Melva had not expected to hear that out of Alden's mouth, but there was a more important thing she needed to hear from him and thankfully, Rosetta had conveyed that to Alden for her. Her mind was currently all over the place because she was overwhelmed with the anxiety at seeing Vance nearly losing his heartbeat. She could only nod at Rosetta's words in agreement.
