MY PLACE

"We need to go, I have completed the discharge procedures." Ren said as she walked into the room with some paper works.

"Hmm, okay. Let me just freshen up." Noah said as he proceeded to the washroom.

Lia looked confused at the boy who just casually left the bed as if he knows everything that is happening around him. Ren looked happier than ever as if she would burst out anytime with that pink cheeks of her. Lia didn't know what discharging him means and where they were supposed to go. She looked at Ren who was packing some strips and metal covers in a bag, then proceeding to pull down some sheets over the window.

"What are you staring at?" Ren asked as soon as she noticed the girl giving her a death stare as if it was a warning for her dear life.

"What is happening here and where are we going?"

"Hmm? Then do you want to stay in the hospital for ever? His leg is pretty much fine and I have prescribed the tablets for him too so he can rest at home too."

"Which home?" Lia asked with a slight frown as she didn't like the tone in Ren's voice.

"My? Why? Is that something impossible?" The girl smirked and huffed as she noticed Noah coming to the room with a towel in his hand, wiping his face carefully.

"You need a help to walk because the stitches are still fresh." Ren hesitantly said as she held his hand in order for a support.

"No, I can manage." He mouthed but anyways took her hand as he could feel the stitch pulling his skin apart.

"I will help him, you can go." Lia growled as she literally yanked Ren's hand off him.

"Hey, what is wrong with you?" Ren asked while inspecting her hands which slightly turned red as Lia was much stronger than her.

"Are you hurt?" Noah asked noticing the girl.

"No, I am fine but ask your 'friend' to be a little careful."

The word 'friend' was a little highlighted as she spoke which directly pierced Lia's heart for no particular reason. Two days with the boy and she had already lost herself to him, as if he was pulling her more to him but that shouldn't happen. Noah was unbothered by everything and looked totally comfortable with the sudden changes as he followed Ren out of the room.

"Where are we going?" Lia whispered to him.

"To her house for a few days until we find a new place to stay."

"Why do we have to her house? Can't we find a house right now?" Lia was desperate that she wouldn't go with Ren especially after the way she behaved with Noah.

"It is not that easy to find a house in a day and then we need to furnish it and buy the essentials. We need a few days to settle down." He answered but his face was kind of annoyed.

Lia was happy that he told her they would move out soon and that too to another house all by themselves. She was really not jealous about him being close to Ren or anything but the fact that Ren is a human and he is a werewolf was bothering her. Ren has been treating her as an outcast while giving all the attention in the world to the boy alone, the way she looked at Noah and the way she offered help.

"You both can go to the car which is the red one parked to the side of the second building. I will submit these paper works to my senior and would join you." Ren said as she tossed the key to the boy.

"Okay." Noah answered as he caught the key effortlessly.

"What is a car?" Lia asked still confused.

"That is the vehicle which would take us to her house. Can you stop asking these questions and try to learn on your own?" He huffed, letting her grip go loose as he circled his hands in the air.

"How am I supposed to learn on my own? How do you know all of these in a night? Did she teach you everything just like that?"

"I have brains and I can learn on my own." He proceeded to the car as he unlocked it and sat in the back seat.

Lia still didn't understand the situation that she looked around to see a lot of vehicles being parked which was of the same kind but a little different. She followed the boy's action and sat in the other side of the vehicle. She made sure that her hands and legs are safe before closing the door. It felt as if she was locked in a glass cage and it reminded her of the last night when Noah was locked in the cage.

"Don't worry. This is normal here and we are not locked for ever." Noah said as his deep voice, echoed in the closed car.

Lia didn't answer to him but instead decided to just look out through the window. How much ever she tried to feel safe, next to him something or the other made her question it. She wanted to go back to her realm and punish Oliver for his mistakes. She wanted to make sure that her pack is safe and that Oliver wouldn't take his anger out on her family for her missing.

"He wouldn't hurt anyone for your missing." Noah said as if he read her mind.

"What?" Lia asked pretending to not know why he said that and on what context.

"I can read your mind, it is a little too loud." He breathed out as he closed his eyes, and stretched to the seat making himself more comfortable.

"I don't feel like staying here, do you mind if I go back?"

"Not with the cubs. It is dangerous for them."

All that he cared for were her cubs and that is what he has been showing ever since he met her in the cell to this point.
