" I don't care anymore mom! I just don't care. Stop embarrassing me!"

The woman's heart ached as she took in her daughter's words. One would think she was betrayed.

It felt so to her anyways. Ava noticed her mother's expression but ignored it. She was frustrated by everything happening around her.

It was all that girl's fault. No! That's not right. She wasn't even a girl. She was a monster.

Lila wasn't the only issue she was facing. Colt's escape was a blow to her ego. It wasn't that she worried for him.

She only cared because he left. Her source of obsession wasn't around to feed her ego nor satisfy her need for control.

Ava stood up throwing everything on the table around. She didn't touch it using her hand. Rather, she blew it off using the air that she had gathered.

Her mother flinched as the hot cup of coffee poured all over her classy dress. She couldn't defend herself nor dodge. It was because she was just an ordinary human.
