Ever thought about the fact that a different decision at a certain point in your life would have completely changed your life? You know what kind of decisions: whether to move or not to a different country, changing your job, jumping into the unknown and chasing the career you dream of, choosing courage over fear, risk over comfort, and facing your fears head-on. The thing is there are crossroads in your life when you made choices and their results lie in front of you. Sometimes, if you want a better life you got to make better and healthier choices for a better result. On the other hand, when faced with multiple choices the line becomes blurry. There's always one circumstance or factor you may not have foreseen if you chose route A instead of B. So crying over a fictional future that exists in your mind is a waste of time. In the end, you end up crying over what you think might have been instead of what was going to be. In this time you could have leveled up and created a better life for yourself. Staying prisoner inside your negative feelings you have and not letting go of your negative emotions will eventually catch up with you and strangle you. Is it worth it?
We all have a dark side and we keep running away from it. Whether we care to admit it or not. Some of us may have even embraced it. Why are we so afraid of it? Why do we try to desperately repress it? Why do we feel the need to always show the perfect side to the world, yet carefully hide our demons underneath the bed? We want to be seen as great, trustworthy people or someone worth remembering… We want to know our existence meant something to us and the ones around us. We don't want to be embarrassed. Yet we embarrass ourselves by suppressing our dark side. Light cannot shine without darkness. And it's vital to understand and accept both sides of us. So what's your dark side? Have you embraced it yet? If a reporter would write about you in a newspaper what are the traits you'd love and hate to read about? How about traits you see in others? What do you hate about them? Search for the darkness inside you and see the light in it. What good has your darkness brought to light? By embracing our imperfections we embrace being human. Even our worst parts are some of our best parts. Embracing our dark side reduces the chance of having outbursts of anger or vindictiveness and nervous breakdowns.

"Hey, how are you, honey?" Josh softly asked as Johanna went with her hand through her hair. "I am ok. In a month you'll be here and we'll finally be able to hug each other." He laughed and replied: "Yeah, we're so close to hugging each other again." "It feels like ages since we have last seen each other face to face."
Johanna sighed and asked him: "How's the university?" "It's ok. I passed the exams. How about you?" "There's one I failed and have to retake. Other than that I'm fine."
Josh stared at the screen. "What's wrong?" Johanna giggled. "Nothing. You're beautiful." Johanna wore a pink top and black shorts. Her nails were red and she straightened her hair earlier this day and wore black shorts. "And you're pretty girly." "I know," she smiled and added. "You caught me."
"Do you have any fantasies?" "You mean sexual?" Johanna asked him. "Yeah." She thought for a second or two, then shrugged her shoulders. 'Not that I remember of. How about you?' "I have no fantasies. Not that I can think of. Oh, wait. How about a threesome?" Johanna became silent and in a few seconds she spitted out: "I don't see how this fantasy could work out for us. "Come on. I'd love to try out something new." Johanna shrugged her shoulders: "Okay. But I get to pick the guy." Josh nervously fudged on his chair: "What?! No, not like that. I meant a girl." "Why not? Do you have any issues watching me have sex with another guy?" "I'd probably hit him with the foot. I don't think I could watch that." "Well, if it's uncomfortable for you to watch me have sex with another guy don't think it will be comfortable for me."
"What sitcoms or series of episodes have you watched lately?" "Except for "The big bang theory" I've watched some horror movies lately and played "Silent hill". " "How about you?" "I played some Sims lately and bought some new games on the Nintendo 3ds." Josh replied: "The Nintendo 3ds sounds interesting. Wondering how they create that 3Deffect on it..?" "I don't know. You can google it. I'm not the most technical person you know." "I had a Nintendo in high school, but a classmate stole it from me. "I'm sorry to hear that," Johanna replied. She fidgeted from side to side on her chair, then took some big sips from the big water bottle next to her. "Hey, you're copying my healthy lifestyle," Josh teased her. "I learn from the best," she said and wiped her face, as some water accidentally leaked on it while she was drinking.
"I started going to the gym." Josh joyfully told her and clapped his hands. "That's nice. I'm glad you're doing it, but you should know I love you just the way you are. If you do it, do it for your health. I think you're handsome just the way you look now." "Aww. That's nice. What do you think? Do you see any difference?" "Nope, not much." "Ugh," he sighed and his facial expression turned to sadness and disappointment. "It takes time for progress to appear. Don't feel discouraged if you don't get fast results."
