8: The ComeBack

Ly's POV

" Hey hey hey, slow down Yeish. " Hoon said and he questioned while stopping me.

" Who's that man Yeish? "

" No one Hoon. "

" You seems to know him though. And he's kind of familiar to me."

" Maybe he's a businessman just like you Honey. You used to attend a business meeting or gala, right? " Jen said thanking her in silent.

" You're right Sweetheart. Maybe. " Hoon states but a doubt is visible in his voice.

" I don't know him, really. Can we just go, please? " I said and look at them. I don't want to talk about it yet.

" Sure Yeish " Jen said but she has that looks that said ' We'll talk later'.

After an hour of driving, we got home, I mean at Jennie and Hoon's place. They didn't drive me home directly coz I think they want to know what happened earlier.

We went out of the car and carry my daughter in my arms since she's asleep while on our way. Following Jennie's lead we got inside the house and I sat carefully on the sofa. Jennie went to the kitchen to get some drinks while her husband went to their room to change. Guess, this might be a long day.

When Jennie and Hoon went to the living room with a drinks I know right away that I need to tell them everything.

Hour passed and Jen went to my side with a tears on her yes while hugging me. After I told them everything, Hoon stays silent. I don't know what to do or what to ask. I stayed silent too so I've decided to go. Jennie sent us home. Sympathy is written on her face but I told her no. I'm done with all those things in my past. I want to move on but how. That's the question that keeps lingering in my mind.

When we got home, I tucked Nari in her room and when I'm done I took a bath with a warm water because I need to relax my muscles and body. I finish thirty minutes later feeling refresh. I head to bed and got under my covers then let the sleep took me.

Monday morning came, with me and my daughter doing our usual routines but this time I'll bring her with me to work. I've decided to stop working as a waitress and instead I'll start to show who I am so that I can bring my daughter everytime with me. I have my office in a far corner of the restaurant which is only accessible to me and my manager and it is where I conduct my meetings.

So I dress my daughter into a blue jumpsuit with her cute sneakers that completed her looks. Then I dressed myself into a green jumpsuits and a black Christian Loboutin heels to match my outfit with her. After checking everything we went to the lift to our garage and open the door of my car then put Nari on her carseat.

I then put my things on the passenger seat and turn to walk on the drivers side and start the car. Few minutes later we are out onto the road. I glance Nari at the backseat and saw her playing on her iPad so I've decided to call Lina informing her of my plan and our arrival. She said she'll be outside waiting for us. Guess you are confused right? Actually I plan to work on my restaurant at the mall and my main so I've divided my time. I'll work at the mall three days a week on Monday to Wednesday and at my main on Thursday and Friday. I guess that's enough time for me.

A few moments passed and we're outside the mall with Lina walking towards my car. I get out of the car and she hugs me while pecking a kiss on my cheeks and I did the same thing. I walk towards the backseat and open the door for Nari and pick her up. Lina helps me with my suitcase and I'm thankful for that. We walk side by side towards the door.

" Ms. Ly, it's really good that you've decided to stop torturing yourself. " Lina said which made me glance at her. She looks glad of my decision.

" Not really Lin but I'm glad either because I can be with my daughter and thank you. " I said.

" Come on Yeish, you don't need to thank me. I should be the one saying thank you, right? " I smiled at her response but didn't say anything until we are in front of my restaurant. The guard smiles at us and we smiled back at him. Guess, the information spreads like a wildfire. When we're inside my staff welcomed me warmly.

We started the day with a smile on our faces and them starting to accommodate the customers and I walk towards the office with Nari on my right. I put her on the sofa while I walk on my chair behind the table and starts my day.

Won's POV

Mom was so happy to see me in our home after a while. A few minutes of greetings and I excused myself and went to my room in the second floor. I change into a sweatpants and didn't bother to wear a shirt. I went to my office that is only attached to my room but have an exit door. I love privacy and hate when people just barged into my office without any notice. I was sitting on my swivel chair and lean my head on the headrest. I want to rest even for a few minutes but the thought that I'm halfway to get and know everything about her keeps me awake.

I've decided to read the reports that my secretary send me. I work and didn't notice the time. It's around six in the evening and almost dinner time. Just a perfect time because I've finished my paperworks on time. I freshened myself before heading downstairs. I put on a shirt and a sweatpants then went out.

I've noticed Mom preparing the table and I walk behind her.

" Hi Mom. " and kiss her cheeks.

" Oh sweetie, you're here on time for dinner. " she smiled.

" Of course Mom. Where's dad? " I ask.
