Seeing each other again

Time is an awkward concept. When you're doing something you don't like or desperately waiting for something to happen, it goes by so slowly. However, if you're spending it with someone you love or doing activities you enjoy it flies by.

Relativity according to Einstein was described as: "Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. That's relativity. "Couldn't agree more with this statement.

Remember those mornings when you expected Santa Claus and you went to sleep anxiously awaiting him and asking yourself what and whether he would bring any presents? Johanna was sitting in Josh's uncle's car. Her father was also sitting in it. Her mind and heart raced at a pace she could barely keep up with. Six months passed since they last saw each other. Her father and his uncle talked about different topics, but the small talk just flew by Johanna's ears. An uncomfortable pit in the stomach and lightheadedness hit her leaving her unable to process anything that was happening around her. Trees passed by her, houses, cars, people as the car was moving and each became smaller and smaller losing itself in the distance until it disappeared.

In the airport, she went to the arrivals section. Some people held banners with messages for either loved ones or people they were supposed to pick up from there once they arrived. It is said that airports saw more sincere kisses than wedding halls and the walls of hospitals have heard more prayers than the walls of churches. The author of this quote is unknown, but he was right.

Butterflies flew up and down and left and right and finally hit their heads against each other. Time stood still, she held her breath for a moment and the Wait finally took end: he appeared from around the corner and smiled the biggest smile he was capable of and she'd ever seen and opened his arms wide: "Johanna!" He exclaimed happily. She ran towards him and hugged him tightly. As his arms wrapped around her and she sank in his hug, she felt home. For a moment she had no worries and she felt safe and calm. His hug could be compared to a blanket, she could wrap in after a day spent in the cold. She closed her eyes and soaked into the warmth of his body and his amazing smell and forgot the world around her. When she finally let go of his hug, she looked into his eyes and quietly whispered: "You're so handsome! I've missed you!" "I missed you too!" Do you ever feel so happy you can't grasp that this is real and not just some random dream and you need to refrain from pinching the person in front of you because it would actually hurt them, but rather bask in the handsomeness of their features in front of you and just take it all in as if it were a beautiful sunrise and you just want to enjoy every second of it?

Because in hindsight it's not the big moments that make us happy, but rather small moments that bring a great bundle of joy in your life. It's not the destination, but rather the journey that matters. It's not reaching the goal that makes up happy, but rather the person we become. It's how a person makes us feel and keeping that feeling alive that keeps us together.

Johanna went hand in hand with him toward his uncle's car. The aggressive summer sun and the heat made the air almost unbreathable. Josh opened the door of the car and when Johanna set a foot inside it she realized her dress slipped for some reason from the upper part of her body and left her nipple visible. She quickly, but discreetly pulled it up and regretted the fact she did not test wear it before. Josh grabbed her hand softly and smiled: "I'm so happy to finally be able to hold you again!" She smiled back. "Me too." " A while they drove in a peaceful, happy silence. "Johanna, you're just as silent and thoughtful as Josh. You make a good pair together." "Haha," Johanna laughed. "I don't mind the silence. In silence, we find value and solutions sometimes." "Yeah, I wasn't sure whether you are shy. Probably just silent and thoughtful. Just like Josh. Hey, Josh, if you ever need something just let me know!" "Yeah, I will," he replied.

A car appeared out of nowhere and almost crashed with the car Josh, Johanna, her father, and Josh's uncle were in. A bunch of curse words escaped his uncle's mouth about two or three minutes straight. "Thank God we're okay and the impact was avoided," Johana silently thought to herself. "It's not nice to curse. A driver needs to be calm at all times and say and think nice thoughts." Josh suggested. "Oh, yeah? How about you drive next time and see what the deal is with calmness when driving?" he angrily replied.

"I was just giving a suggestion, that's all," Josh innocently replied and smiled. In half an hour they arrived at the mall close to Johanna's home and they got out of the car. "After entering the mall, Josh exclaimed: "Wow, the air from the air conditioner feels like a blessing afar stepping inside of the mall."

They silently walked hand in hand and sat down on a bench. He looked her in the eyes. "What's wrong? Why do you smile?" "Your nipples are playful and impatient and took a peek outside of your dress." Johanna turned red and heat went through her body: "Oh, sorry. I-I- I did not do it on purpose. I tried to be elegant and noticed after already trying this dress that it's not what I needed. I did not put my boobies intentionally on display and hope you did not change your opinion of me. Just tried to look great on this special occasion, but it went wrong." "It's okay. Sometimes stuff happens.' "Let's enjoy the time we have together." He hugged her tightly and she pressed her head against his shoulder. He yawned and rubbed his face with his hands. "What's wrong?" she asked. "I am very tired after the long flight. And very hungry. How about we go eat something?" "Sounds like a plan!" she replied and kissed his cheek softly and released him out of her hug.

'How about Subway?" "Do you want to buy a sandwich too?" "Yeah. It's ok." After they waited in line a few minutes, he bought the sandwiches for him and her and they dug in the food. In five minutes Josh finished his sandwich. "Wow, you're really hungry! I can't eat that fast even if I wanted to! I have a pretty small stomach!" she said, amazed at his eating speed. "You're so beautiful!" he softly replied and stared longingly at her mesmerized by her beauty.

He drew in close to her and put his arm around her shoulder. A heavy make-out session started between them. They were sitting on a dining sofa. Unfortunately, the sofa wasn't soft but made rather of wood.

Johanna tilted her head and enjoyed his closeness. His intoxicating smell, soft skin, but masculine and strong hands made her forget about the world around her, as their tongues could not get enough of each other and kept dancing together in a wild dance of joy and happiness since they found each other again. "Ouch," Johanna said as she hit her head by mistake when tilting it while kissing Josh. She laughed it off and continued caressing his hair and stroked the upper part of his shirt. A few minutes later, she hit her head again. They both laughed it off and soon she stopped the make-out session for a breath of air. "So glad you could make it!" she said and looked him intently in the eyes. "It was a long way to Romania, but it was worth it!" he informed her.

Johanna was wearing a black dress with flowers, while he wore a black shirt with Metallica and black pants. He took her hands inside his and observed them: "Oooh, you have such tiny hands. I love your black nails." She continued letting him hold and study her hand saying: "In comparison to you, my hands are small. Yours are big. And handsome."

He kissed her hand and she put her head in his lap and looked him into the eyes. He smiled at her and his eyes lingered on her face. "What?" "Nothing. You're so beautiful I can't take my eyes off you!" He lowered his head, closed his eyes, and kissed her on the lips tenderly.

"I missed that smile," he whispered smiling. "I missed your smile too," she replied. "You told me once you love wearing black during the summer. Don't you have sweat issues due to the heat? Do you truly always wear black in the summer and if yes, isn't it hard?" she inquisitively asked. "Well, yeah, I always wear black even in the summer and that's why I hate this season so much. At least it's not as hot where I live." Well, here you could think about switching clothes colors at least while you're in Romania since it is really hot here. Just for your comfort, so the heat isn't overwhelming for you. But I like you also the way you are dressed now and if you don't want to change it, it's perfectly fine." "I'll think about it."

Johanna kissed him on the lips and playfully grabbed his hands and joyfully danced around him. He yawned again and she asked him: "You seem tired. Want to get some sleep?" "Yeah. That would not be such a bad idea. Do you mind if I go home? We'll see each other tomorrow." "Hey, your health is more important. We still have some time afterward to see each other and make the most of it. You're staying for two weeks. Get some rest."' "Thanks," he replied and kissed her on the lips, then hugged her tightly before going home.

Few hours passed and Johanna read a book and played a game in this time on her console. The evening came and a message popped up from Josh on messenger:

Josh: "Hey, hon. how's it going?"

Johanna: "I am okay. How about you? Do you feel better now that you slept?"

Josh: "Yeah, I feel better. I also feel relieved we got to see each other again."

Johanna: "Me too."

Josh; "Listen, there's something I need to talk to you about."

Johanna: "Ok, sure."

Josh: "Before visiting you this time I felt like we should end this relationship. How would you feel about a breakup?"

Johanna: "Not great obviously. Do you want to break up with me now?"

Josh: "No. But honestly, I don't feel comfortable in a long-distance relationship. I just don't know if I will be able to have a long-distance relationship with you after this summer ends. And I wanted you to weigh in and tell me your opinion."

Johanna: "What do you want? What would make you happy?"

Josh: "I have no idea."

Johanna: "Don't you have an idea of what the future should look like?"

Josh: "Nope."

Johanna: "Okay. Then you don't need to make a decision right now. Let's enjoy the moment and see how things will pan out. Think about things. If you decide in favor of a breakup, tell me. I'll support you no matter what."
