Chapter 6
It can be regarded as the longest day for all, Lamai, Atid and Sanun.
Lamai has to intervene and negotiate the bickering future couple and she is now more, too hesitant to get married seeing these two. But Lamai thinks Atid and Sanun find it interesting to retort and argue to each other. They look so fun in bickering.
Lamai drove back to the Suit shop where the two left their car.
“Ok I am leaving you guys here.”
Atid asked her before leaving
“Are you coming to Bridal Shower (Bachelor Night?)”
Lamai seems to think.
“Not sure. See you on wedding day.”
Sanun nodded his head in appreciation.
“Thanks for everything Phi. Safe Drive!”

Sanun asked the man beside him.
“Are you going back to office?”
Atid replied.
“No! Look at the time. I am going home.”
Atid retorts in acerbic tone.
Sanun lowered his head and asked in hesitation,
“So can you give me a few minutes? I just want to talk you.”
Atid raised his brow and agreed.
“Ok.”
Atid just says Ok without knowing himself. May be Sanun is seriously talking and he thinks it is enough to argue with him for today.
They sit in the nearest Café.
Sanun breaks the ice with question.
“Do you have girlfriend Phi?”
Atid almost choke on coffee with the sudden question.
“No. Why?”
Sanun softly said,
“I heard from parents that you don't have one. But seeing you all against me feel like that you have someone in mind.”
Atid slowly put the cup down and sigh. He feels like he doesn't want to lie. He should let him know at least since he is becoming his spouse.
Atid said,
“I have someone I love.”
Sanun's face obviously looks surprised yet he looks sad. Don't know why Atid wanna explain in detail he continued.
“I kinda say like it is a big crush on a boy. He may know I like him but we can never say as we are even friends. I look him from far away and one day he disappears. It was in third year of my school life.”
Sanun felt sorry hearing the story.
“Oh. I'm sorry.”
Sanun listens carefully with round expectant eyes. So, Atid continues...
“Ever since then we lost contact. Haha..”
Atid laughs dryly and said,
“No. we never had contact. It's just one way crush so I can say I cannot hear his news since then. Many say he follows his lover abroad. But no one can say exactly, even his besties.”
Sanun is just sitting with lip tight and sighing quietly. He looks like he wants to say something and cannot find words. So Atid continue...
“I was looking for him and waiting for him like fool before you came up.”
Sanun looks directly into his eyes when he says this.
“So I ruin your fantasy and make your life a twist.”
Atid bitterly replied,
“Yes. I can say it is turning point for both of us.”
Sanun nodded.
“I see. I am asking you this is because I do not want to make someone unhappy.”
Atid laughs,
“So. What do you want to do to make me happy?”
Sanun shook his head but he sincerely told him,
“I accept this wedding because I do not want to let down my parents. I want them to be happy so I never against for it. But, for you, I will sign the divorce letter when you find him back or after a year or so. Deal?”
The one who is surprised now is Atid. He never thinks this tiny little man will consider so much for them and solve the things in gentleman way.
Atid just agreed.
“Deal. One thing. A year is at least you are my wife for sure. So listen to me.”
Sanun blush and shouts
“Phi! Don't tease me like that.”
Atid is laughing out loud and happy seeing the tiny boy is furious with shy peachy cheeks.
Sanun looks at him in daze and said,
“Why don't you laugh like this often? You look good with this. Also I don't want to argue with you. Being on good terms is good, isn't it?”
Feel like the soft breeze brushes through them.
This time being shy boy may be Atid. The two boys quietly are sipping their coffee. The sunset out is surely beautiful.
It is beautiful more than two boys sitting in the Cafe'? Who knows?
