Chapter 2

Faline

September 14, 2019

"Oh hell no!" Faline yelled, grabbing a gun from his father's desk. "Faline! Faline!" He yelled. The boy just learned that one of his best friends, Tigris, got taken by the police. Faline turned back around to meet his father's eyes. "Why the hell did you let them take him!?" He asked. His father sighed, rubbing his forehead. "Faline, what are you going to do about that? He's not going to talk, we'll get him out-"

"Yes, we fucking will! If I have anything to say about it. That's my fucking friend, I am not about to let some dumbass police officers say otherwise!" He yelled angrily, his voice quieted the others in the room. He wasn't the gang leader, not yet. But he was 2nd in charge.

"Faline, you will not go to that station." Only to his father. Faline glared at him, his father glared back. Both waited for the other to stand down. Leo, who was one of Faline's guards, took a step towards the two. "He will be fine. We'll protect him."

Faline looked towards him but didn't say a word. His father sighed, laying his hand on the table. "Fine, get ready for the raid. But you're going to have to drive." He said simply, and Faline nodded. He stepped out of the room, Leo followed. He walked down the steps of the Kitty Gang hangout, looking around at the different members relaxing.

However, Gucci, who wasn't even a part of the Kitty Gang, stood up. "Woah, what's wrong with you?" He said, walking over to Faline. He turned to look at the blue-haired boy. "Get some of your people, We can't do this by ourselves."

Gucci seemed stunned, but he shook his head. "Faline, we can't. The police don't even know we exist, do you know what would happen if they find out"

"They can use our gear. Make it look like they are a part of our gang. No one's going to help since my father's not commanding. Please Gucci." He sighed, nodding his head. "What the hell are we even doing?" He asked, still somewhat hesitant. Faline smiled, hugging him lightly before stepping back. They have a long road ahead of them.

"We have a raid. We're going to get Tigris." He said, before walking into a brightly lit closet. He opened a drawer, finding a pink and black sniper rifle. He grabbed two pistols, and lastly,

A single matchbox.

Apollo

Monique nodded. "Yep, I know it's crazy. But he's back." The male officer quickly stood from his seat, turning off his computer. "We gotta go before they leave." He said quickly, Monique nodding her head. "All the other officers are ready, we only need you." He nodded sharply, running outside and towards the cars, Monique following him.

He slid into the passenger seat as Monique got into the driver. She gave a thumbs up to the other officers in the second car, before speeding off.

"How do we know what happened?" He asked, watching Monique on the main road. "A witness called and said that they saw a guy with pink hair drawing a pink paw print. She also saw other people, at least ten. She handed in a record of the call. Apollo played it.

"119, what's your emergency?" A female voice asked. He couldn't recognize who the person was, so he probably didn't know her. "Uhh… There are these people. I think they are robbers….. I'm on the other side of the street." The other girl whispered. Apollo glanced up at Monique, she shrugged.

"Can you tell me what's happening?" "Uh, there's this guy, he's spray painting stuff. And everyone else has weapons. And… um, there's this girl….. She's breaking stuff in the store." She said, yep sounded like a young girl. "Can you tell me the address?" The operator asked. The girl stayed quiet for a moment Before gasping. "Oh my god… uhh sorry. It's 3700 Summer Crest Road." She whispered. "They, the guy, the one with the pink hair. He shot someone or something." She mumbled, her voice seemingly muffled by something.

"Ok ma'am, officers have been dispatched and are on the way. Can you tell me what's happening?" She stayed quiet for a second. "Uh, the guy who shot someone, he's getting yelled at….. I can hear it. He is talking about rules." "Whose saying that?" More silence. "A girl is. But, I don't think they're yelling anymore." She said quietly. That's when the girl hung up.

Apollo rubbed his forehead. "Jeez, ok. So KG1 was getting yelled at by a girl. Maybe he wasn't allowed to kill anyone. That would mean he wasn't the leader." He hummed. Monique sipped on her coffee. "That's my assumption. Maybe he didn't even shoot anything. Maybe he just shot the gun. That could be why she was yelling since a gun makes a loud noise." Apollo shrugged, it was a good idea.

The two police cars turned into Summer Crest. "Get ready," Monique warned, causing Apollo to roll his eyes. "I am ready. Was born that way." She scoffed, hitting him lightly on the arm. "I heard KG1 was cute, and he flirts with police officers." She chuckled. Apollo rolled his eyes.

"Thank god I'm in love with my wife then." Monique slowed down, quickly turning the car into the grass surrounding the ruined market. All four police officers got out of the car quickly, grabbing their issued weapons and pointing them at the gang members.

There were more than 10, and only four officers. How were they supposed to win? They all seemed to be shocked that we were here. They all had similar outfits on, all with black... The corner store was broken into, with glass everywhere and isles lowered.

Faline

Just great, police. They were always here to ruin the show. He sighed, watching them quickly get out of the car, instantly pointing their guns at us. What's up with police officers and guns, it's like they're always trigger happy. He glanced back at the other gang members, they were all looking at him, waiting for his command to shoot. "Get rid of your weapons and put your hands up!" One guy said. Faline looked over.

He seemed young, no age on him. He recognized the officer, he was the one from the shootout. He wondered if the officer recognized him. They changed very few words between each other, and most were sarcastic, but still, he remembered. He sucked in another breath from the cigarette, taking it out to blow out the smoke.

It was fifteen vs. four, they must be idiots if they thought they would win. But Faline didn't feel like killing people, besides his 'best officer friend' was in the crowd. "Armed up!" Faline yelled, causing the fourteen other gang members to line up their guns to the officers. No one shot, instead just pointing their guns.

"Black and Blue vs. Black and Pink. What an interesting combination."

Apollo

His eyes went directly to the voice, it was him. KG1, pink hair and all. He looked different from the photos he was looking at. He was the only one who didn't point his gun at anyone. All Apollo would have to do was aim his gun at the boy, and pull the trigger.

He watched him walk to the middle, watching each officer for any movement. There was a difference between them. The police abide by rules, gangs break those said rules. They couldn't shoot if he wanted, but all the gang leader needs to do is say the word and-

"You. Brown hair with streaks. Let's have a little talk." KG1 said, pointing to Apollo. He had an eyebrow raised, his head tilted to the side. Everyone was now looking at the officer. He was the leader of this case, so it would make sense. He sighed, nodding his head. He lowered his gun, placing it back in the holster.

"But, tell your gang to stand down," Apollo says, looking up at KG1. He could tell the other didn't expect that and silently stared at him. "You first." He said. Apollo continued to glare at him, watching to see if he will break the stare first. "It's fifteen to four, be a little considerate," Apollo said with a shrug.

KG1 continued to watch him, before sharply nodding. He turned back to the others, nodding towards them.
