[Chapter 36] I pray to proto merlin's thighs daily

I updated Alex's stat page. Check it out since some of the images are updated as well.

~Next Morning~

"Mmm..." A particular snake god muttered out muffled words, eventually opening his eyes.

However, he quickly closed them again as the sun burned his eyes. "Stupid sun!" Alex shouted before summoning multiple shields above him to block the sun. None of them were typical, of course.

"Uhm..." Hearing the sound, Alex quickly became alert. Who could be with hi–

"Morning, Arti..." The golden-eyed boy mumbled while thinking about what had happened. He remembered asking to rest with her, expecting a rejection, yet–

He wasn't declined, it seems. Nero was going to kill him, that's for sure.

"Morning..." The blonde Saber quietly replied.

Alex then analyzed Artoria. She was wearing a blue jacket over a white t-shirt and black shorts.

Umu, very cute indeed.

Alex had to actively stop the urge to hug her as he spoke up. "Hungry?" He asked.

Before Arti could answer, a loud rumbling noise emitted from her stomach, causing her to look away.

How was this possible? IDK, ask the god of anime.

"I see." Alex nodded sagely before grabbing her hand and teleporting to the kitchen.

~Time Skip Because I'm Lazy~

A young boy was cooking with telekinesis while eating his part of the meal that was around %10 of it.

Who was eating the rest? A certain serial killer and a hungry King.

The tiny body of Jack was like a black hole, almost making him slow down time so he could keep up with her speed.

Artoria, who was eating in a fast yet elegant way, wasn't helping either.

Finally, the two black holes in front of him were full, causing him to sigh in relief.

Maybe he should create a clone for cooking, too?

"Thank you for the meal," Arti said before getting up from her seat.

"Thanks." Jack also got up, quickly skipping out of the room, probably towards Eresh's place.

"Should we summon Merlin now?" Alex asked as he got up from his seat as well.

"Yeah," Artoria said while shuddering. "He probably knows more than me."

Alex, who had noticed Arti's shuddering, raised an eyebrow yet didn't pry further.

Then, he teleported them out of the room. No way he was walking that distance.

~Location Change & Time Skip~

Alex looked at the white-haired man and woman before him, both of which had a smile on their face.

However, that smile was lost when they saw each other.

"Who are you?!" Merlin and Thicc Merlin asked each other with surprise.

"Hey." Alex waved at the Succubus and the Incubus, taking their attention.

"I didn't expect my Master to be a half-blood like me," Merlin said while examining him closely.

"Me too." Myrddin agreed with her counterpart. (A/N: Changed her name cause I don't want it to become confusing.)

"Still, it's good to see you again, little Artoria." Merlin smiled with relief. "I thought you died after accepting that offer."

"She kinda did, though," Alex mumbled softly. Jormungandr had made the Blue Saber a Heroic Spirit.

Shaking his head, Alex asked a question. "Tell me everything you know about that offer."

He was a wizard; he had to know more.

"Sure." The Dick Wizard nodded and started explaining.

–Time Skip–

"That's it?" Alex asked, dissatisfied.

"Yep." Merlin nodded. "If a great Wizard such as me only knows this much, I doubt anyone else can give you more info."

You might be asking why our protagonist didn't use Ganesha? Well, he tried back when he forced his brain into overdrive.

It didn't work. That's why Alex was betting on Merlin, yet–

This bastard didn't know much, either.

While Merlin and Alex were talking, Myrddin and Artoria were hitting off a conversation.

Well, Myrddin was doing the talking while Arti only answered.

"Out of 10, how much do you like my counterpart?" The Succubus asked.

"6," Artoria replied after thinking for a while.

"What did he do to you?"

"No comment." Arti decided not to answer and looked at her Master.

She hoped that Merlin wouldn't influence her Master too much.

A few more minutes passed before Alex and Merlin finally finished talking, saving poor Arti from The Thicc Merlin.

If Artoria disliked Merlin, then she hated his female version.

"Since I can't just de-summon you two." Alex took a breath. "Welcome."

"Great. I am interested in the red dragon." Merlin and Myrddin said at once.

"Which one?"

"The big one."

"Sure. Just don't let it come out of his lair." Alex answered with a sigh before touching the neck of both Merlins. "In case he proves too strong." The golden-eyed boy said while increasing Merlin and Myrddin's mana pools.

He had a large enough mana pool to sustain hundreds of Servants, the only limit being the amount they could use.

"Let's go, swordless me," Merlin said to his counterpart with a smirk, disappearing with a storm of flowers before two sharp vines appeared just under his feet.

"Tsk." Myrddin huffed out before disappearing as well.

"Do you think they will be fine?" Artoria asked after the Merlins disappeared.

"Yep. I feel bad for that lizard." Alex answered with pity. Two Grand-Caster candidates with a practically infinite supply of mana? That oversized lizard was a dead man. (A/N: Is Proto Merlin a Grand-Caster candidate?)

Brahma was a skill that required a high supply of mana. That's why he always seemed to run out when he created weapons.

"Oh." Artoria nodded with understanding after thinking about it.

"Now, I want to try something." Alex looked towards Arti. "Just how strong is your Excaliblast?"

Artoria, for some reason, shuddered.

"C'mon, we have to test it out!" With enthusiasm that caused considerable discomfort to the blonde king, Alex teleported them towards the Hub.

–Location Change–

"Master, is this required?" Artoria said as she felt her magic core strengthening.

"Yep. It has been eating my mind for so long." Alex instantly answered while retreating his hand from her neck.

"*Sigh* Okay." Arti nodded with compliance before unsheathing Excalibur from Avalon.

Alex pointed in front of her and created a mountain. Nonsupernatural things barely required any mana from him.

He didn't know that it was just his mana supply that could supply Brahma so easily.

Teleporting out there, Alex focused his mana towards Artoria, causing a dark blue and gold aura to form around her.

"Do it, Artoria!" He shouted while creating a pen and some paper. He wanted to look the part.

The blonde king raised her Holy Sword, making full use of the sheer amount of magic at her disposal.

It made her slightly dizzy.

"EX–"

A golden wave of dust started to revolve around her sword, forming a pillar of light that reached the stars.

"–CALIBUR!"

Her sword came crashing down, bringing a golden wave of light with it.

BOOOOOM!

The wave of light reached the mountain, quickly turning it into dust before continuing its path.

"Oh no."

As a specific serpent started to finally see the size of the problem, the wave of light burned a forest he had created.

"OH NO!" Realization dawned on Alex, causing him to teleport in front of the wave of Holy Power.

[Calculating trajectory... Trajectory calculated.] He summoned Terminus as Ganesha reported him things he already knew.

The silver and black bow was quickly loaded with an arrow while getting filled with mana.

"DO YOU KNOW HOW LONG I SPENT ON THAT SUMMONING ROOM?!" The Serpent of Reincarnation screamed before shooting the arrow with magic circles around it.

As the silver light collided with the golden light, a strange phenomenon occurred.

The previously golden light turned into liquid, multiplying and going into different directions before somehow colliding with itself.

BZZZT

Sparkles of black lightning appeared around the golden wave before turning into a mirror, deflecting a beam of Holy light.

Then, time slowed down to halt around the mess of energies, letting Artoria and Alex see the mess they produced.

"Fuck." Alex uttered out after seeing the destruction Excalibur caused. A several dozen-kilometer forest was reduced to ashes along with dozens of mountains.

Thankfully the summoning area was not touched by the wave of light.

Alex floated in front of the Excaliblast before inserting his hand into it.

Then, as if everything was a lie, the silver-golden ball of energy disappeared.

What actually happened? Well, Alex had just teleported the Excaliblast to another dimension.

"Arti," Alex called out to the king. "Let's never do that again."

"Yeah." Artoria nodded in agreement. "Are you going to return my core to normal?" She asked.

"Nah."

"I refuse. I didn't do anything to earn it."

"Then..." As Alex started to think of something Arti could do to repay him, The said woman was regretting her previous words.

Her Master would make an unreasonable request; she knew it.

"How about–" Just as Alex was about to say his request, a certain Mage of Flowers appeared.

"WE'RE BACK!" Merlin shouted while dragging a tiny red dragon with a chain. On his left was Myrddin who was holding the hand of a black-haired girl.

"I can't believe I was reduced to a house pet." The red dragon with a chain around its neck said. He was Great Red, also known as Baka Red.

"Shut up, Baka Red." The black-haired girl known as Ophis said before kicking the Red Dragon of Dreams.

"Dammit." The red dragon mumbled quietly, not wanting to anger the Dragon of Infinity.

And, just like that, another day passed for Alex, who slowly decided to not summon any more Servants.

1602 words! My hands hurt, lol. I feel bad for the authors who write 2K+ words a day.

Anyway, Merlins will be the last Servants summoned before the MCU arc, I think.

Good Day, you glorious bastards!
