The warehouse reeked of mildew, rust, and ammonia. It had been long abandoned by whoever previously owned and used it. The shabby look, dripping pipes, and burned out lights indicated exactly how little care had been given to in recent times.

For the purpose it was currently being used for, these things didn't matter much as it simply served for a temporary storing until for unfortunate vermin who dared to cross the bath of the Black Star pack and mafia.

The large metal door creaked in protest as Bane shoved it open a couple of inches allowing the sunlight to briefly fill the front of the room. He hardly took two steps in before the scent of blood filled his nose. He hoped that they hadn't already had all the fun and ended up killing the miscreant before he had a chance to let off some steam.

Aster was standing near the middle of the room with four other men nearby. The outline of a figure tied to a chair with it's head bowed could vaguely be made out as Bane got closer. That figure was the target of his interest. One he hoped wouldn't disappoint him after he made the rather long drive to see them.

"Well? I hope that you didn't kill him before I got here?" The alpha teased, though he couldn't blame his packmates if they had considering how worked up they were over the situation at him.

"No alpha. He might look like that, but he's got a lot of fighting spirit in him. I got the things that you asked together. Do you really think that it will be necessary to go that far?" Aster asked, not out of guilt for he didn't care about hurting the human. More out of the fact that he was curious if someone could be as stubborn as to hold out enough to make Bane decided upon what he did.

"I think that we'll have our answer to that just a few minutes." Bane replied as he approached the figure in the chair.

The man that they had managed to catch had been part of a hunting group who had killed one of his scouts. His mate who had been left behind was so devastated that she had hardly been able to hold herself together if it wasn't for the pups that she was carrying inside of herself.

Bane hoped that finding whoever was responsible and making them sure would help to console her a little bit even if he couldn't do anything to bring her mate back.

For his human side, it was a dark reminder of why he was so hesitant to let his wolf claim Celeste as his own. Drawing her into his world would put her at a greater risk of being killed and only being a human would make her an even bigger target as she wouldn't have the same skills and abilities to defend herself as she would've if she had been born a werewolf.

"Wake up!" he barked as he gave the chair a decent shove with this foot causing the figure to let out a low groan as they tried to shift only to realize that they were still tied up.

"You filthy animals." the man spat, glaring daggers up at the alpha despite his bloodied face, black eye, and bruised lip. His men certainly had done a number on him, but like his beta said- the man had more than enough fighting spirit left in him that the alpha would be able to have a little bit of fun.

"Filthy animals? I believe that the only filthy thing around here would yourself." Bane remarked before he backhanded the man tied to the chair. The other cursed as his the alpha could feel the human's cheek bone crunch and break under the force he used.

He grimaced when he realized that he had gotten blood on his hand.

"Disgusting." He sneered at the blood before motion for one of the other men to get him something to wipe his hand off on. There was something repulsive to the alpha about the smell and feel of human blood.

"You know that you're all going to die in the end. Hunted down, tortured, and killed like the monsters that you are." the man spoke again, coughing slightly before spitting blood onto the floor most likely from a cut inside his mouth.

"What interesting concept. Is that really something though that someone in your position should be saying?" The alpha questioned as he reached forward to grab the other. The man flinched back slightly but didn't really have anywhere to get away to and thus couldn't stop Bane from picking him up by his neck and using his strength to lift both the chair and human above his head.

"Now, I am going to ask you once nicely and you will give the answer I am looking for, alright?" He asked but knew that the other wouldn't likely be able to respond due to the lack of oxygen from the way that he was being held. That didn't stop the other from pausing for a few seconds before he asked the question he wanted an answer to.

"Where are the rest of your men?" rather than giving him the response he wanted however, the man simply smirked and let out a cough of a laugh as he struggled to breath before spitting in the werewolf's face.

It took all of Bane's self-control to not throw the man across the floor. He couldn't kill him when he didn't yet have the answer to the question that he was looking for. He needed patience if he was properly going to avenge what happened.

He didn't hesitate to punch the other in the stomach when he set him down, effectively knock the human and chair back. Bane stepped away and took a deep breath before he turned his attention back to Aster who had been watching and waiting patiently for the next set of orders.

Has it been heated to the right temperature?" He asked his beta with the other men set the chair and human back up right. The man cursed and spit at them but to avail since he couldn't actually do anything in his current situation.

"Yes, how do you want to go about doing this though?" Aster asked as he stepped to the side so that the other could see the pot that had been heated. Luckily there had still be electricity running through the warehouse so they didn't have to transport the warm liquid from elsewhere and risk it cooling off to soon.

"I'll do it if you can hand me those gloves. I'll just need someone to hold him for me. You know how squirmy they can get during this process." Bane replied as he took hold of the thick leather work gloves that Aster gave him. His Beta put on a pair as well knowing that he would need to keep them on for protection as well.

"Now human, are you really sure that you don't want to give me the answer that I am looking for?" Bane asked, offering the human another chance to speak as some of the liquid was poured into a metal container. He tilted his head when the human just glared at him though he could tell that he was slightly nervous about what was getting ready to happen as he saw the man glancing over at his beta from the corner of his eye.

"Time is ticking and if you don't give me the response I'm looking for, I can assure you that you'll quickly come to regret your decision within less than five minutes." What the alpha said wasn't just a threat, it was a dark promise of what was about to happen to the human if he didn't cooperate with them.

"Have it your way then. Don't blame me though when your in so much pain you'll be begging for me to end your life." Bane sighed as Aster approached with the metal container.

One of the other werewolves untied the man's left hand while the other wrapped his arms around the man and chair in order to make sure that he other wouldn't be able to move too much.

Moved the container closer so that it was near the human's left hand while Bane reached forward and grasped it.

"What the hell is that?" The man asked as he tried to pull his hand out of the other's hold as he moved it closer to the container. The liquid inside looked like creamy, off colored water.

"I'm sure you've heard of lie before and the type of effects that once heated up it can have when it comes into contact with human skin?" Bane inquired. The look on the man's face said that he didn't quite know what the other was talking about, but that whatever was going to happen wasn't good.

Once the container was moved close enough and he was certain that the human wouldn't be able to break his hand free. He took the last two fingers and dipped them into the liquid.

A few seconds passed before the man started to react. The anguish screams he let out as he felt the liquid burn his fingers would likely have been able to be heard outside of the warehouse had anyone been around.

Bane didn't care however and had no intention of letting the other's hand go until he was willing to speak. Once he got what he wanted, he would be handing the human over to the werewolf whose mate he had been responsible in helping to kill. What kind of death he faced at that point would be up to her.
