Melon-Puke

Hey, Shun here!

I've always wondered why I had a pretty easy time understanding how to wield cold weapons even before deciding to practice on using them.

It's like some kind of muscle memory ingrained in my body. However, I don't remember ever training on those weapons even in my past life.

I wonder what this is? Some secret cheat or something?

(Shun's POV)

It's my eight day in a fantasy world. Spending six days in hard labor, as expected, made me feel absolutely spent.

Thus, I slept for a full day and woke up during the morning of the eight day. Man, sleeping in a memory foam mattress feels so refreshing.

"*yawn*! Oh, God that was such a good sleep. Good morning guys."

"Squeak! Good, morning, master!"

"Morning Shun. You should sleep more, you know? You worked hard, after all."

"Good morning Tsuka, Rokuko. Also, it's fine Rokuko. I need to work out and do my daily training or else I'll get rusty."

"Is that the weird dance that you do every morning, Shun? Why do you do that, anyway?"

"To train my body, of course. Do you want to join me? I could teach you on how to actually wield a sword as well."

"Hmm? Really!? Then, can I? Can I!?"

"Squeak!? Tsuka, too!?"

"Sure. I just said you can. Also, you pretty much already know how to wield a dagger but I guess you could join in as well, Tsuka."

And so, I trained Rokuko in swordsmanship. During our training, I found out that she pretty much have no knowledge about how to wield a sword.

"Why is this so hard Shun!? Isn't my swing like yours?"

"Not quite, Rokuko. You did manage to copy my movements but there was no power within that swing…"

Eh, how to put it. She just swung her wooden sword in a haphazard manner. Heck, her eyes are even closed while she did so.

There's still a long way ahead of her if she wanted to learn swordsmanship. Maybe we should just make her learn magic?

"I'm gonna do this! Yep! HAAA!"

Okay, it looks like she's extremely motivated right now. There's no way she's gonna stop even if I tell her to.

Let's leave it as it is, then.

Two hours later, Rokuko is sprawled on the Master Room, breathing heavily. Currently, she is in her energy saving mode, meaning, she is loli Rokuko right now.

"That training was so hard, Shun. Can't you go easy on me?"

"I know it was hard but that was the easiest training I could think of to make you learn faster."

"It's the easiest!? You're really such a weird human, Shun."

Once our training was done, I checked up on the bandits. Are they doing well still?

If I remember correctly, there should still be four of them left inside that room.

『Boss, who do you think locked us inside this godforsaken room?』

『It was the rabbit! I should have killed that darn critter the moment I saw it!』

『I should have gone to the slums and f*cked some cheap b****** before I die like this…』

The slums? Oh, right. There are places like that even on the Earth my past self used to live in.

Even in my Earth where the economy is really high, many people still live in slums. I should maybe go check it out.

I'm no saint but I wish to save whomever I can. Helping someone when you have the means to is something even a normal person does, isn't that so?

『Maybe if I didn't eat that rotten melon and puked on the dining table, I wouldn't be in this mess…』

『Is it that dinner you had with the princess, boss? I did hear some adventurers say that you have an alias of Melon-Puke or something…』

『What!? You were that shameless fellow who puked up a melon while dining with the princess?! Everybody talked about it for some time! They also called you vomit-face.』

『Shut up Brakin, and you too! For the last f*cking time! I just puked because the melon I ate was f*ckin' rotten! It wasn't my fault! Why'd she have to fucking put a bounty over my head?! FUUUCK!』

Is it because they are about to die that these lackeys have no fear of their boss now?

『Oh, I heard about that, too. Not only did he eat too much and throw up as a result, but he unjustly blamed the chef for serving rotten food and killed him, as well! Right in front of the princess, too!』

『Dang, that's hilarious!』

『SHUT UP! He was just jealous because the princess had fallen in love with me! I'd be the emperor right now if it weren't for him! Fucking damnit!』

Oh, that's some wild fantasy right there, good sir.

Also, what's with that wild life story of yours, sir Melon-Puke? Are you the protagonist of some tragedy-slash-romance story?

『I should have been the emperor right now, eating every melon I wanted!』

Scratch that. Sir Melon-Puke is just an idiot.

After that, even though he's feeling weak — not having any meal during these last few days — Melon-Puke fought with his lackeys.

Did he forget that he'll literally die in a few days if he kills his lackey which is supplying them with water with Survival Magic?

"He's an idiot, alright."

I watched as the four of them literally fight until their last breath. I wonder what this is? I don't feel anything even though I literally saw them die…

Once they all died inside the dungeon, I calculated the total DP we earned from them dying and absorbing their corpses.

"So we earned 5,612 DP from that…"

(Rokuko's POV)

"Hmmm~♪ What do I do now, I wonder~?" I mumbled to myself.

Happy… Mhm. That's right. I'm extremely happy.

I've spent sooo much time with Shun and Tsuka lately that I'm feeling really over the moon lately. This is weird. I've spent my whole life by myself, but I've never felt this happy before.

Ah, no. Maybe I'm also really happy when Dungeon Core No. 89 visits me but this is a different kind of happy! I'm happy because my dungeon is finally getting a lot more stronger and I also have some new friends with me!

My partner, my Dungeon Master, is really weird. When I first summoned him, he really was quite scary! Like, really scary!

But! After talking with him for some time, I found out that he was just a weird human. He even have such a weird bunny with him that's absolutely cute!

I'm now friends with her. Her name is Tsuka, by the way.

Anyway, back to my weird Dungeon Master, Shun. I summoned Shun when bandits conquered my dungeon and he got rid of them for me. In an instant, as well.

He imprisoned all the bandits, and then started making weird golems. Mhm. My life's changed a whole lot ever since Shun became my Dungeon Master.

Thinking about it, my dungeon's a lot bigger than it used to be. Plus, I have way, way more DP than I ever had before. And it's only getting started!

Our plan is making an Inn that we will build near our dungeon. The reason why we are making our dungeon attractive to many adventurers is because we wanted them to visit our dungeon more and more and rely on it for their livelihoods.

The inn is just so that we could earn more DP by ripping off money from them. Oh, and, we earn more DP from them without them knowing since, every time they rent an inn and close their doors, that will double our earnings!

Amazing plan, right?

I know, right? It's similar to how Dungeon Core No. 89 did it! That's why I'm extra happy about this plan. Being similar to Dungeon Core No. 89 is one of my dreams, after all.

However, Shun said something about getting a backing in order for our shop to be more smooth sailing. I wonder when we will get that 'backing' something, I wonder?

I bite into my [Hamburger]. Even this treat is something I owe to him. And… uh-huh. It tastes delicious. It's delicious, really delicious.

"Mmm! So good! Ah, right. I should probably check on the golems. Shun said something about making new golems for our rooms and new traps so I guess I should work on finishing up the remaining rooms!"
