Taking a step forward, I almost stumble as an icy feeling starts to make its way up my spine. I can’t shake it and I don’t want to wonder what it could mean. I didn’t want to know if it had anything to do with Adea.

I was shadowed by darkness as I made my way toward the border. Odis’s warning was long forgotten and I locked them in my sights. I watched as the warriors sat completely unaware of my presence. This night was the same as any other night for them. They had no clue that a predator was stalking them.

Slowly, I made my way toward them. I have been brewing all day, the anger had been building, and the frustration from the inability to do anything had me reaching my limit. I wouldn’t admit it but the anxiety was driving me to insanity.
