Part 22

Marsha was running here and there enjoying the wind that was blowing her body calmly. Even her long hair, which she always wore, was flying everywhere. She walked along the beach which would soon show its beauty because the sun was about to set. As for Alland, he just followed Marsha from behind the woman. Enjoying the sight of Marsha's body and the happiness that radiates on her face which is more beautiful than the scenery of the surrounding beach at this time.

Since earlier after they finished eating at Cotte Restaurant, Marsha had spoiled Alland to take her to the beach. He said the woman wanted to feel the beach breeze which she always missed. In fact, according to Alland, all wines taste the same. Marsha even whined and scolded her all the way because Alland didn't want to take her to the beach. Finally, because he couldn't bear to see Marsha's eyes starting to tear up, Alland agreed. With one condition, Marsha had to rest at the hotel first, then Alland would take her to the beach. And miraculously, Marsha immediately agreed.

And now, here they are. On a beach far from the crowds because this place is Alland's private beach. Up there was a simple villa that Alland had deliberately built to relieve his tiredness from all his work when he visited London. And because he was fed up with all the luxuries in his life, Villa Alland was built with such a simple interior.

"Gosh, hahaha."

Alland snapped out of his daydream to see Marsha who had suddenly fallen on the white sand that pampered their feet. Instead of being upset or crying, Marsha laughed out loud. This made Alland's heart warm again. Now he began to realize that he was trapped by his stupid game.

At first, he just wanted to make Marsha check her womb by approaching the woman and a little want to play around to relieve her tiredness. But now, he had even forgotten his original purpose and Alland didn't care about that at all anymore. Alland has started to accept Marsha in his life. To be honest, Alland already loves Marsha.

"Why did you fall?" he asked, who had helped Marsha up.

"Stumbled on my foot," she answered between laughs.

"Just like a child," Alland said while chuckling amused.

"You're a little weird, Alland," Marsha said suddenly while looking Alland right in the eye.

Alland raised an eyebrow.

"You're different, Alland is more fun now and i like it," she said trying to be honest while flashing her sweetest smile.

DEG.

Oh God, that smile is deadly Alland.

"You're the same," reply Alland.

Marsha nodded her head in approval. "When i looked around, i saw that you had a good side too. You saved me from that bastard Noah too."

"And i've another reason for that. Think of this change of mine as an expression of my gratitude to you." Marsha continued with a smile on her red lips.

"Other reason?"

"I'll tell you later," she said who then walked away, leaving Alland on the beach.

"Where are you going?" asked Alland who had grabbed her arm, forcing him not to go.

"I was going to sit there waiting for the sunset to come, but you don't seem willing to let me go." she said that on purpose because she wanted to tease Alland.

"You're just getting smarter," he said.

"Of course, because you taught me," she answered casually.

Marsha let go of Alland's hand, then sat down on the soft white sand.

"Here," ask Marsha while patting the sand next to her, Alland complied.

They looked up at the sky which was starting to turn silvery yellow. And a few minutes later the color turned a little darker as the sun, far away, began to set. Swallowed by the sea which is no longer visible and night finally came.

Marsha smiled fully. "That one was beautiful," she mumbled with a very happy look on her face.

Hearing Marsha's muttering, Alland turned slowly to Marsha and then he smiled full, just like what Marsha is doing right now.

"You're much more beautiful," he muttered subconsciously.

Marsha turned quickly. "You said something?" she asked which immediately made Alland turn his face away.

"No."

"I'm hungry," Marsha said while stroking her flat stomach.

This didn't go unnoticed by Alland.

"Me too. Would you like to cook for our dinner?" asked Alland to which Marsha immediately agreed.

"Of course! You know very well what I want to do, Alland. I love cooking." she said enthusiastically. Like a child who was given a balloon by her father.

Alland smiled happily seeing the gleam of happiness in Marsha's eyes. Hearing Marsha says that she is the best made Alland's heart warm again. His heartbeat was also racing hard enough.

"Why don't you just be a chef? Your cooking isn't bad," asked Alland who was curious about this.

Marsha's smile faded. The woman looked at him blankly, it made Alland curse himself for asking that. But what can he do, he has been curious since the beginning they were in Paris before.

"Ah, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to," he said sorry for Marsha.

"It's okay. Since I was little I've always wanted to be a chef. My uncle was happy to teach me, even though I took cooking lessons since I was in kindergarten. However, for some reason, I had to bury my dream deep and start pioneering artist." Marsha said who started the story.

Even though she shouldn't have told him, she believed in Alland. And doesn't know why, her feelings tell her that Alland is the right person for her to talk to. It was as if he would put his shoulder to comfort Marsha, put his fingers to wipe her tears and give her a warm hug that would comfort her.

"You don't have to bury it if you want to be a chef."

"You don't understand. I had to become an artist and get public attention to make me look stronger. Also, I need power."

Alland frowned in confusion. "Power? What do you need it all for?" he asked too early which made Marsha realize that she had gone too far.

"Forget it, I'm really hungry. Let's eat," ask her, who had left Alland before Alland returned to ask Marsha his question.

Alland looked at Marsha's departure with an unreadable gaze.

"I'm sure you're hiding something dangerous, Marsha. I can feel it."
