Nina's first forest visit!!

"Did I misunderstand him?" Nina thought to herself, looking at Tala's expression. "However, it's best to be far away. He wouldn't like me in any case, and I tend to get affected by it every time I notice." she believed and continued with her breakfast.

As they completed eating, Tala and Nina stepped out of the house and drove towards a place where rare flowers grow. During the whole journey, both of them didn't talk. Nina didn't understand what she should talk about after behaving with his brother that way. On the other side, Tala wanted to explain how Ace helped her yesterday even without caring about himself, but he couldn't as he had to tell about Ace being a werewolf too.

Tala stopped the jeep on the right side of the non-metallic road. Nina got down and asked, "Why are we here?" looking at the trees with fat trunks on both sides. "We have to walk from here," Tala replied, walking into the thick forest.

Nina followed him with a camera in her hand and a cute bag hanging on her right shoulder. She placed every step carefully, not to slip on the wet mud. However, for the safe side, she wore a black tee and denim shorts. Even if she falls, black colour won't be discoloured and shorts to reduce the laundry time. She took care of the clothes, but her fear then was something else - the camera. Taking care of some else property, especially the company's was troubling her. She cussed and scolded herself for agreeing with James and taking the camera.

Pulling her lips tightly, "Is there anyone in the village who can use the camera?"

"Yup!! There is! The one whom you hate." Tala replied, smirking to himself. Staring at Tala's back, "Ace?" Nina astonished.

Nodding his head, "He is a member of one of the best photography clubs in our country."

"Ooooo!!" was all Nina could reply. "So, you don't want his help, right?"

Ignoring his question, "How much more should we walk?"

"Almost reached."

After few minutes, she could see a place in orangish-red colour. For a moment, she felt that the forest was on fire. On approaching nearer was when she realized that they were flowers. Watching Tala, still walking, she followed him, running her hand on the plants and breathing the very low floral smell.

Stopping at a point, "These are Fire Lilies, also called Flame Lilies. See the view around you. This is one of the beautiful places in the forest." As Tala said, she rotated in the same place and glanced at the beautiful scenery. Sitting on her toes, with the camera on her lap, she closely observed a flower. It seemed to have a unique trumpet shape. The stems looked distinct too, as they resembled leaves when grown out. Standing up and taking a step back, she adjusted her camera and kneeled to take a snap of the flower. After taking a few snapshots, she zoomed out the lens to take a wide-angle shot of the flowers surrounding her.

"Did you like it?" Tala asked, gazing at her face.

"Lovely!!!" she exclaimed, smiling brightly with made her cheeks raise. "Do you want me to click a picture for you? Tala asked, viewing her struggling to take a selfie with the camera.

"Sure! If you can!" she jumped in excitement, handing over the camera to him. "I may not take good pictures as my brother, but I can manage."

Nina smiled, although she didn't like Ace's name being bought up frequently. Making a 'V' with her fingers, she posed cutely to the photo.

"Next is the waterfall, right?" she asked Tala after he clicked the picture.

"It's half an hour walk from here. Is that fine for you?"

"What can I do even if it's not fine?" Nina pouted, stamping on a dry leaf near her leg.

"Hmmm...We might drive to the end, which is close to the waterfall."

Nina's mood lifted up, hearing that. She jumped, clapped and smiled widely, making her eyes squint. Tala grinned while shaking his head, watching her being excited about a small thing.

Nina accompanied him back to the jeep with the same level of enthusiasm. Though Tala felt like he was beside a little girl, he liked her company. Being surrounded by boys most of the time, he didn't know how cute and fun it was with girls. Even though there were werewolf girls, none approached the siblings, assuming they were proud of being educated.

Ace and Tala didn't show interest in them too. Frankly, they never found a common line or topic to discuss with them. Reaching the vehicle, Nina hopped inside and put on the music in her phone loud.

When a melody song played, he put her head slightly out, enjoying the breeze. For rap or bass songs, he swung her body and moved her body based on the beat.

Tala was shocked to see her mood change. Early in the morning, she cried and panicked the whole house, then shouted on Ace, later remained silent as if giving rest to her mood. After the rest, she bounced back with triple power that she was dancing, jumping, clapping, singing and shaking the whole vehicle.

After driving a crazy girl for few minutes, Tala stopped on a lean road filled with clay mud. Seeing the sticky mud and her light green shoes, she took out a packet of polythene covers from her bag. Tieing the covers to her shoes, he stepped out and trailed Tala.

In a couple of minutes, she heard the water gushing sound and just by a U-turn, she was in front of a waterfall.

"WOW!!"

"There's a beautiful beach, rare flowers, lovely waterfall and greenery around, but why aren't there any tourists?"

Scratching his forehead, Tala wished she continued in the child role for some more time. The detective and investigative character of Nina always terrified him. Her questions mostly made his rusted brain work, but for that doubt of hers, he didn't have an answer. All the ideas he got would make her suspicious about the village.

Deciding to speak rubbish, "Children here usually slid from the top of the waterfall for fun. Even I used to enjoy playing here in my childhood. As I grew up, I liked to stand here and watch the view. Have you been to any other waterfall?"

Nodding her head and grinning, "Just tell me that you don't want to answer my question."

Tala widely smiled, pressing his teeth.

"So, Did you actually play here?" Nina asked, arching her eyebrow and tilting her head slightly to the left.

Biting his lips and sighing, Tala shook his head in guilt.

Nina laughed loudly, holding her stomach, watching Tala's expression. Tala first looked at her with a remorse expression, but later it turned as if watching a huge diamond.

He was gazing at Nina with wide eyes and mouth hanging. His heart raced, watching her laugh warmly. Her loose hair was flying, exposing her soft, fair and long neck. Her pink lips stretched, cheekbones lifted, and her face turned red as she laughed.

"Beautiful!" Tala uttered with bulging eyes staring at Nina.
