They reached the end of a corridor where the walls were polished with amethyst. There was a curtain made of vines hung on the doorway. Rhea swept it aside, revealing a chamber whose walls were decorated with dado bas-relief with intricate lapidary inlay and the ceiling was curved in toward a domed. There was two-toned velvet curtain drifted down, half-covering a massive bed with creamy green coverlet on top of it.
“Lay down.” Rhea said to Luan and he settled onto the mattress.
Evangeline looked at Luan who had gone quiet since they had entered the chamber. He looked pretty awful and exhausted. She could not imagine how much hurtful for him to walk in that bad shape.
“You’ll help me, Lady Evangeline.” Rhea’s gaze fell on Evangeline. “This is the best time to help you study what does it mean by being a healer.”
