"Great," Noelle finally spoke, "Now you're just embarrassing both of us."
"Oh, quit yapping. Can't you just say the truth for once."
Noelle smiled as she turned to the students watching, "This isn't a movie premier you know, you can run along now." She added more action by shooing them with her hands. Eventually they left which got Alya irritated, she wanted to yell out more to put Xavier and all these hypocrites in deep trouble but something just kept telling her to hold on to the secret a little longer. For what exactly?? Maybe blackmailing?
"Don't tell me Jennette filled your head with such lies." Noelle started after the crowd had dispersed. "Not all rumors are true!"
"Did I not tell you to stop pretending with me?"
"Come on Alya.. get real."
Alya held her folder in the other hand as she waved her hands in the air as she spoke. "If I wasn't bitten last night, I would have actually believed this little show you are putting on."
At this point Noelle observed that Alya seemed so sure and sincere about it, someone couldn't argue with such assurance if that had just heard rumors.
But she refused to believe that an idiot in The Den will bite Alya and not finish the job of the call for blood. Besides even fantasy stories write about vampire bites, she could have even guessed it. Her only motive will be to stop Alya from saying or thinking about vampires.
"Can we talk about this after school?"
"No," Alya shot and turned to leave.
"Why not," Noelle said rushing behind her.
"I have a home to go to."
"Tomorrow lunch?"
"No, I have lunch by then."
Noelle stood perplexed and speechless, how could a human be so hard to deal with. But before any action was taken she had to know the moron that started this mess, that is if Alya's story is true. She strained her eyes to see if there was any visible bites on her neck. There wasn't.. that was not surprising, it's probably just a nightmare she had or something. She gave up and went to class.
After sitting down near Christian, Radica, Anna and Jewel.
"Okay," she started as she placed her books on the table. "Which one of you had a blood call last night?"
"Me?" Anna, Jewel and Christian chorused.
Jewel chuckled and laid her head on n Christian's chest, the teacher wasn't in class yet and they had all the time for romance.
"What kind of question is that?" Radica asked. It's like asking if they drank last night. They were vampires, how on earth could they survive without blood.
"Someone made a mess."
"Well, that's the person's problem, we shouldn't be taking responsibility for other's fall." Radica said and turned her attention back to her phone.
"What happened?" Jewel inquired.
"Alya claims she was bitten and I know for a fact that I didn't smell a lie when she was talking."
"Who's Alya?" Jewel asked snuggling under Christian's neck, she enjoyed his cologne scent and a mess someone made was the least of her worries.
"That Allison looking girl." Radica answered.
"Never heard of her." Jewel said.
"Wait, you guys seriously don't know the Alya situation?" Christian asked.
"Couldn't care less," Radica stated.
The teacher came in class and apologized saying he had an urgency in the staff room. Jewel got up from Christian's lap and went to her seat after she got a glare from the teacher.
"No electronics allowed, Radica" the teacher told her.
"Give me a second, I'm almost done." She texted for a few more seconds before she placed her phone in her bag. The teacher then continued with the lecture.
"It was Xavier who bit Alya," Christian whispered to Noelle from behind.
"Can you please stop this Christian, be serious for once," Noelle frowned.
"No, it's the bloody truth. We still tryna figure out how she's still breathing," Christian added.
Noelle rolled her eyes, "That's impossible." She whispered back with doubts filling her mind.
"You are telling me," Radica started with a lot of doubt in her mind, "that Xavier Mackay bit a human and after fifteen seconds she is still breathing oxygen?"
"Exactly," Christian said.
"You can't be serious," Jewel said.
Noelle turned around, "You better not be lying."
"Xavier is going to visit Murcy for answers today," Christian replied.
"I think I'm going to have a headache," Radica said and laid her head on her desk.
"The problems just keep getting bigger and bigger," Noelle said.

Alya drank her smoothie as she stared at Jennette wondering if she could keep the secret till she fully exposed Xavier. She could turn the entire school to believe her and put all vampires in the school in the spotlight. Jennette just got off a call and turned to Alya.
"I'm listening."
"Don't you find anything in the school strange?"
"What do you mean," Jennette asked.
"You are a press president, don't play dumb."
Jennette sighed, "I notice strange things, the whole school is strange."
"Especially Xavier and the others right?" Alya asked. "You wanna get your journalism game to the next level, I got a scoop for you."
At this point Jennette raised her eyebrows.
"So last night I had this urge to get down to the bottom of all this strangeness. So I went to the—" Alya stopped when summer walked to them. She frowned but kept quiet and took another sip of her smoothie.
"Babe, remember it's tonight at 6 o'clock PM."
