Prologue: Our Life's Fight

Days soon brought me to the edge of life. In a blink of an eye, I have no strength to wait for you anymore. Don't blame me for saying bad things, if you stop me, I still have to say: I will say goodbye to this world soon. Haha, Yao, Fat Yuan is dying.

But I have to be fortunate that I have witnessed so many unconscious, sudden deaths, and delirious dead, but I am like a seventeen-year-old child, still holding a pen, and writing this letter to you with clear thinking.

As the dust of the universe, as the Son of Humankind, I am extremely happy.

Life is nothing more than focusing on two degrees, one width, one length, as for depth, leave it to those who climb the peak of thought. My life, our life are long and wide enough.

And in my short 62 years, I have stood with you for more than 50 years. You always complain and blame yourself. We always have too little time together.

You often say the words of Premier Zhou: "I am a materialist, but about you, I want an afterlife." Let me say that we not only have an afterlife, but we already have eternity. In the days I was with you, countless atoms were already beating with me and breathing with you. In the eternal years that follow, these atoms bearing our mark will collide and interweave into a new and great existence.

We have eternity and don't care about the next life.

In the last moments of my life, I have a lot of things that I just want to tell you, and I can only tell you...

On August 20, 1949, it is said that there was still more than a month before the founding ceremony of New China, but for the people at that time, whether our world could see it or not was still inconclusive.

All of history has changed drastically since the day of Eric Richthofen's uprising in Bavaria in 1944. The memo on history obtained from the interstellar has since become waste paper.

On that day, Du Guangyuan cried happily when he heard the news.

But things took a turn for the worse. Eric was hit by the SS artillery, unconscious, the rebels split, Bavaria and Austria announced the establishment of the Southern German Federation, and with the surrender of the Nazis, Germany's split became a fait accompli. When Eric woke up, he was facing not two Germanys but four Germanys. Under the instigation of the US and the Soviet Union, Rhein-Germany and Democracy-Germany were established. In order to "contain the expansion of communism," no matter in East Asia or Western Europe, the perpetrators of the two extremist countries have not been truly punished. A large number of so-called "German-Italian elites" who were "bewildered by the Nazis" and "ashamed of Nazi behavior" but "loyal to the German nation" returned to their jobs. The awakened "Japanese imperial samurai" were hired by the United States or the Nanjing government, and a large number of Nazi-related "criminals" in East and South Germany either fled to West Berlin or the western border overnight--There is freedom and immunity there.

In 1947, Rheinland re-armed, which was a kind of conscious liberation: the German people deceived by the Nazis had the right to defend themselves and their property. Of course, no one in Rheinland will care about these, on the contrary, the seeds of ultra-nationalism are still well preserved here. With the former Nazi Germany's last head of state, former Admiral Deniz, and the leader of the Christian Democratic Union, Konrad Adenauer, joined forces to form a cabinet, the Frankfurt Trial became the last fig leaf.Although the old Nazis are dead, the new "German Suprematists" are about to start their carnival in the divided Germany.

An iron curtain fell first in Central Europe, and in the East, China's civil war entered its second year. The Xinzi massacre of 1940 is still vivid, but Chiang Kai-shek's Kuomintang reactionaries deliberately staged the human tragedy of "scraping, killing, and changing people" again here.

Although in 1939, most of the so-called "Xinzi people" left the earth to live in the pioneering areas of the Nai-Area, leaving only economic relations.However, it did not hinder the extreme conjecture of Japanese imperialism, which killed more than 200,000 civilians and prisoners of war on the grounds of "completely eradicating the communist extremist regime."

Chiang Kai-shek left tens of thousands of acres of land that could not be cultivated, and the ruins of "Xin Zi City". In order to achieve these goals, the enemies of the Chinese nation and the sinners of the Yamato nation became the accomplices of the executioners. Under the instigation of the United States, Japan also began to re-arm.

In North America, the Louisiana Soviet regime was declared illegal by the U.S. federal government after two decades. From Canada to Mexico, white terror shrouded ordinary people.

1949 seems to be a pretty good year. For example, the conflict on the Korean Peninsula has finally eased, and both the United States and the Soviet Union have announced their withdrawal; for example, the CPLA has prepared to cross the Yangtze River to Nanjing; for example, East Germany has signed a mutual recognition agreement with the two South Germanys. Socialist Germany is almost an established fact.

But also in August of that year, Beria, Khrushchev and others reported to Stalin that Milinlov and others, who presided over the democratic reform of the Soviet Union, were anti-Party and counter-revolutionary. At the most important moment of the entire socialist camp, the Milinlovs "for the future of mankind" were ousted by the Khrushchevs "for the future of the people".

They call it "politics."

The turmoil soon ended. All reforms were temporarily stopped. Milinlovs were not tried or even imprisoned. They were just put under house arrest, but not long after, they died young in succession.It is said that Stalin once said when meeting Mao Zedong that we have missed a new era.

These news spread to China one by one, and Du Guangyuan just murmured: "awake, asleep, thinking of they, the road is long and hindered."

In the last month, after he gave the manuscript to the Academy of Social Sciences, he stayed in the uncompleted Xi'an Martyrs Cemetery every day.

At about 21 o'clock in the evening on August 20, 1949, a great heart stopped beating. This communist international fighter who fought in BelHert, North America and East Asia died at the age of 62.

"We people just want to tell humans: people can still live like this."

This is a letter from the distant past. At this time, we are embarking on an unprecedented road for mankind. From the Baltic to the Mediterranean, from the Urals to the Himalayas, from the Rockies to the Andes, from the Nile to the Yangtze. Human civilization is full of liberation, or is about to be liberated, and there is a new breath everywhere.

A pioneer in China predicted: If you look at the future of the world, it will definitely be a world of red flags. And we witnessed and created all of this.

And all this is not because of the spiritual inspiration of which religious master, not because of the iron-fisted rule of which dictator, or because of the political compromise of which politician.

All of this is the real awakening of the laborers in this era! They realize that those who work with their hands and those who arm themselves with science are the creators and rulers of human civilization.

We are happy, we are excited, we almost want to use all the beautiful words to describe this new world. We are almost going to say: Look, the communist world is close at hand.

Our children, this is the excitement of our generation, but life is not only excitement, not only new things, and not only excitement. But to be alive.

In the era before human civilization was born, as biological human beings, in order to survive and reproduce, they did not scrutinize any means. Today, we workers, whether manual or mental, can proudly claim that, as social human beings, we can finally live with dignity and use scientific labor to create a better life.

But in our era, those inevitable contradictions and defects in the development of human society that have been concealed by the progress of the times will gradually be revealed and clarified in the development of human beings and the progress of cognition in the following time.

Therefore, we do not expect you to tell me that communism has been established and human civilization has been unified.

We hope you can truly realize that all good lives are created by your own hands, not by exploiting and oppressing others.

We hope that you will be able to call yourself a glorious worker, instead of calling yourself a "worker who is more equal than others."

We hope that both men and women can do work that suits their abilities, not because of their gender, age, appearance, or other labels that are placed on them.

We hope that you can always insist on arming yourself with science to improve your labor skills and create a better life, instead of letting your own desires, enjoying life with ignorance and stubbornness. You have to believe that creation is the greatest enjoyment!

We hope you can remember that nothing is taken for granted, nothing is immutable, and nothing is supposed to be.

And all of this is not based on your imagination, our moral restraint, or the spiritual inspiration of some people. It's what you practiced with your hands and guided by science.

Children, our dear children. Our experience has been clearly placed here: what we want, what our reality is, whether what we want can be achieved, how to achieve it, and what is the scientific method.

We are not worried that you will go astray. As long as you realize that labor creates people and labor creates a better life, as long as you are practicing using labor to create your own better life. You will surely realize that communism is not just empty talk, it can be achieved, and you will eventually put it into practice.

Communism is only a phased result, and both us and you are walking in a greater process. We are proud of the good life created by labor, and so will you.

We firmly believe that mankind will eventually declare to the entire universe with a unified voice: "We are human beings."

1949年8月20日,据说距离"新中国的开国大典"还有一个多月的时间,但对于当时的人来说,我们这个地球能不能看到,没有定论.

但也就在这一年的8月,贝利亚和赫鲁晓夫等人向斯大林检举主持苏联民主改革的米林洛夫等人有反党反革命的倾向.在整个社会主义阵营最要紧的时刻,"为了人类未来"的米林洛夫们被"为了人民未来"的赫鲁晓夫们赶下了台.

他们称之为"政治".

这场动荡很快就结束了,所有的改革暂时停了下来,米林洛夫们并没有被审判,甚至没有关押,只是软禁了起来,但是在不久之后,他们接二连三地英年早逝.据说,斯大林在会见Mao ZeDong时说:我们错过了一个全新的世界,但我第一次感觉到无能为力.

这些消息一个接一个传到中国国内,杜广圆只是喃喃:"寤寐思复,道阻且长."最后一个月,他将手稿交给了社科院机关之后,每天都呆在没有修建完成的西安烈士陵园.

这一切,是劳动者终于在这个时代实实在在地觉醒了!他们意识到,用双手劳动的劳动者,用科学武装自己的劳动者,才是人类文明的创造者和统治者.

我们欣喜,我们激动,我们几乎想用所有动听美好的词汇去形容这个新的世界.我们也几乎要去说:看啊,共产主义世界近在咫尺.

孩子们,这是我们这代人的激昂,可生活不只有激昂,不只有新事物,不只有激扬的精神.而是实实在在的活着.

在人类文明诞生到在这之前的时代,作为生物性的人类,为了生存和繁殖,不择手段.而如今,我们劳动者,无论是体力劳动者还是脑力劳动者,都可以骄傲地宣称,作为社会性的人类,我们终于可以有尊严地生存并用科学的劳动来创造更加美好的生活.

但我们这个时代里,那些被时代进步所掩盖的人类社会发展中的必然矛盾和缺陷,都会接下来的时间里,在人类的发展和认知的进步中逐渐显露和清晰.

所以,我们不奢望你们告诉我,共产主义已经建成了,人类文明已经大一统了.

我们希望你们能够实实在在地认识到一切美好生活,是靠自己的双手创造,而不是靠剥削和压迫别人得来的.

我们希望你们能够称自己是一个光荣的劳动者,而不会因为自己的劳动,自称"比别人更平等"的"劳动者".

我们希望无论是男人还是女人,都能去做适合自己能力的劳动,而不是因为他的性别,年龄,外貌,又或者什么加在他们身上的标签.

我们希望你们能够一直坚持用科学来武装自己,来提升自己的劳动技能,去创造更美好的生活,而不是放任自己的欲望,用无知和固步不前来享受生活.你们要相信创造是最伟大的享受!

我们希望你们能够记得没有什么是理所当然,没有什么是亘古不变,没有什么是本应如此.

而这一切,都不是靠你们的想象,不是靠我们的道德约束,不是靠某些人的精神感召.而是你们用双手实践,用科学指导出来的.

我们并不担心你们会误入歧途.只要你们认知到劳动创造人,劳动创造美好生活,只要你们在践行用劳动来创造自己的美好生活.你们就一定会认知到共产主义不是一句空话,是可以实现的,并最终为之践行.

共产主义只是一个阶段性的结果,而无论是我们还你们都走在更伟大的进程中.我们因为劳动创造的美好生活而骄傲,你们也会如此.
