was a few weird statues that looked like a right hand of a person with an eye on the back of it facing forwards on some of the houses.

"A right hand with an eye... Hmmm, somehow I find this quite familiar, where have I seen this?" I put my hand to my chin and thought.

In the end, I couldn't think of anything so I just went ahead and asked one of the people that had a statue.

"Excuse me, can you tell me what this statue is?" I asked while pointing to the statue.

"Oh that? You mean Mimihagi-sama?" The woman cleaning spoke.

Oh yeah Mimihagi, the soul kings right hand, the one that helped Ukitake by taking away his lungs. I've always wondered if he took away Ukitake's lungs, then how is he alive?

Maybe they should've said that Mimihagi took away Ukitake's lung disease, because that would've been more appropriate.

"Oh I see that's Mimihagi-sama, the rumored right hand of the soul king."

"Yes."

"Well thank you for answering."

After saying that, I went straight towards the 1st district of the east rukongai, the journey was quite and normal, well if you ignore the constant bandit gangs appearing and trying to rob me.

One thing I noticed was that on my way, everyone was not wearing sandals, but that changed when I entered the 59th district.

Although the district was in a bad shape, it was still better than the ones before and I don't see any Mimihagi statues any more.

I was starting to feel a little bit hungry so I went ahead and took a quick lunch, then continued my journey.

After traveling for 3 more hours, I soon reached the 1st district, its name was hirotsuma. It was pretty clean compared to the rest of the districts so I asked around for the best inn to stay in.

After getting my answer and the directions, I went to it and paid my stay for a day then ate. When I finished eating, it was only 6 PM.

"Its been a while since I've last had a hollow hunt, guess I'll do one now." I thought as I opened a gaarganta and went through it.

I reconnected my connection with my body and I went to the forest of menos.

"Hmm killing hollows and gillians won't take much time but the points that they drop are too little compared to the time when I killed those 2 adjuchas and 1 vasto lorde, just those 3 provided me with a lot of points." I thought.

"I'll just spend 2 hours here and 2 hours up, hopefully I'll be able to find a lot of adjuchas and vasto lordes."

After making up my mind, I looked around for a hollow and I didn't need to spend much time before I found one. I went over to it and killed it.

When I killed the first one, another one came and then the second one, then the third one, it kept increasing in numbers until I'm surrounded in all sides.

Of course I wasn't scared by this, in my eyes its just a bunch of points willingly coming to me, but I am curios as to why their coming here without me making any loud moves.

So I used observation haki and found out that there isn't any hollow pact place nearby but there are more coming here with gillians.

"Hmm weird, I wonder what are making these hollows come here... Oh wait, could it be that the aura concealing perfume wore off?"

"Yeah that could explain it."
