" Amanda, get inside the house at this instant, neighbors are loving the show." Her dad shouted at her, pointing his index finger towards the house.
She gave me a look. That look hurt me and I felt terrified. Her eyes asked me a trillion questions and her face had that 'just got betrayed' look.
I didn't feel like to utter another word, I just wanted to get back home and write something on my paper.
She walked to her house along with her parents. I was left alone on the road with my cycle and few audience from the near by houses staring at me.
I cycled to my house with an empty mind and reached home.
" Where in the world were you? You could've at least left me a message."
Aunt Kylie came screaming from the door.
Everything around me felt like floating and I felt myself unbalanced. My mind clouded with my past memories that I hate to remember.
" What's wrong?" Aunt's voice was now lowered.
" Is everything okay dear?" She asked me.
" Well, I've been better." I replied and walked to my room. On the way, I looked into Leah's room and she was already asleep.
" Peter's been calling me, I told him that I'll head out once you are back. You know your uncle, he really hates when I stand here for long. So, I am heading out. Your dinner is in the oven, heat it and go take a long calm sleep and don't worry, everything's going to be fine." She said and went back to her house.
I locked my room and sat on my chair with a paper and pen in my hand.
' You slip away when I get hold of you,
and one day finally I got to leave my words unspoken on your lips
but then again, you go away leaving me immortal in the love that you gave.'
