Baka

"Hiroshi, when I call you out loud, why did all the students turn their attention to us?" asks Naoki curiously.

"I don't know. Probably because your voice was too loud?" Hiroshi nonchalantly replied

"Really? I guess that makes sense," commented Naoki, "Humans sure are uncanny."

"Now go home. I am mentally and physically tired. Bye-bye, Naoki," waves Hiroshi. Hiroshi, trying to get rid of Naoki, walks as fast as possible after Hiroshi waves Naoki goodbye.

"Oh, I can't come to visit your house? I thought we are friends," nags Naoki, who is trying to catch up with the fast walking Hiroshi.

"No, we are not that close for you to visit my house. Stop following me, Naoki," replies Hiroshi with an annoyance of constantly getting rid of Naoki at school and on his way home.

"No, sir." With persistence in his mind, Naoki keeps following Hiroshi. Hiroshi begins running like a leopard as he takes a left turn and right turns, hoping Naoki would finally lose Hiroshi's track and goes back home.

"Why is this baka(also means idiot) running?" thought Naoki, "Is he running away from me? Is he trying to make me lost in this neighbor? Oh, that baka sure is smart. I should give him a surprise."  After organizing his thought, Naoki slows down his running speed and pretends to be out of breath after a few more minutes of running. Hiroshi, thinking he has finally lost his track to Naoki, happily walks back to his home. When Hiroshi arrives home, he lets out a sigh of relief. Entering his house, Hiroshi finds Naoki comfortably sitting on his couch in his living room.

"Suprise Hiroshi! Do you miss me?" jokes Naoki.

"Whaa... What?! Waaiittt, How do you manage to get into my house? Oh wait, actually never mind, you use the teleportation magic, correct?" guesses Hiroshi.

"Shit! Now he is in the house." thought Hiroshi while he is facepalming mentally," Well, since he is here. I might as well go along with it."

"Correct." Naoki puts a thumb up to Hiroshi, who has guessed the answer correct. Hiroshi walks towards his kitchen and prepares two cups of tea to enjoy themselves while they have a chat.

"Oh right, Do you want to know what the classmates were talking about after we left the class?"

"No, I don't." Hiroshi, without a hit of emotions written on his face as he answers Naoki's question. Handing a sweet aroma cup of tea to Naoki, Hiroshi sits beside Naoki on the couch.

"I wonder why you are so cold-hearted towards your classmates," states Naoki. Naoki, sipping the tea, glances at Hiroshi to see the shock of realization in Hiroshi's eyes. Hiroshi's eyes widen in realization as he has no logical reasons to be hostile towards his classmates.

"I...I don't know. I don't remember since when it all begins like that," says Hiroshi as he lowers his eyes and stares at his cup of tea.

"Naoki, do you have emotions?" Hiroshi's sudden shocks Naoki as he has never thought of the emotions he might have within himself.

"I think so. I am not sure. I can feel things, but sometimes I can't describe what I sense. Do you get what I mean?" Naoki looks at Hiroshi in hopes that Hiroshi would understand.

"Sort of, I guess. I guess even the King of Doom has somewhat emotions. I can't feel emotions anymore. I do feel depressed and anxious most of the days. I lost the emotions of feeling happy and being loved since Kenzo passed away. I feel like I am a living dead person who doesn't know what to do next. I feel like I am wearing a mask to suppress the depression and anxiety inside me. I don't even know why I am telling you this," expresses Hiroshi and smirks mockingly.

"Oh, I see. I am not good at giving emotion consoling or giving good advice on this type of subject," said Naoki. Naoki reaches his hand out towards Hiroshi's back and begins patting Hiroshi's back.

"I think it works like this, right? I am not sure. I see in the movie that people console the sad one like that," recalled Naoki, who is putting a great effort into making Hiroshi feels better about his situation.

"Hiroshi, do you have friends in the past besides Kenzo?" questions Naoki as he tries to change the subject.

"This is the stupidest thing I have done in my entire life. I can't even properly change the subjects to make him feels better," thought Naoki.

"Yes, I used to. Why?" asked Hiroshi, curious of the sudden question of Naoki.

"I am curious, you know. Oh, were you always introverted since you were young?"

"Yes, I guess," answers Hiroshi. Hiroshi places his cup of tea on the table in front of the couch.

"Baka, why are you answering my questions in short form? Are you even listening to my question carefully?" asks Naoki in rage. Hiroshi's eyelids begin to feel the heavy force of gravity, and slowly Hiroshi falls asleep on the couch beside Naoki. Hiroshi's body slowly leans and slides toward Naoki. When Hiroshi's head places on Naoki's shoulder unconsciously, Naoki is surprised to see that Hiroshi has fallen asleep soundly on his shoulder. Naoki softly pokes Hiroshi's cheeks to make sure Hiroshi is sleeping. The surrounding becomes ghost quiet like they were the only people left in the world. Making sure that Hiroshi is sleeping, Naoki, with an adoring soft facial appearance, studies Hiroshi's face carefully. Naoki stops when he sees Hiroshi's soft rosy reddish lips.

"His lip looks soft. I want to kiss it again," thought Naoki, "oh shit. Wait, what? What did I think about?" Naoki is fully blown away with his absurd thought of kissing Hiroshi shooks his bone to the core.

"Why do I feel like I know you forever?" mumbles Naoki in one breath, "I don't know what's wrong with me after you accidentally kissed me on the rooftop." Naoki rests his head on Hiroshi's and slowly falls asleep, but not into a deep sleep.

"Hiroshi, you look peaceful when you are in your deep sleep. It doesn't seem to change the fact. You look just the same as you used to in the past," slips out of Naoki's mouth. Naoki's eyes open wide. Naoki, who is aware of what had happened with the situation, is dismayed to find himself talking about Hiroshi as if he has seen Hiroshi sleeps for a long time. Naoki has never seen, not even once, how Hiroshi looks when Hiroshi is in his deep sleep except right now in the living room of Hiroshi's house.
