Werewolves

Elyria had made a good enough plea to make me and her to share a table and talk in privacy.

"What do you need my help for?" I took a sip out of the cup of coffee handed to me by the waiter.

"I just want you to join my team so that I will be qualified enough to enter a very great dungeon with amazing rewards if cleared."

She spoke the truth at least, I was able to know that because of this ability of mine that instinctively tells me when someone under my willpower level lies to me.

"What will be my reward?" I closed my eyes as my hair began to get longer and longer, follows two pointy teeth sticking out of my lip corners.

"Thirty percent of the spoils." Elyria whispered to me with a smile on her face.

"Forty…" I countered curving both edges of my lips down in a frown.

I wanted to test how much she wanted me on board in the team.

"Agreed." Elyria pursed her lips as she looked away with furrowed eyebrows.

"Hello ladies how might I be of service?" A shameless man stood besides me with his right hand placed on the rim of the wooden chair I sat on.

He looked at me with lust in his eyes as he traced his finger across the rim of my chair.

"I would like you to leave now." Elyria growled angrily as she locked eyes with the man besides me.

I threw a 'I will kill you' glance at the man who grinned in absolute ignorance of my threat.

"I am sorry but that's out of the question." The man brought his face closer to mine, "Right flower?"

I smirk.

*Boom!

In one swift motion, My fist crashed into the man's face as the later was sent back meters back away from me.

Gasp.

Elyria covered her mouth with her hands in shock as she fixed her eyes on the shameless man who struggled to his feet.

"How dare you touch me?!" He roared madly as his eyes flared.

I probably broke some of his bones and made him lose some teeth but all will be well… Probably speaking.

"You might have…" Elyria points to the man with a wry smile.

"Broken a couple of his bones? Yes, apologizing? No." I walked away without even taking a glimpse back.

"Come back here b*tch!" The man screamed in rage staggering up to me with a very scary face.

I glanced back at him with a smirk as both of us locked eyes.

"Not today."

I got to my assigned dorm with a smile as my hands were in my pockets.

I looked to the distance as more memories of the past come to me.

September 30,

I was back at camp with my head rested on my brothers shoulders and a blanket covering both of us.

"We should have stayed in camp." My brother looked outside the window to the moon as his tone darkened.

"No we shouldn't have!" I argued loudly trying to press my point.

If we had we wouldn't have discovered that some creatures were actually residing in the woods.

He didn't even look at me making me a bit nervous.

"What happened to you?" I asked with sincere concern in my voice as I frowned deeply.

"Didn't you see those things?" He managed to speak with a low voice throwing another question at me.

"What you scared?" I breathed with furrowed brows taunting my brother.

He turned to look at me and my eyes widened.

"No."

He locked eyes with me as both of us frowned deeply the atmosphere tensing and seriousness on both of our faces.

"…"

I could no longer speak as if my voice was taken from me and my head was lowered.

"Those are what the rules warned about…" He shuts his eyes as a frown was plastered across his face.

"Werewolves?" I managed with a wry smile, "Those are just normal overgrown wolves."

My brother frowned.

"They might have been that except that normal wolves hunt in packs." The masked man and Kane walked into the room which was fairly furnished and dimly illuminated.

"Dad!" Both me and my brother screamed simultaneously immediately we saw our father come into the room.
