Anything? Nothing!

" Sir the CCTV cameras have been damaged." Paul spoke through the phone.

" What do you mean by damaged?"

"For the past three days, it's been under maintenance." He spoke.

Lucky bastards! That door is closed now. This case will take longer to solve than I thought. I drove my car to Mr. Williams house. I saw Emma's car parked near the house which means she is in there. I took my cigarette, pulled up my pants, corrected my socks and got out of the car.

I walked into the first room on the right and saw Emma talking with the old lady.

I pretended to clear my throat to catch their attention.

" Ha, Sir. Please come have a seat." She said seriously.

When she calls me 'sir', it gives me an electric shock. I walked closer and took a seat near them.

" What about it?" I asked to get an overview of the situation.

" She says, Amanda is the sweetest girl. She even cried and prayed for him." Emma summed up their whole conversation.

" That's it?"

" Yes sir, that's it."

She walked out the room with me silently. How can she act so normal with me?

" Actually, I sense something is wrong with the 'Bella suicide'. She was a family member, Godwin's cousin. She killed herself. Should I dig into it?" She asked.

" Ha, Bella. I almost forgot about her. I saw her in their family portrait. Yes, get me more information about that." I took my way back to the car and drove to a coffee house.

I contacted the other two officers on the way, who were assigned to keep an eye on Lijah and Amanda.

" What's new?"

" Nothing so far sir. I think they are innocent little teens. They are peacefully sleeping in their room." He spoke.

" Ok, you guys resume your job tomorrow. No need of any rush because technically what you are doing is against law and you know that right? Following and watching people, trespassing over their properties and so on. So, keep it light and they are not our confirmed suspects."

I hung up the call and lighted a cigarette. Maybe those kids got nothing to do with his missing. I must go meet Amanda tomorrow evening. Need to get few things from her.
