Chapter 1

Faline

Breaking into a store and burning things was fun. Faline huffed, shaking the can of spray paint. He stood on his tippy toes, painting the big cat print, pink of course. "Faline?" Leo rolled his eyes. "We break into a store for you and all you do is this. " Faline flicked him off.

They were tasked to 'make it known who owns the city.' At least, that's what his dad had said. However, most of the others who were tasked with the job, just thought some graffiti would be good, but Faline had other ideas. "Come on, anyone can break into a store only to steal nothing. But if the Kitty Gang did it, it's now something. They need to know." He threw the can of pink spray paint to Leo, who caught it.

Tora, who had just pushed over a shelf of candy, rolled her eyes. "At least help me." Tora had a pistol on her hip, Faline could see it. Not that he cared. He had one too after all. Unlike the others, who only wore black, Faline had a leather bomber jacket, with pink crystals wrapping around the edge of the neck, with tight leather pants and a white shirt. Oh, he looked good.

He combed through his pink hair with a groan, stepping into the broken glass of the store. It was just a corner store, yet it would still create enough of a spark to get cops here fast. Though, the fifteen people who were told to be here didn't seem to care.

The glass cracked under his feet as he walked through the Black lighted store. Now he noticed that most of the store had a black color. The tiled floor, now covered in glass, the walls, counters everything. He indeed hated it. He took a small bag of strawberry-flavored gummy bears before grabbing Tora's bat and swinging it, hitting a table of advertisements.

They didn't choose this store randomly, why would they? Faline chose this store since the owner, Ali Bartly, was a part of the rival gang, Black Blood Gang. Now he knew why there was so much black.

Faline huffed, walking over to the counter. He rolled his wrist, swinging the bat before hitting the glass covering that shielded the register and addictive materials. He smiled softly. He had told everyone not to steal anything, and though it would be hypocritical, a bag of gummies and a pack of cigarettes wouldn't end the world. He hopped over the counter, letting his leather glove slide off the glass spread top, before softly landing on the ground. He turns back around.

"Welcome to asshole's Black Blood shop, how may I help you?" He joked, before turning back around. Tora, who had heard him, rolled her eyes. "Go shoot yourself. That would help all of us." Faline flicked her off. He grabbed a pack of cigarettes and a lighter, before pulling the shelf down, different boxes falling to the tiled ground. He took the lighter, flicking the button down making a flame sprout from the plastic grounding. He smiled.

He placed a cigarette in his mouth, lighting it. He sucked in a single breath, before sliding it out of his mouth. "Come on guys. We should probably start heading out soon." He muttered, hopping back over the countertop, and grabbing the bat. He sucked in another breath of smoke, leaving the burning cigarette in his mouth.

He walked out of the store, just in time to see three police cars zoom towards him. Shit.

Apollo

He looked at the photos of the last crime scene from his computer. Three casualties, all shot with the same gun, which was intriguing. He was put on the Kitty Gang case last year as the team's leader since they needed someone with an objective view of the gangs. They didn't know anything about him, didn't know much about the kitty Gang in general. Though, Apollo knew two things. They were good at hiding secrets, and they had pink hair.

The first photo was the aftermath. They had burned down a police station that caught one of their members. However, the confusing part was that three officers died from a gun. Everyone else got out alive. The office is in Yokohama, and the Kitty Gang tends to never go there. They tend to stay in their space, so why would they go all the way to a different city on the other side of the country, just to save one person?

Everyone has theories. But the statement that the Police Station of Yokohama said that, "Though we could not stop them from taking one of their own, we were able to get enough photo evidence to recognize the main suspect in the future." Leo rolled his eyes at that one. Leo had his theory; They just cared enough about whoever that member was, to save them.

Go into enemy territory, to save one person. And that gang member, who everyone calls KG4, didn't say a word. Even when the police took his DNA and face scan, the boy didn't say a thing. Leo had the transcript. KG4 must have been a really good member.

The second picture was a more gruesome one. It was the high point of a gang war, between the Kitty Gang and the Black Blood. In practically the square of the city, a shootout happened. The police, including Apollo, had to intervene. However, they weren't able to get a single gang member from either gang, but they did get intel.

A boy with pink hair had commanded the Kitty Gang to step down. Everyone calls him KG1. The leader. No one knew his name or saw him ever since, but he doesn't have pride, and Apollo thinks he has feelings. As if it was a book that was happening in real life. Apollo leans closer to the photo, looking around. There was a car turned, with guns pointed up. He sighed and twirled the wedding ring in his hand.

"Officer Apollo! Look what I have!" It was Monique, always having some form of goody for the working officer. Apollo turned in his spinny chair, looking over at the girl. "Yes Monique, I'm doing something right now." She rolled her eyes, handing him a breakfast sandwich. He smiled slightly. "Thank you." He said, turning back around. The other scoffed. "Don't eat that now!" She says, placing her hand on her hips.

Apollo raised an eyebrow, looking up at her. "Why not?" He slowly slid a tater tot into his mouth. "KG1, he's back."
